god I love caretaker-turned-whumpee so much. "I'm going to scream. don't stop." coaching someone through stitches. explaining the procedure step-by-step, knowing the motions by heart and knowing your life has to be in someone else's hands. "take a deep breath. steady. you can do this." pushing aside the agony in favor of keeping your inexperienced caretaker calm, clinical precision even in pain, "hold me down," the trust and vulnerability in letting someone heal you when you spend your life healing others. ugh. it's so good.

The first mistake I see people make is assuming there are completely "nonviolent" ways to be transphobic. It seems like some people conceptualize transphobia as being either violent (which is always physical in some way) or nonviolent (which is "simple" emotional, verbal, or psychological abuse)

It seems, also, that people presume that when somebody has "noble" intentions for their transphobia - "I'm trying to save you!" for instance - it is suddenly nonviolent. Consider, though, how a transphobe would "save" a trans person. Would they allow that person to exist unadulterated (including being able to transition), or would they prefer to put them through conversion therapy, or revoke their access to bodily autonomy, or force them to have children, or anything that will prevent them from transition or even identifying as trans or otherwise tying them down with the obligations that prevent transition or identifying as trans?

There is no true "nonviolent" way to be transphobic because being transphobic relies on denying one the ability to autonomy and personhood. Fundamentally, even the transphobes who "want to save us" only do so in their own self-interest to save them from the horror of knowing that more people than they are alive and thriving.

(Post panic attack Mushroom here, I’m putting this vent thingy under a cut now, I was kinda freaking out when I posted it so sorry lol)

So. Apparently I’m getting some… uh, something (not actually sure what) done to my face tomorrow. All I really know is that it’s for “aesthetic purposes”.

No matter how many times I insist that I like the way I look, my mom doesn’t seem to agree. Anyways I’m praying to god that this isn’t some sort of plastic surgery or something. With any luck it’s just like, a tooth-whitening procedure (she’s mentioned that a few times so I really hope it’s just that) or something else small. It better not be a nose job. If it’s a nose job (ever since I broke my nose and it got a bump in it, my moms been complaining about how I used to have such a cute button nose) then I swear the second that shit heals I am breaking my nose again. I don’t care.

Yeah I’m… honestly scared. I’ve told my mom so much that I don’t want to change the way I look, and she still went behind my back and booked me this appointment to have… whatever it is done to make me prettier.

But I’m just gonna fuck my face up again if they fix it. If they get rid of my scar I’m taking a knife to my face and giving myself a new one. I don’t want to change. I don’t. I’ll make myself even uglier than I already am. They can’t make me pretty, I don’t want to be! I JUST WANT TO BE MYSELF!

Carly at 4 am:

Thinking about one night, Logan waking up to Wade cross-legged, rocking back and forth as he's patting Evelyn.

"Shhh.. shh, it's alright.. you're okay, baby girl."

Immediately, he wants to just go back to bed because it is too early to deal with this bullshit though he sighs heavily and asks anyway.

"What's wrong with the baby?"

"Shhh.. shhh.. she won't stop crying. Can't you hear her?"

"Oh..." He realizes that there's tears running down his face. He's rocking, patting, and patting more, as if desperately trying to soothe her though Logan knew self consciously he was only trying to soothe himself from something.

Call it what you will, but they have come a long way from other destructive ways to self harm then rocking a baby doll. And if Wade wanted to rock his baby then so be it. But it didn't actually look like he *wanted* too rather then was struggling to let go of her. Struggling to put her down.

Ever since he had that damned dream that there was a universe where he had a daughter, his whole train of thought changed completely, now playing papa to cope. Cope with loss that he didn't even know he had, cope with the idea of 'holy shit this is so easy and yet my parents couldn't do it properly... they mustn't have loved me enough'. To cope with the fact that despite having all these kids in class- They would never be his.

Sure, he's snatched up Laura and Gabby faster then Logan even mentioned being their step father, but it wasn't the same. He had the same dream over and over again about a baby girl. HIS baby girl.

Now here he was, half asleep, patting on auto pilot, and crying because his silent babydoll was sobbing in his head, a dream lingering into reality.

"Shhh... shh.. Evelyn please.. go to sleep for papa.. im sorry.. I know.. It'll be okay. You have wolvie. He's kinda like a mama?" He whispers to the toy, whose batteries were taking out ages ago because of an actual cry button that would randomly go off, sending Wade into even worse frenzies.

Recently 'Evelyn' has been having issues on not having a mom and it almost felt.. real.. the way he described her pain. As if the other universe was dipping into theirs. It kind of concerned Logan just how dearly he took care of this doll, carrying around for hours and once even brought her to work.

He'd wrap her up and carry her, bounce her infront of the chalk board, show coworkers his baby, most being extremely puzzled as who let Wade adopt a baby- only to realize that she wasn't a real baby at all. Few, such as Yukio, Rouge, Kurt, and Jean held or bounced the baby as if it were an actual baby.

Rouge at first took her without even realizing, but saw how happy it made Wade and continued, Yukio ofc took her and was extra gentle, Kurt, who was used to sunday school kids handing him random stuffies and babys autimatically began to bounce her. Meanwhile Jean knew it was a doll and took it anyway, complimenting Wade on how beautiful his baby was. "Isn't she!?" He said to her and she smiled.

Later she had said to Logan something about how the baby was improving his mental state- Not alot- but enough to keep him in the 'Sane' category for awhile. She also mentioned how when Rachel was born she would let Wade hold her, despite Logan telling her that was a terrible idea, afraid of what might happen. No, Wade would never hurt a baby on purpose but he was terrified of Wade trying to take someone else's kid or being a bit too rough.

He already saw him drop evelyn twice- and she was hard plastic. He didn't want to imagine what would happen if she hadn't been.

Honestly? It was heart breaking to watch. To see the man he loved so desperate for a child of his own though both agreeing that he wasn't in the right mental state for a baby and probably never would be. He was good with older kids. 5 and up, but new borns and toddlers needed more work then just playing, feeding them once in a while and carrying them around.

The best thing about Evelyn is that he couldn't forget to feed her because she didn't actually need to eat. She couldn't get be kidnapped and held hostage or even killed by people who really didn't like him. She couldn't get hurt if Logan accidentally stabbed her in his sleep.

But sometimes, this play wasn't enough. Sometimes, something in his head just wouldn't let him put her down, wouldn't let 'her' stop crying.

With a pop of his back, Logan sat up with a groan. "Give her here." He put his arms out for his daughter, hard plastic or not. If Wade thought she was theirs, then she was. Oh, well. It's not like it hurt much. If anything, she's helped greatly with his nightmares. This being said, the ones about her though were worse, but Logan would trade one bad dream a week for every night.

Wade gave him the baby, hesitant as Logan started patting. "Shut up little one. Your dads got work in the morning." He muttered to the doll, though Wade looked nervous. "Y-you're not patting her right, and you have to have your hand up-"

"Aye! I can pat her how ever I want. Huh? You like when I pat you?" In reality these questions were more towards Wade, trying to find the correct responses.

"She's still crying. You're being too rough!"

"What? Im patting the exact same way you were."

"Nu uh, that's too hard. You're gonna hurt her!"

Deep down, Logan knew this fear only stemmed from Wade himself being afraid of hurting her, but it still hurt to hear that he thought Logan would hurt the babydoll. (Unlike Mr. Drop her head on a bathroom sink and on concrete).

Grunting, He hands her back, rolling his eyes. "Well then, what does 'she' want?"

"She wants a mom" He whined, nuzzling the doll and kissing her head.

Logan was about to say "shes got a mom," but not really, Vanessa thought she was kinda creepy and only held her when Wade asked but was awkward. This made sense, seeing as she was going to give Wade a baby before things changed. Now that she thought about it, they weren't really in the best of the situation to have a baby back then either. Just.. dumb love, I guess. The fact that whenever she saw him play with kids, it made her hormones explode... (Logan understood this feeling a bit too well around August)

"Evie baby, please! Shhh.. shh. Why are you crying so much?!" These are the parts that worried him, just how frustrated he got with his own head.

"What's all this ruckus? Dont you know what time it is?"

Logan blinked, glancing to his husband. "Why didn't you lock the door?? Carly you need to knock."

"Nonsense. I heard trouble, and where there's trouble, there's Howlie."

"What?" Her logic seemed flawed. Wouldn't she want to stay away from him if he were trouble? Though- then again- were talking about a 86 year old jewish veteran amputee from Poland. Not much scared her. Including walking in on them- which she's done multiple times with little care, gathering laundry and then leaving as if nothing happened.

"... do you think she saw us?"

"Why is there so many clothes on your floor? Who raised you to be like this? Hogs?" She said.

"... I honestly think she dosn't give a fuck."

"I aspire to give that little of a fuck one day." Wade would say.

It made Logan cringe and shiver to think about. Ugh. He couldn't imagine how much she had seen of them and how she would pinch his cheeks not even 10 minutes later. God, she was so.. weird! But even in her wandering mind, he couldn't imagine putting her back in that nursing home. Besides- now Al had someone to be crotchety with and sit on the couch complaining about stuff with. She had even started taking Al with her to Synagogue despite her always saying it was bullshit, She enjoyed the time out of the house.

"So what is problem?" She asks, a hand on her hip, her leg lazily put on in a flowery nightie.

"Evelyn is crying, and it's stressing him out." Logan tells her, still watching as Wade paced and patted her bum.

"She wants her mom but she dosn't have a mom." Wade explained, bouncing a bit more as he shushed her.

"Oooh, let me see. Give me little Eve. I take her." She offers, used to Wade's antics by now. That or she was losing it and thought the doll really was a baby. Either way, Wade looked hesitant again. "Are you sure? J-just don't be too rough. Logan's too rough."

"Snitch." Logan grumbled, giving him a playful fist as if saying 'Snitches get stitches'.

"Come now, D'aawww mój anioł. Did that mean man hurt you? Awww, I know, laleczko. Sheyneh meydeleh." She coes, patting her back gentle enough to satisfy Wade into finally sighing of relief.

"So.. what was wrong with her?" Logan asks, seeing his husband finally settle down and flop himself against the bed in an exhausted "Fmph".

"You ain't got any tits sugar." Carly smiles, innocently. "Babys like busty chests. And that's just what you aint got."

Wade gasped, covering his mouth and giggling. "No way, you just said that. Loagies tits are the best!"

He scoffs, smirking. "At least mine are real."

"Perhaps she prefers plastic over flatness."

Wade then gasped again. "Oh, you did not just say that. Wolvie you gonna let her get away with that?"

Logan let out a snort. "Yeah. Sure. What am I supposed to do? Beat up a grandma?"

"You know, raddish, your papa is quite a coward. Even in war was cowardly. Won't even fight an elderly lady with a missing leg." She says to the doll, leaving to take her back to her room to 'watch' her for the night.

Shaking his head softly, Logan couldn't help but chuckle, feeling young again from the banter. Boot didn't change a bit. And it seems she never would. "No way, I've seen guys get sent to medic way too many times over that leg!"

"If you dont want Boot up your ass, don't talk from it!" She calls, the door clicking.

Giggling, Wade sprawls out in the bed. "Was she always this sassy?"

"Oh, im pretty sure she gets sassier with age.."

"Like good cheese."

"Sure, bub. Like good cheese." Pulling him close, he locks him in his arms, not wanting him up again until their alarm went off in the morning.

".. You're a good dad, Wade." He whispers, nuzzling into him, yawning.

"I love you too, peanut.."

Overprotective (Part 1)

Based off of this post It all came to a head with The Incident™.

You were frustrated, having just left Levi's room. You'd brought him a series that you thought he'd love, it was much more like some of the stuff he used to be into, which had heartbreak and drama, but you'd heard it had a good resolution, even if it was sad. But the second things started turning sour emotionally, he began to panic. And when he asked if you knew what would happen, and you said "I've heard about the ending, but I saved actually knowing it for you", you didn't expect what he did next. He stopped the show and took the DVD out. This started a long fight that you barely understood. Him being upset that you weren't 'taking care of yourself', and you being upset that he was trying to micro-manage what you watched! You even jabbed at him telling him that "Avoiding the sad stuff isn't healthy!" which only made him more upset. You didn't understand why, so you just left. You ran into Asmodeus, who started worrying about the stress you were visibly under. Stress isn't good for one's health. He first asked if you wanted to take a soothing bath with him, which you shrugged off, thinking that would be the end of it. But it wasn't. He kept badgering you to let him help you destress. It started very flirty at first... Until it became desperate. You continued to decline, and he became more worried, which caught Satan's attention. When Satan heard you were stressed out, several stress-related illnesses flashed through his memory and he became very serious trying to give you other options. If anything, their insistence on controlling another aspect of your life was making it worse. You were on the verge of exploding when Belphegor came around. You called out to him, but he turned right around and walked away. You frustratedly chased after him, but when you turned the corner he disappeared behind, he was gone. Instead, you found Mammon. With the shadiest bag of vitamins you've ever seen. No label, just some random supplement in a plastic bag. "You want some vitamins?" The sight would have made you laugh a week ago, but right now, it was just frustrating. "No! I want everyone to stop badgering me! And for Belphegor to stop AVOIDING me!" "Sounds like you could eat. Lemme cook you up something." Mammon was the one who was the best at reaching out. He'd been slyly learning how to cook on the side, so he could get more veggies and fruits into your diet. And the food he's learned to cook was really yummy. Begrudgingly, you accept, and he takes you to the kitchen, also giving Asmo and Satan a covert thumbs up. The two let him take care of you, seeing that your stress instantly began to melt at the idea of food. That is.. Until you got to the kitchen. Mammon begins pulling out veggies and fruit to make you a few dishes, but Beelzebub keeps hovering around to try to control your portions. No matter how much you told him it was insulting, he just couldn't bring himself to stop worrying. Mammon always makes you too much food, seeing as how he keeps trying to pack in the nutrients like they're going to culminate in prolonging your life indefinitely. Once again, you're pissed, and this time with new vigor. You finally storm out of the kitchen and out of the house, only to see Lucifer coming in from the walkway. And he's blinded by how dangerous it is for you to walk around Devildom alone. He tells you as much and you just shout "WELL I HOPE I DIE THEN, BECAUSE IT'D BE BETTER THAN THIS HELLSCAPE" while trying to brush past him in frustration. You didn't even mean the words, but no one had been listening to you and no one was giving you a chance to control anything in your life without supervision. They've been so controlling and so accidentally belittling, making you feel less-than, making you feel like a child in a house without love. Part 2

I may have gone a little overboard 😅 To be honest this tag came around at just the right time! I'd just gotten a new song association and have been working on schoolwork so much that I really needed to do something creative 😆

Originally these were all going to be in similar editing styles (more like Corey's) but somewhere along the way that stopped because I had different ideas that I really wanted to do. Also I cheated a little and a few got more than one song... 🤫

COREY ALTMAN

"Holiday" - Green Day:

This song being here is random song association at its finest. The trail pretty much goes "Holiday" by Green Day > Surf's Up > Beach Vibes > Sulani > Globetrotter Challenge > Corey Song. If that makes sense... 😂 Pretty much, you can blame the Sulani round of the Globetrotter Challenge for it, plus the fact that I feel like it's the type of song/genre Corey would use in his own music.

"Catch Me If You Can" - Set It Off:

Now, it would be a crime to talk about songs and Corey without a song by Set It Off. Corey was created when I was listening to their songs a lot, and it definitely rubbed off on him. From his aesthetic to the songs I imagine him playing, a lot of it came from Set It Off. Even his name was derived from the band's lead singer (although changed from Cody to Corey because that's the route my mind took with it idk). So, this song in particular specifically reminds me of Corey for... Honestly probably obvious reasons 😆 "Catch Me If You Can" was pretty much the theme of his Globetrotter Challenge, where he was constantly moving on the run from the law. A line I really like though for him is the part that says, "I only feel at home when I'm on the run," because I feel like that leads into the deeper aspects of Corey. He really isn't at home anywhere, he's always on the move, even when he's not evading capture anymore. There's a certain non-permanence to everything he does. Something funny about the image itself is that it originally wasn't going to be edited to look like the back cover of a CD. When I took the picture of Corey with the guitar I kind of thought "this looks like the back cover of a CD" and when editing I just needed a way to fill the space at the bottom and it turned into a CD back cover edit 🤣 It actually kind of fits though since both of these songs are the sound I associate with Corey's own music so it worked out in the end.

LIZZY ALTMAN

"Unopened Windows" - Set It Off:

So this one is the context behind this post lol. It's been like two years since I started working on this plotline I have to finish it eventually 😆 Anyway, Lizzy's been teased in many tag games so far, but without a name or much information (note: and this name's not final I'm not sure yet). Here you can probably guess based on the song choice how her story goes 😅 Going back to the epilogue of the Globetrotter Challenge, we see that something is going on, and it leads to Lizzy and her dad being separated. So, the entire song lyrically I really felt spoke to them and their situation (more in a future gameplay 😉). Bonus points for it being a Set It Off song, who I associate with Corey, and thought music could have been something that they bonded over and enjoyed together. I have a few things to say about the image itself because it was a struggle but I looooove how it turned out! It turned out essentially how I imagined it with Lizzy playing guitar in the foreground with a sort of memory of her time with her dad in the background. I probably had about five or six different poses that I put in the background because I couldn't decide which one I liked the best 😆 This was the last image I had to work on out of the four, and I was having trouble with how I wanted the song title to look. While I was browsing for overlays and stuff I came across a lot of cutout style poems and ended up adding in some of the lyrics because I thought it would help explain the concept behind the image. In the end this one is one of my favorites which is unbelievable considering how much I thought it was not going to turn out like I imagined 🥰

"Little Chaos" - Orla Gartland:

In a wonderfully serendipitous coincidence, this was the song association I was very into when getting tagged, and was already planning what became this edit! I rarely have song associations for sims/sims stories (despite how many ended up coming together here) so that's why I'll never get over how well timed this all was (thanks again elderwisp!!) On to the song, it has to do with my upcoming gameplay story centered around the For Rent game pack, and starring the pictured sim (who doesn't have a name yet sorry! 😅). She's going through a bit of a tough time where she's very lost and I thought the lines, "And it's a good day for a meltdown. All my thoughts getting too loud," fit really where she's at, especially at the start. Plus, the vibes are perfect. The image itself was inspired by the song's MV and one part in particular, but it looks a lot different now (I was limited by the poses I could find because I refuse to sit down and learn to make my own yet). I liked this idea of the torn pages framing the image, especially because it plays into the plot, which sees the main character do a lot of journaling throughout the story. So, the lined paper had to do with that, and it doubled as being good for making the letters stand out, which I wanted to be big and misaligned to be more "chaotic," though I think that could have been done more/better. Aaaaand the background is a picture of Tomarang, where the story takes place. To be honest this will probably be the cover image once I finalize a name and get started on playing it 😉

GHOST COWBOY

"Ferryman" - Schafer James and Will Wood:

I've actually been having a lot of fun with this character since initially creating him back before the Horse Ranch pack came out (more on him coming out in a few days for the outlaw challenge 😉). So this song.... The entire concept of our ghost cowboy is that he, being somewhat half dead and half alive, winds up being a good source of convincing "unwilling souls" to cross over, and works with the character Death to do so in exchange for finding out why he's not entirely dead. I'll explain it better another time, but I also really love this song and just thought that the concept of the ferryman and the ghost cowboy as ferriers of the dead.

"Toss A Coin To Your Witcher (Epic Version)" - Samuel Kim and Black Gryph0n:

Liiiiisten... My family made me watch three seasons of The Witcher I had to get something out of it 😆 I joke a lot that this character gives off Geralt vibes but honestly they are definitely super similar just based on their overall aesthetic and horse companions. I wanted to be special though and chose this epic cover instead of the original... Just for fun 😁 There were some cool piano covers too that almost made the cut. This is probably a good place to talk about the actual image (yay!). I hope the visibility on it isn't too bad because it ended up waaaay more cluttered than I originally intended, plus the mist effect definitely makes it harder to see the characters. I made his (also unnamed) horse a little more transparent to try and give off this ghostly see through effect so I hope that comes through. The font isn't the kind of "wild west wanted sign" font that I wanted, but I think it's close enough lol.

So Psycho!Noah would definitely do something like play the Knife Game, right? It was popular enough around the time, and does fulfill his thrill seeking needs.

And hey, he can even use it to prove to others that he's willing to make things fair. He'll threaten his own safety AS WELL as everyone else's!

(He'd most likely just do it for unnerving others as per usual, but I think it's still interesting to think if he'd genuinely think this would work.)

Psycho!Noah would absolutely play the Knife Game!

Something dangerous and 'luck' based, that puts his own (and other's, potentially) wellbeing at risk, AND it involves sharp objects? It's practically designed to pique his interests! His constant quest for excitement/thrill-seeking would make him a very big fan of things like the Knife Game.

As for proving his fairness; Noah, in his infinite wisdom, would think it'd be a display of fairness and goodwill, but everyone around him just sees it as him being unhinged enough to gamble his own safety in his hunger for violence... which isn't exactly untrue, though it's a heavily exacerbated interpretation of just how stab-happy he is (which he intentionally cultivated, so...).

He could probably rope Duncan into playing with him, by poking at his pride as a "fellow knife haver" by claiming that, for someone who's constantly threatening to stab people, Noah's never seen him actually use a knife for anything but woodcarving. Saying that, he could potentially rope about half of the remaining cast into playing with him just by insulting their egos; Heather, Courtney and Alejandro would never take a challenge to their capabilities sitting down, so they'd join in just to prove how 'skilled' they are.

Now, I want you to imagine the following scenario with me: Noah's hoped the above competitors into playing the Knife Game with him. They all started out trepidly, but as the game continued their respective competitiveness won out over their rational thinking, an they're all pretty invested in the game.

Then Noah kicks it up a notch by speeding up his stabbing tempo.

Slice!

A finger comes straight off, followed immediately by a gushing fountain of blood. Everyone starts screaming, panicking like headless (and in one case fingerless) chickens, whilst Noah's laughing manically to himself as his hand continues to pour litres of blood onto the floor and table, dying everything around him a sticky crimson.

Thanks to her CIT training, Courtney's the most clear-headed in the situation and barks out for someone to retrieve Noah's discarded finger, intending to preserve it for an emergency reattachment. She rushes over to Noah's side, momentarily forgetting her misgivings about getting so close to him, and tries to stop the bleeding by putting pressure on his finger stub.

But. His hand. It's... rubber?

Noah pulls his real arm out of the fake, rubber prosthetic he'd worn over it, waggling his perfectly fine fingers (coated in that same viscous scarlet) to his competitors with a grin.

A beat of silence. Then, outrage.

I know this shit is long as hell and you probably won't answer since you have so many asks but I just wanted to say I found a backstory for Cody(X-Virus) for your AU!!!

It's not as creative as your ideas but I tried to do something original and meaningful for him. He deserves more love and recognation.

Cody never got adopted by a scientist, instead, he lived in an orphanage where he constantly got bullied. The reason for this situation was just straightly absurd. He just couldn't understand peoples and their emotions like other kids because of his lack of emphaty.

That's why he focused on academic knowledge rather than human relationships. Because mathmetical problems were easier for him compared to comforting a crying person.

Cody always was a succesful and smart kid so he could easily pass his exams in middle and high school. Because of that, in high school, he didn't bother to focus over boring topics like his daily lessons anymore.

No, he focused on more complicated science fields such as quantum physics, anatomy and organic chemistry.

Of course Cody couldn't understand everything he read easily, that's why he spend hours and hours on studying and having countless nights without any sleep. He read articles and textbooks, he watched professors' lectures on youtube, he tried to solve problems on his own and more.

Overworking on university lessons was not a good way for socialising, he got more and more isolated and the bullying was increased.

In last year of high school, he was worried because of the fact that he needed to win a success scholarship for all the cool topics he worked over, moreover, for a diploma. He could easily go to a college, however, he wanted the best of them. Because only the best could satisfy his hunger for research and true knowledge.

Cody was also confused about choosing which major to pick and he was stressing about this topic all the time. So many good fields were lying ahead him but he could only choose one of them and he wasn't sure which one is the one he wanted to dedicate his entire life. What if he would made a mistake and regret for his lost years for the rest of his living?

So yes, this was a very overwhelming decision for Cody. Since he was anxious all the time and he was going through a serious depressive episode, he decided to give a shot to the Chernobyl school trip in his school.

Obviously it was not like they really went inside of the nuclear powerplant since most of them weren't even over 18 years old. More like they wandered around the places in Ukraine which were close to the powerplant(Chernobyl City) and they visited some important museums.

But this was not enough for Cody.

He wanted to see the inside of the powerplant. He wanted to learn more details about behind the scenes. He wanted to see the deformed bodies. He to carry out experiments on dead humans who got affected by the radiation.

That's why he stole a gas mask and sneak out to the powerplant while everyone else was sleeping in a hotel.

He was truly breathless because of what he witnessed.

That's when he decided to became a chemistry engineer.

Of course he they got him and he took a huge punishment which caused to screw his school life.

Even though he got a really high score in his university acceptance exam, his applys were rejected by all the big schools he dreamed about. He got so, so upset about this that he even wanted to kill himself rather than living as a worthless piece of shit.

While he was rolling in thoughts of negativity, a teacher who respected Cody's success wrote a reference letter for him to an school.

The school decided to accept Cody with a few conditions. This school was not as big and as fancy as other schools he wanted but it was still better than what he could aford without that reference later. So he immediatly accepted this offer and thanked his teacher.

He did not became a chemistry engineer.

He majored in psychology which provided him the chance to do some different kind of experiments on mental health hospital residents.

He did a double major in chemistry, not in chemistry engineering.

But he's mostly using all his time for psychlogical experiments over chemical experiments. Sometimes he uses chemistry too for topics like neurotransmitter matters and the structure of hormones.

He's mostly a psychologist who you not want to cross and he works in mental health hospitals. He mostly manipulates his patients for doing something morally grey or hurtful for them either mentally or physically.

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVE characters like this. who lean into math and science because they just cant grasp all of the wishy washy of emotion and that kinda stuff. characters who like clear, linear paths with rules and whatnot. i think its really interesting way to try to define a character

i love how much you focus on his desire for knowledge. i think its cool when someone CRAVES for intelligence, they want to learn, they wanna know everything they possibly can - and i think its especially interesting when that turns into scary, morbid curiosity

and i fucking love how scary it is that he decided to go snooping around during his Chernobyl trip. it just sounds like a really unsettling turn of events and i think is such a creative, yet creepy, take on what made such a big shift. going from a kinda awkward, focused, troubled kid to someone who is willing to hurt and sacrifice people for his own morbid curiosity. SUPER SCARY

and i like that he still couldnt get what he wanted. i like that he still got stuck doing smth that didnt truly appease any scary urges he had, and that he has to do his freaky killer stuff in a roundabout way by manipulating his patients

would be interesting to see if any other creeps could perhaps be his patient . . .

(tw gore, head trauma, injury mention) thinking about daisuke's death and how Swansea did not hold back in letting that axe fall into his skull and how lots of fanart depicts Daisuke with a long cut along his face which isn't incorrect but thinking about the force of that swing and the weight of that acts and how pendulums are most powerful at the middle of their swing and gravity and so on

His fucking skull would have caved in and crushed his brain, genuinely killing him instantly

It'd be so gross to draw and even more awful to find references off but it would be accurate! And all the more heartbreaking, he literally got destroyed
