The unwanted children of the Elf-folk abandoned amongst the trees will be taken in by the spirits of the forest and train with the others of their kind to become loyal churchguards. This one is Farmi, though she is still young she is one of the most respected of the churchguard and is the favourite of the forest spirits.  Also she gay
