I think the most tragic thing about kyle/yukina is that like... they went through so much together but yukina could never actually compete with michaela (especially if we take the soul of adam as canon). Michaela was kyle's first true love and she got killed when she was young and she'd always be the shadow that kyle will be chasing for the rest of his life. And yukina couldn't help but feel jealous. Kyle was her father's best friend. They have known each other for all their lives. They live together. So why kyle is more in love with michaela than her? But even thinking about it would make her feel extremely guilty because she knew michaela she was her nanny she was her friend she was clarith's love and she got brutally murdered, and specifically because of that she'll stay encapsuled in this glass dome where she'll forever be young and beautiful and perfect, while she is an intruder to a tragic and deep fairytale. Yukina however, is not a weak willed woman. She never cared about breaking rules, be it those of countries or those of love, so she'll continue fighting, while yet never being able to win, because you can't kill a ghost
