YEONJUN

yeonjun is panicking. he silently curses himself for failing to set his alarm - the words falling from his lips in quiet whispers as he rushes throughout your apartment. 

“i’m sorry, i’m running late,” he mumbles, clumsily shoving his phone into the pocket of his sweatpants. “soobin’s gonna kill me.” 

you bite back a chuckle, watching as yeonjun frantically runs a hand through his still-disheveled hair. he continuously runs back and forth, shoving things into a backpack before slinging it over his shoulder.

yeonjun sighs, pausing once he reaches the front door. he turns to momentarily glance back at you with an apologetic smile. “don’t forget to eat breakfast, okay? i’ll call you at lunch. i promise.” 

“jun!” the man just barely has enough time to spin around to face you. your fingers curl into the thick fabric of his hoodie before you gently pull him in and quickly press your lips against his. 

you pull away just as fast as you leaned in; a soft smile lingers on your lips. wide, unblinking eyes meet your own as you reach up to brush a strand of disheveled hair back into place. “you almost forgot our goodbye kiss,” you chuckle, innocently shrugging at his visible confusion. “i’ll see you tonight. i love you.”

SOOBIN

“i’m dying.”

“you’re not dying,” soobin sighs, wandering over to kneel down in front of your couch so he’s eye level with you. he softly smiles when you pout, squinting at him through blurry vision. 

your eyes flutter closed when he reaches up, gently brushing a stray strand of hair away from your face. soobin’s hands linger on your forehead for just a few seconds before he settles for resting them against your cheek. “my throat hurts,” you whine. 

“i know, baby,” he murmurs. “why don’t i go make you some samgyetang? maybe it’ll help clear your sinuses a little.”

you hum in agreement, sleepily blinking up at him. soobin smiles. he leans in, gingerly pressing his lips against your forehead. “try to get some rest love, okay? i’ll wake you up when the food is ready.”

soobin pauses when you softly grab onto his arm just before he stands up, quickly leaning in to press a soft peck against his cheek. you bite back a chuckle when he freezes, staring at you with wide eyes and overly flushed cheeks. 

“thank you, binnie,” you smile. “i love you.”

soobin chuckles, softly shaking his head. “i love you too, y/n,” he murmurs, leaving you with yet another peck against your knuckles before he slips away into your kitchen.

BEOMGYU

you’re going to die of boredom. you’re sure of it. 

a defeated sigh escapes you as you roll onto your side, now facing beomgyu. neatly brushed shaggy bangs frame his face. his eyes remain laser focused on the game illuminating the screen. his fingers move expertly across the keys as he easily takes down enemy after enemy. the otherwise quiet room is only occasionally broken by the noise of soft curses whispered beneath his breath or the repetitive sound of mechanical keys clicking over and over again. 

you sit up, quietly staking across the room until you’re standing behind him. beomgyu groans after yet another defeat - a bright “game over” page illuminating the page. like a predator, you strike, quickly leaning down to tilt his face towards you before pressing a kiss against his lips. 

beomgyu freezes, staring up at you in shock. a few seconds pass before he chuckles, a soft smile tugging at the corners of his lips. your breath nearly hitches in your throat when he leans in, narrowing the already small space between you even more. 

“if you wanted a kiss so badly all you had to do was ask,” beomgyu smirks. this time you’re the flustered one when he leans in, pressing your lips together in a sweet kiss.

TAEHYUN

as soon as you open the metal door, a seemingly endless sea of machines and mirrors greet you. the hybe gym is nothing like you’ve ever seen before - the large space filled with more equipment than you know how to use. 

“hi love,” taehyun smiles at you through one of the floor length mirrors - pausing his rep for just long enough to greet you. wandering over to the corner he’s in, finding a seat on one of the nearby workout benches. his movements are always controlled and precise as he diligently works his way through his set. 

you wait until taehyun takes a break, relaxing against his workout mat as he catches his breath. you lean in, reaching over to cup his cheek before pulling him into a quick peck.

taehyun is quick to reciprocate, feverishly returning the kiss. your hand tangles into the hair at the nape of his neck, holding him in place as you press your lips against his. taehyun smiles into the kiss; his hands finding a home resting comfortably on your hips. 

a sly smirk tugs at the corners of his lips when you pull away. “couldn’t resist, huh?,” he teases.

you chuckle, moving to lay on the ground beside him. “you? never.”

HUENING KAI

it’s far too early in the morning when kai begins to stir. sunlight streams in through your opened curtains in golden waves.

he yawns, shifting slightly to stretch out his sore limbs before he rolls onto his side. you’re still curled up underneath the covers beside him the same way you were when you both fell asleep. kai’s lips quirk into an unconscious smile as he admires your peaceful features. he watches as your chest rises and falls in an even rhythm; soft snores occasionally escape your lips. 

he moves as cautiously as he can when he begins to sit up, slowly shifting away from you with as little movement as possible. he all but jumps out of his skin when you reach up; your fingers curl into the fabric of kai’s t-shirt, tightly gripping the fabric in your hands. he barely has enough time to react when you gently tug him downwards before crashing your lips against his. 

kai feels like he’s on fire. he can feel his cheeks fiercely burning with a blush that’s only increased when you nonchalantly push his stiff body back onto the mattress before crawling over to lay on his chest. 

“five more minutes,” you mumble, letting your eyes flutter closed once again. kai lets a laugh of disbelief escape him as he complies, almost too eager to fall back asleep with you safely tucked in his arms.

The Name Chapter: Freefall Concepts Analysis

let's analyze the concept pictures and trailers for the new upcoming TXT album! there are a lot of details hidden everywhere 👀

looks like my predictions were mostly right btw 🤭 if you haven't yet, i suggest you read them here before reading this post because they are strictly connected!

— REALITY VERSION

We didn't get an obvious autumn setting, but we did get colder rainy weather:

TXT just fell down to earth, to the harsh reality of things, they don't have nowhere to run away to anymore.

The vibes are very reminiscent of the Mess concept for Minisode 2, after all, TXT's feelings are the same: in Mess they just lost their first romantic love, their other/new Neverland.

Mess was also connected to the You version of Freeze, through props as well (the teddy bear, the flowers, the helmet, etc.), and Reality is now connected to You as well, because of the rain and umbrellas it looks like a darker sad version of it.

Just a quick recap...

1) YOU in Freeze = TXT found their first romantic love (aka Moa, very y/n fanfic of them ik ik) and invite them on a date.

2) MESS in Tuesday's Child = Moa doesn't show up to the date because it's actually tootiming all five of them 🤡 (see Lo$er=Lo♡er mv and Good Boy Gone Bad Japanese version mv). TXT are now about to go back to their childhood Neverland to mend their broken hearts and refuse the pain that comes with growing up.

3) REALITY in Freefall = TXT are heartbroken again, this time because they had to leave Neverland too and there's no way of escaping growing pains... 😔

(i swear i'm gonna complete the storyline summary with Minisode 2 by the end of the year 🧍‍♀️)

This version is also FILLED! TO! THE! BRIM! with hints through words and phrases written everywhere, on walls, signs, clothes...

If you zoom in the pictures you should be able to read them, i'm gonna list all those i found and collected and what i think they stand for:

• "step to earth" = TXT are back to earth/reality

• "tel: 03042019" and "fax 08222019" = the numbers contain the dates of TXT debut and moa day: TXT should talk their feelings out with eachother and connect with Moa again (are we going to see TXT coming in contact again with Moa in the music video? 👀 are we gonna get love songs again in this album?)

• “find my feet” = TXT need to let go of escapistic fantasies and come back down to earth. the meaning of this phrase also is "to start becoming comfortable in a new situation"

• “parachute” = it probably references something that represents a "saviour" for TXT during their harsh return to reality, it could be Moa and the Star 🤔

• “loadstar” = the STAR they need to light up again rembering their promise song and singing it together, also pretty sure the it's the title track name or part of it 😧 looks like they weren't fooling us in the end with the signs on the beach pic from Temptation-Farewell 🤡👍

• “dive” also written as "•Di♡E!•" in the black&white running-in-the-rain group pic = could be a track name, perhaps referencing Lo$er=Lo♡er 😮!!

• “rags rags rags” = could be the remains of TXT's inner selves after not having Neverland/Magic Island anymore 🤔

• "lost of found " = TXT lost themselves at Neverland and when they forgot their true names as children, but are now going to find themselves again once they remember them.

• " Running Instead of crying" = TXT shouldn't cry mourning Neverland (but focus on what's ahead of them instead and run towards it ?)

• "kicking tomorrow kicking" = they need to hold on, accept that tomorrow is coming, keep going and keep fighting

• "stand tall, walk tall, stand still" = they should be proud and confident of who they are but ? stay the same ? 🤔

• "one dream" = TXT's motto, they need to remember what they are really fighting for and what's truly their goal

• "in dreams begin responsibility" = if TXT dream to turn the world into a brighter place again, where people believe in their dreams, through awakening the Star, they have to take responsibility for it.

Now let's focus on the store behind TXT in the group pictures! Credits to @/txtbook on twitter because i included what they wrote as well.

The shop is called LOADSTAR and it's in the building 304... remember the train also called 304 that previously showed TXT memories and predictions? The shop offers repairings for VCRs 👀

(at the shop) they repair the DVD that contains memories and we have the theme of memories & "remembering the name" in txt concept + since the building number is 304 it's great connection to their "start line" aka magic island but now in reality!

Loadstar is a guiding star used in navigation and MOA are always referenced as Stars + morse code was used for txt debut album TDC: STAR & questioning films words (true names?) — (me: yes, their true names👍)

The LoadSTAR shop that also sells music instruments & radio can fix their "melancholy DVD" & give back memories about their start line, dream & magic, music, song of a star 😭

And guess what Beomgyu holds in the CLARITY version? 👀 a video camera

but first let's analyze...

— MELANCHOLY VERSION

On a recent Weverse Live Soobin, Taehyun and Hueningkai opened up about their trainee days, in what conditions they rehearsed in the old basement of the old BigHit building (in 2014-16 -ish if i'm correct) here's a extract:

🐰 when we were in the basement practice room, there was a time when the ventilator wasn’t working…the ventilator was broken, the air conditioner was broken, there as water leaking onto the floor, there was mushroom growing on the floor 🐧 the mushrooms were really… 🐰 and since we’d have dance lessons in that situation for like 8-9 hours, the mirror was barely visible 🐧 because of the humidity 🐰 the mirror would get all fogged up because of the humidity making things barely visible 🐰 so we’d practice and… 🐿️ we used to wipe it down with newspaper 🐰 oh right! we’d all wipe it away with newspaper 🐰 and then we’d open the window for ventilation but leaving the window open in the middle of winter…opening the window when you’re already sweating makes you feel super cold 🐰 so we’d be shivering while trying to get some ventilation in the room 🐰 at that time, i kinda really hated the company, i hated our teachers… 🐰 but when else would we be able to experience something like that? 😅

This concept seems reminiscing of that. They were a group of boys working hard for their dream of debuting and making music, holding on despite the hard reality and injustices they had to face everyday.

This concept also features a wolf dog !

Yeonjun's real name is "promise" and the hint for it is "the one who shall not eat dogs"

5:53 is the hour between ‘dog and wolf’ from the French expression "l'heure entre chien et loup", it's the time when you can't distinguish a friend from a foe: it might reference how TXT will have to fight eachother and themselves in the rest of The Name Chapter

— CLARITY VERSION

This concept reminds of TXT abandoning Neverland in the The Name Chapter Concept Trailer. TXT used to travel to Neverland at Blue Hour (the sunset), but they don't go this time: when night comes they are still on earth.

honestly, the first thing that came to my mind when i saw these pictures was the last line from from Dante's Inferno: "E quindi uscimmo a riveder le stelle", translated "and thence we came forth to see the stars again". After all, Neverland has been hell for TXT, a nightmare dressed as a daydream, and now that they have a clear mind, freed from the temptations, they can see the reality of things again and the real stars, amongst which there's their Star!

If these pictures seem familiar there's a reason...

they are actually a replica of The Dream Chapter: Eternity, Starboard Version.

TXT are in the same exact order: in Can You See Me mv (title track of TDC: Eternity) we saw Beomgyu and Taehyun fighting, and on The Name Chapter Concept Trailer we saw that Beomgyu and Taehyun are the last ones to fight eachother. In addition everyone but Beomgyu is facing to the right: Beomgyu is the last one left after they fight eachother in the concept trailer.

Taehyun stands opposite to Beomgyu and is not holding hands with him = they fight, but let's remember as well what we said about him experiencing the fall back to reality differently from the other members in the Temptation analysis and Freefall predictions. That is further confirmed by the fact that in the solo pictures for this version everyone is out in the open, while Taehyun is the only one inside a window. The same as Taehyun's boat being the only one flipped around in the Farewell concept.

They also are on a rooftop 👀 like in 0x1lovesong Japanese Version mv, and on the mini posters for this version looks like they are either falling or on the ground after the fall 👇

... but it also could be something else, judging by the colors that remind of the Nightmare concept in Temptation... we'll see 👀

edit: forgot to add that Kai has odd eyes like a certain someone...

Kai is not the cat but has been the most tempted beside Yeonjun by the devil/peter pan/cat because he doesn't want to leave childhood most of all members. We saw him hesitant to leave Neverland at the end of Sugar Rush Ride, and we know his evil doppelgänger (see Frost mv) is going to fight Kai himself and the members (see TNC concept trailer) inside a labyrinth he built (see TNC concept trailer and Run Away mv when Kai draws blue and yellow - like the cat eyes - intertwined circles around the school), he probably was tempted to take over by the devil/cat, that's why the odd eyes.

Also didn't notice that the glass dome that we had in TDC: Eternity, Starboard Version pictures has been shattered by TXT literally - there are glass pieces and metal bars on the ground at their feet in the Clarity pictures - and metaphorically!

TXT broke the barrier that locked them in eternal dream. (@/0X1ZEROBASEONE on twitter/X)

Remember how TXT were surrounded by glass pieces at the end of 0x1lovesong Japanese Version mv too? 👀 It's all coming together.

It’s official–you can tell that the rest of your day is going to be hell when you wake up to a faceful of glitter. You fume silently, gritting your teeth as you stare at yourself in the mirror. Your hair is a snarled mess, and specks of shiny pink and gold are caught between the strands. You grip the sink.

Yuuta trudges glumly into the bathroom, then catches sight of you and freezes like a deer in headlights. “Y/N, you…uh…”

“If you say anything,” You snarl viciously. “It will be the last thing you say. Ever.”

“Right.” Yuuta agrees. “Right. My bad. You look fine. Definitely.” He catches sight of your glare, and backtracks. “I mean. Nothing to note about your appearance. Nope. Nuh-uh.” Clearly realising he’s simply digging his grave deeper, Yuuta makes a zipping motion over his mouth and begins to inch out of the bathroom. “I think I’ll just. Go now.”

You pay him no mind as he makes his escape, too busy examining the damage. You recognise this modus operandi: the colours are a dead giveaway.

Hinata.

You’re going to kill him. Then you pause. Objectively, your rage-fueled rampage would be cathartic. And it would also be interesting to witness. But it won’t do anything in the long run. It’s time, you think, to fight fire with fire.

It had taken you a while to come up with the perfect prank. In the end, you’d decided on a basic yet elegant prank–after all, you can’t go wrong with misflavoured foods!

Sitting on a tray in front of you was a lovely cream cheesecake, one that you’d stolen from the kitchens (the label read ‘Property of Oogami Koga–DO NOT TOUCH!! I’m looking at you, vampire bastard’ but you’d disregarded that in favour of what you deemed the greater good, aka restoring your lost dignity), except that it was filled with a concoction of your own making that you’d lovingly named ‘torture and insanity’.

Crushed jalapeños, melted fondue, soy sauce, and wasabi all mixed together to guarantee a disaster for whomever ate it.

“Hi, Y/N!” Hinata chirps, a grin on his face. Speak of the devil. Yuuta trails behind him, fidgeting anxiously with his hair. “Ooh, whatcha got there?”

“A smoothie,” You say flatly, taking a long sip from your strawberry smoothie. “Oh, and cake, I guess? I dunno. You can have it, if you want.”

“Don’t mind if I do~” Hinata rubs his hands together, pulling a fork out of his pockets. “You want some, Yuuta-kun?” Yuuta catches your eye, and you smile. He shudders and shakes his head. Hinata shrugs. “More for me, I guess.”

You wait patiently, and are rewarded with the sight of Hinata’s eyes bugging out of his head as the filling bursts onto his tongue. “Ew, ew, ew, gross! That’s gross, that’s awful!” He waves a hand over his tongue, as though exposing it to the air will get rid of the taste, then dives for your smoothie when that doesn’t work. You let him, because there was a reason you’d brought it in the first place.

“Serves you right,” You snap, over his desperate slurping. “You shouldn’t have pranked me first thing in the morning.”

“Pranked you?” Hinata says incredulously, face stained pink. “I didn’t prank you? I was going for Yuuta-kun and–oh, no… Yuuta-kun! Why didn’t you warn me?”

“He knew he’d rather stick with the superior pranker,” You declare, pleased as the cat that caught the canary.

“And you think I’d help you? Knowing what day today is?” Yuuta adds, sticking his tongue out.

“Meanies!” Hinata cries out. “You two are conspiring against me!”

“Nostalgic, am I right?” You grin, because the three of you hadn’t done a prank war in ages, ever since Vice Prez had sat you all down and told you, in no uncertain terms, that if you kept your pranking ways up, he’d have to take drastic measures. You tap the bracelet on your wrist, a symbol of your friendship. “Happy birthday, you two.”

TXT’s logo chronicles how they’ve grown up

The history and surprising depth behind the group’s animated logos

One fan put it perfectly in a comment on The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION logo video that was released on December 15: “Only TOMORROW X TOGETHER could announce their comeback like this.” An animated logo is always one of the first reveals in the lead-up to their comeback. For every album, the group unveils a variation on their logo that functions as a hint toward the meaning behind the upcoming release. Unlike for previous albums, the undulating TEMPTATION logo represents a young man swayed by temptation.

Choi SeaYol, who works in the BX2 department behind TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s artist and album branding, went with a shade of green for the TEMPTATION background. He thought of it as a color that “has a sense of youth like a seedling, weakness, purity and yet peculiar like poison or liquor—and something somehow dark about it.” After losing everything, even love, in minisode 2: Thursday’s Child, their previous release, TOMORROW X TOGETHER is on the brink of being cut off from the world completely. In The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, they shift their focus from their relationship with others and onto themselves. Unlike The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE days, when there was a clear choice to make, they now find themselves facing a world where it’s impossible to even differentiate good from bad. You can hear it in the way YEONJUN’s voice is warped in the logo video when he says the line, “It’s so sweet. But I should find my name.” They’re no longer waiting for someone to rescue them from this world; now they have to steel themselves against temptation without any help. “We’re focusing our efforts on making sure the TOMORROW X TOGETHER logo conveys what the artist is currently going through that’s allowing them to grow,” Choi explains, “and a bit of what they’re likely to face in the future.”

The Dream Chapter, TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s first album series, begins with The Dream Chapter: STAR, the animated logo for which is two geometric shapes, identical except for their colors, that move toward each other and then overlap. This reflects “a narrative about trying to figure out your own identity within the bigger group picture of being with your peers,” Choi says. Kim Yeeun, another member of the BX2 department, says the albums are meant to reflect each step of growing up as TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s peer group experiences it. “TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s story is all about growth, and it follows the same trajectory as other young people, reflecting them as a persona,” she says, “so the logo grows along with the narrative just as the artists do.” Choi adds that, “within this process of growth,” the logo videos for The Dream Chapter series show “the vulnerability of childhood and a sense of what it means to be a young boy,” while those for The Chaos Chapter series show “figuring out how to break free of the chains of chaos after meeting someone new.” The logo for The Dream Chapter: MAGIC changes into a sparkle representing places and times that are almost magical, reflecting lyrics like, “We gotta be together to get to the hidden 9 ¾,” from the lead single “9 and Three Quarters (Run Away).” But the brief flicker of that sparkle can’t last forever. In MAGIC’s animated logo, the two shapes come together to form an X and a plus sign; for The Dream Chapter: ETERNITY, the green X becomes a circle, splitting out into separate green and purple rings. That brief moment from before is over and the cracks start to show, showing that, paradoxically, ETERNITY is anything but. That’s when the boys’ fantasies of eternal friendship are shattered and The Chaos Chapter begins. And that’s why, in the FREEZE logo video, the letters “TXT” are trapped in place by chaos outside their control and even the sounds in the video sound like something frozen. The only thing moving is the beating heart right in the middle. Isolated and cut off from others, the boys enter a period of life where they experience the kind of love that makes your heart race even amidst chaos. Now that they’ve met this “one and only,” the design inside the X in The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE logo becomes more pointed and stronger, and the same change is seen in the boys, who want to smash through the frozen world and escape one way or another. “The animated logos for The Chaos Chapter series capture how this generation responds when faced with certain chaotic situations,” Choi says. “First they freeze, then they have to choose whether to fight or escape.” Altogether, this acts as a metaphor for the fears TOMORROW X TOGETHER and the generation they represent have no choice but to face and how they choose to confront them. 

As the shattered heart in the Thursday’s Child logo suggests, TOMORROW X TOGETHER gets their hearts broken. The album also “shows the ‘good boy’ group of the K-pop scene has ‘gone bad,’” Kim says—a stark contrast with what had been their signature zestful image. TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s main lineup of albums, the Chapter series, shows how they grow over time, shifting their focus from being a part of their peer group, to becoming one side of a couple, to discovering their true identity. By contrast, the minisode series reflects the realities they face, such as the opportunity for dramatic change they find in Thursday’s Child. The minisode 1: Blue Hour logo animation reflects the shift to virtual reality that took place during the pandemic through the use of pixel art to conjure up images of a game world. For the minisode 2: Thursday’s Child logo, brush- and pen-drawn X cover up a broken heart, suggesting a reality so broken that, like shattered glass, it can never be put back together. “We made the boys expressing the emotions they feel after experiencing first love and their first breakup in The Chaos Chapter the main focus,” Choi says. The logo shows emotional chaos—endlessly angry yet sad one day, then infinitely empty the next. The animated logos reflect how the Chapter series tells the major events of the boys’ life story while the minisode series gives a detailed account of the things that happen when reality steps in and causes their lives to change.

“The logos are a strong asset for TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s branding and serve as their identity,” Kim says of the animated logos. “They follow the artist’s narrative and serve to summarize the way they’re growing.” Each animated logo reminds listeners what the group was like during the corresponding period and the logos are as diverse and ever-changing as the group themselves have proven to be since they debuted back in 2019. You can tell how big that change has been just by watching the animated logos for The Dream Chapter: STAR and The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION back to back. Throughout that time, the members of TOMORROW X TOGETHER have passed through all the same stages of growth that everyone in their generation has gone through to arrive at where they are today. Youth is, after all, essentially a sequence of steps toward becoming a more complex person. And the group’s animated logos contain all that history and all that meaning in just three letters: TXT.

“hyung?” yeonjun whispers. any lingering annoyance at being awoken so suddenly immediately disappears when he notices the freshly dried tear stains on your face. “hey,” his hand immediately brushes against your cheek. “what’s wrong?”

“nightmare,” you mumble. yeonjun doesn’t waste any time; coaxing your head down to rest against his chest. you shift to listen to his heartbeat, letting the rhythm soothe you as his hand rakes through your hair. 

after a few minutes, your gentle voice breaks the silence. “tell me a story?”

“okay,” yeonjun hums. he leans down to press a kiss against your forehead. “the day i fell in love with you was the first time you came to practice with me. i was watching you dance around in front of the mirror. you had this big smile on your face and i remember thinking, ‘i’d do anything to see this for the rest of my life.’ i hope i’m the one who makes you smile like that forever.”

you sigh as you walk up the steps to txt’s dorm, retracing the familiar route to your boyfriend’s home. the door opens with a small click as you use the spare key to unlock it. you slip your shoes off, leaving them haphazardly laying amongst the rest as you trudge through the otherwise empty dorm. your bag weighs heavily on your shoulder like a reminder of your pending assignments. 

you can feel some of the tension falling from your shoulders as you walk up to kai’s bedroom door. you pause just before you open it - listening to his soft voice as it filters through. “i just… i’m really in love with him, mom,” he nervously chuckles. your heart rate increases and butterflies swarm in your stomach as he continues. “he’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me. he’s everything i could’ve asked for in a boyfriend. i don’t know what i would do without him.”

unwilling to wait any longer, you gently push the door open. kai exclaims as he jumps at the sudden noise. he stares at you with wide eyes and flushed cheeks before quickly stammering out an excuse and hanging up from the call. “hyung! how… how long have you been standing there?” 

“not long,” you say as you set your bag down before all but tackling him into a hug. kai’s blush deepens - especially when you lean back just enough to pull him into a sweet kiss. your lips move in sync together for a few seconds before you pull away, looking at him with a bright smile. “i love you too, kai.”

TXT's Official Storyline through Discography's Chapters

On the official Big Hit website section dedicated to TXT, the albums are presented and information on the storyline is given, specifying which themes and events each chapter focuses on. These are enough to have a general picture of the storyline and understand how the chapters are placed in time!

Here I've only included the paragraphs from each album that give us insight for the storyline, you can read the full thing here .

1ST MINI ALBUM - THE DREAM CHAPTER: STAR

TOMORROW X TOGETHER delivers their story through ‘The Dream Chapter’. As they transition from childhood to adolescence, the boys have gathered together under ONE DREAM. For TOMORROW X TOGETHER, star is another name for dream: the emotions swelling up inside as you look up at the starry night sky, the growing excitement about tomorrow – chasing the stars mean you are remembering your childhood dreams. ‘The Dream Chapter’ will unfold the stories of what they encountered as they grew. 

A compilation of 5 tracks in total, the album ‘The Dream Chapter: STAR’ sings out TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s “happiness and excitement of meeting that special someone.” The boys’ story opens with ‘Blue Orangeade’, and closes with ‘Nap of a star’, narrating how together they make things possible that was impossible alone. 

1ST FULL-LENGTH ALBUM - THE DREAM CHAPTER: MAGIC

TOMORROW X TOGETHER unfolds their story of growth and encounters in this new journey through the album concept The Dream Chapter. While The Dream Chapter: STAR expressed the “happiness and excitement of meeting that special someone”, The Dream Chapter: MAGIC tells the story of “magical adventures” that boys encounter together with their friends who are different, yet alike. Through this adventure, the boys share their transformation, confusion and exploding emotions that arise during their transition to adolescence.

The album includes 8 tracks: “New Rules” that talks about the desire of wanting to create their own rules of the world, the lead single “9 and Three Quarters (Run Away)”, “Roller Coaster” which depicts the fearful but also an exciting moment like a rollercoaster ride, and “Angel Or Devil” singing about the two inner voices fighting endlessly.

2ND MINI ALBUM - THE DREAM CHAPTER: ETERNITY

“Dream Chapter: ETERNITY”, following their debut album “Dream Chapter: STAR” and their first full-length album “Dream Chapter: MAGIC” tells the story of young boys’ experiences meeting friends who are different yet alike. While they struggle with reality and rifts sometimes appear among them, the narrative encapsulates their hope that their time together will last eternally.

3RD MINI ALBUM - MINISODE1 : BLUE HOUR

(...)For their second year of debut in 2020, the members are making their way back into the hearts of fans all around the world with their new album brimming with stories only they can tell, armed with “innocence uniquely TOMORROW X TOGETHER” as the world faces the unique and unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

2ND FULL-LENGTH ALBUM - THE CHAOS CHAPTER: FREEZE

The new ‘Chaos Chapter’ begins where dreams have been swept away by the towering presence of the real world. Worldly events like the COVID-19 pandemic are violent assailants that crash upon the boy’s once peaceful life. As his world crumbles away, the boy feels insignificant, empty, and frozen. It isn’t until ‘you’ appear before him that he begins to see more. With ‘you,’ he experiences love and believes, unequivocally, that ‘you’ are his real and only world.

REPACKAGE ALBUM - THE CHAOS CHAPTER: FIGHT OR ESCAPE

The ‘Chaos Chapter’ depicts a world in which dreams have been swept away to be replaced by the towering presence of reality. As the world he once knew crumbles away, the boy feels small, insignificant, empty, and frozen. But ‘you’ awaken the emotion of ‘love’ inside of him, and the boy now seeks to step out beyond the freeze. For ‘you,’ he wants to make a choice: to FIGHT against the world or to ESCAPE together with you.

4TH MINI ALBUM - MINISODE2: THURSDAY'S CHILD

In minisode 2: Thursday’s Child, the experience of a first breakup strikes as a powerful storm mixed with denial, dejection, anger, and loss. Our protagonist fully indulges in and expresses each of these emotions as they come, until he is finally able to accept that his once treasured relationship has come to an end. Moving from adolescence to adulthood, the boy comes to better understand both himself and the world around him. Then, a question arises: on what path of growth will his feet lead him next?

5TH MINI ALBUM - THE NAME CHAPTER: TEMPTATION

The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION depicts youth on the brink of adulthood. After experiencing conflict and chaos, the boys feel a desire to postpone their growth and linger in the freedom of Neverland. Their journey forward despite this desire is a representation of today’s generation as they continue to grow through the challenges of the world.

3ND FULL-LENGTH ALBUM - THE NAME CHAPTER: FREEFALL

The Name Chapter: FREEFALL is a story of the youth who had been delaying their adulthood and escaping from the world but finally decided to face reality. The process of freefalling into reality istormenting, and reality bites, but they make a firm determination to go on, facing up to everything around them.

(...)TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s resplendent coming-of-age story is anticipated to offer comfort and empathy to all of those moving toward their dreams.

6TH MINI ALBUM - MINISODE3: TOMORROW

Minisode 3: TOMORROW is a story of a boy who remembers a past promise and goes in search of “you” who he made the promise with. The boy recalls the innocent aspirations that he dreamed of with “you” in his youth and decides to find “you” and move forward to tomorrow. The boy says that tomorrow with “you” is hope and salvation.

The album consists of seven tracks including “I’ll See You There Tomorrow,” which sings of faith in reunion, “- --- -- --- ·-· ·-· --- ·--,” a signal of hope for the shared future, “Deja vu,” which says the future reunion with you feels like a déjà vu, “Miracle,” which conveys the preciousness of a miraculous relationship, “The Killa (I Belong to You),” a powerful serenade, “Quarter Life,” a message of anxiety and self-affirmation at quarter-life, and “Deja vu (Anemoia Remix),” a remix that accentuates the original song’s sentimental vibe.
