Why must one make tea in a teapot? Is it not enought to boil some water in a jezve and put a small plate on top?

And sense I just make one to two cups at a time its like really unnecessary#but I wanna know the logic behind it#i am totally fine with someone explaining it to me. I also have nothing against the french press its just that I dont own or need one#i know most people down use teapot btw#we msotly use teabags but you watch a video or 20 on teamaking and read a bunch online and you learn nothing baout why teapots#its just assumed to be the more advanced go to teamaking but I dont really get why#like the only thing about teapots is presentation#but then why steap the tea in one teapot and then pour it into another#is it tealeaf staining? I mean my uhm. smol pot doesnt really get stained from the tea? So why not just steep it in the thing you boil the#water in? Like why not? Im just very curious#it does not matter if the reason is like kinda dumb or just a tradition Im just unhealthily curious about everything and would like to know
