a couple of Pusher studies. the top one was done on a plane in a little under an hour. I've found that doing these sorts of studies during flight is actually great because you don't get distracted by, say, checking tumblr, it helps pass the time and calm down if you're nervous, and you don't get lost in the details/portrait likeness, you only focus on the big picture (color combinations, shapes, light and shadow contract etc)

Do you like being able to see what's happening on screen? Are you tired of scorching your retinas because you have to turn up the brightness so much the geiger counter on your desk is going crazy? Do you hate Chris Carter?
Yeah. Me too.
Turns out the ending scene of Demons is a lot better when you can actually see it.
Once again, I tried to improve the lighting while keeping as much of the quality as possible. I also reduced the brightness during the intense, horribly flickering flashbacks; fair warning to those with any photo-sensitivity issues though, it's better but still there.
