#and in that moment nobody was surprised. i am seriously so uncomfortable with people thinking she's good and righteous#i know some ppl like her as a villain or as a complicated character but don't like her as a person and like that shit's all good#but most of the time the only reason people like her is bc she's a girl#if edelgard were a man people would cancel her on twitter and burn pictures of her at the stake#kinda reminds me of that dimitri meme. he doesn't just kill women. he MURDERS them#y'know who else kills and murders women??? yuri!!! :D#and generally like idc abt edelgard fans as much as edelgard stans bc the latter people are batshit most of the time#one time this one guy in a server just out of NOWHERE at all comes into a chat and starts bashing Dimitri#nobody was even talking about him and we were just in a voice call after playing games#literally not even talking about three houses and this guy comes in and starts bashing him in front of dimitri fans#and mind you this was a game voice text chat he did it in so it wasn't even the right channel to discuss it#he just came in and did that and then when I shut his ass down he goes sorry I didn't mean for that KHFJHGS LMFAO that lie tho#u rly abouta walk into a game night text chat when you weren't even IN the game night and randomly bash a character#that people in the call loved for literally zero entire reason just to prop up edelgard#imagine if i randomly walked in on claude fans and bashed him just to be like AND LORENZ IS ALL THAT IS HOLY IN THE WORLD#like nah i love claude but even when im discussing lorenz and dealing with claude stans who bash lorenz#i don't just waltz in to prop lorenz up and put claude down like ??? b u h r u h#i ain't ever seen people this shitty in any fe fandom before#the best feeling in the world is killing edelgard in heroes with shinon#turns on ''yaaaaaay!!!'' sfx for every instance#tl;dr idc who you like as a character but if they do awful shit just admit they did awful shit#and don't go after fans of other characters and shit on the characters in front of them when they weren't even hurting you#it's NOT hard to be a decent person and agree to disagree. what makes me uncomfortable is when#edelgard stans think she's justice and perfection and can do no wrong. like buddy everyone can do wrong and everyone has in their life#i'm not against like AU edelgard fics and all that and like what she could've been. i hate that she's unreasonable in canon#tbd
