what... if ur fave sayer episode so far :3c.....
i mean..... most generic answer ever but probably subculture gemini. i think there are ones since then that have technically been Better but that was the first to really leave an impact on me like 'this is wild and cool as hell but also Really fucked up" and is like the exact kind of area i'd want a sci-fi horror thing to land itself in tonally. doors was also a ton of fun in that same vein, though didn't quite have its haunting gravitas. with a different framing, 'the day the mirrors seethe' could have easily been top as well bc that concept was ALSO cool and fucked as hell but they kinda just danced around it which like i get it but cmonnnnnnn give me something concrete here i can chew on
i think ive already chatted with you about most of the other standouts. other faves include the return OCEAN'S return from deep space & their subsequent scramble to stop/appease it, the one where the maintenance worker gets drafted to observe that stairwell cult thing[and subsequently gets sucked in], and like any of the dr. young episodes; largely because i really really wish we got more Actual Conversation between the residents and AI. and ALSO. the fucking hans christian andersen story just because that's a hysterical premise for an episode. the story was good too.
#on the note of resident/ai interaction btw id like to say im a little disappointed they didn't actually really do anything with veedor-1#i mean like. obviously it mostly serves function as the genesis of OCEAN but. i wanted to know how things were running...#how theyre running NOW. like is there anyone on there left alive. i cant imagine it has much use for people on there now#u cant give me a 'ahh good morning new captain here is how everything has been going since launch' and then not like. follow up on that eve#what's going on in there!!!!!
