It saddens me that we can turn our backs on a person without caring how it can effect them.

Kat did the right thing by leaving and not allowing herself to be hated but it's sad that this has to happen. The LAES(TSBS community in general)community is unfortunately INCREDIBLY toxic when it comes to women or female characters.

I've been a fan of Kat for many years(before the SAMS or LAES) and seeing people hate on her for her VA work or writing is just depressing. I hope this community can learn that the VAs and writers behind these shows are STILL PEOPLE.

Queen Kat Productions,

A situation has been blowing up recently regarding Kat and her writing for the Lunar and Earth Show. I'm here to offer biased opinions, a short summary of what occurred, and sources so that people may gain their own perspectives.

I'm aware, I said I wouldn't get into drama on my blog, but this isn't drama to me. This is a serious issue with the fandom that I've had for a long time and am choosing to discuss and address it of my own volition. You do not have to read this! You are under no obligation to read this, skip it if you don't want to hear it.

Summary;

Kat, or Queen Kat Productions, is a YouTuber and Creative Content Creator. She voices Acts and Roleplays characters for several different channels and projects.

Most notably (because this is the project most people know her from, sadly) The Lunar And Earth Show and The Sun And Moon Show, all of which are shows under The Security Breach Shows universe, a Five Nights At Freddy's derived series hosted on YouTube.

She has recently been aggressively "criticized," mocked, and berated by the majority of the LAES/SAMS community because of her writing decisions and how she plays her characters, namely Earth.

My own Opinions and Thoughts;

This issue is not uncommon in the TSBS community, this hasn't changed for the 2-3 years I've been within this community and it isn't ending anytime soon. I used to moderate for the Discord server for many years, so I feel I have a good point of reference for how egregious some people can be within this space.

Many believe it to be purely from a place of internalized misogyny and while I do not disagree with that point, I do want to highlight how one can still be a dick and not be a misogynist. Just because you don't hate women doesn't mean you cannot be contributing to the problem. Do not try to exempt yourself because this is one of the only arguments being made. If you are responsible, you are a part of the criticism against the accusations being made towards Kat. Misogynist or not.

A lot of hate towards feminine and feminine presenting (or just straight-up women) characters has not been a suddenly occurring issue out of the blue. This has existed for the entirety of the show's runtime.

But allow me to run you through some of my main issues with the current situation and previous unresolved issues;

Many minor (as in, under 18) characters, such as Cassie, have been called whores and harlots purely for being 'annoying' or 'clingy' or 'cringe'. None of which is appropriate to say about or towards minors. I get it, they're fictional characters, not real people but take a moment to consider what those words mean (I have linked definitions to the words for you). Why would you imply that a minor is a prostitute? You can say what you want about adults, but it is completely disgusting and inappropriate to say such about minors, I don't care if you're joking. If you are a minor yourself and saying such horrific things, please do not do this. I won't berate you but your age does not excuse it, please take this as a learning moment.

The feminine presenting and female characters are not without criticism, nothing is without criticism. We are not saying you cannot have issues with the characters, the writing, the voice acting, the body acting, the handling of this or that- that's not the problem. The issue comes in when the only people you're taking issue with are the feminine characters and excuse the masculine characters who have, undoubtedly, done far worse than the feminine characters have. As Kat and Davis (and others) have addressed, yes, this show is set up to be able to go on forever so some horrific acts have to be brushed away to continue with the videos. But these issues should not be glorified and coddled outside of the universe and swept under the rug. It'd like a cartoon after they beat the shit out of someone with a piano. The number of people I've seen literally glorify BloodMoons thrill killing but cannot excuse Earth liking Barbie is insane. (as an example, not a direct reflection of everyone's issues or beliefs within this situation). If you have issues regarding internalized misogyny, that is okay. Having internalized discrimination issues is common and can be improved, it is not the end of your rope. You can come back from it and learn to get better. It takes time and effort, but please do not trap yourself in the mentality of this discrimination because you're scared of backlash for having these thoughts and viewpoints to begin with.

Some of it comes from a place of existing distaste for TSBS and while it's okay to be angry, upset, or dislike something, it is unhealthy for you to dwell on something that is causing you distress, broiling anger, or triggers you. I genuinely worry for the health of those who cling to these shows and outlet their frustrations onto it in an unhealthy manner. It's again, okay to have criticisms, not like an arc, not like a character, etc.. but it isn't okay to harass the people behind its production because you dislike this or that. It's not okay to harass people regardless but you know what I mean. You can critique anything you want, but it becomes to much when you begin to insult it or the person behind it. That's beyond unkind. Genuine criticism comes from a place of wanting the thing to improve and watch it grow, not to cancel and sink it.

BUT that's just a few of my standpoint thus far. Subject to change. If it wasn't made obvious, I support Kat through this, I support the VAs and I support the Discord Mods, who are most likely at least irritated by this whole debacle.

The VAs have been getting shit for as long as I've volunteered there. There would be fans who would pout when they couldn't get into direct contact or speak to them in the server because they didn't show up but once in a blue moon. Even back then I recognized why that was.

One of the ways we viewed Moderating back in my day was, and I quote, "bodyguards for the VAs" (if they spoke in public chats) so that they didn't feel crowded or overwhelmed so they knew they were supported and could interact comfortably.

They were taking care of their own health, even if it seemed "detached" for it. I'm very proud of Kat and Flora and Mario and any VA who interacts with the community even remotely. And I'm just as proud of those who don't like. No one deserves the shit they go through.

It hurt my heart to hear Kat had been crying and to hear her cry on stream. I have been in tears several times over Moderating for TSBS because of how awful things can be. It hurts to see such a wonderful woman's heart get torn apart like that.

So I'm sorry, but if you don't support Kat, this blog may not be for you. You can do what you want I'm not gonna yell DNI Kat Haters, but this won't be another space for you to indulge in your anger.

I was absolutely destroyed when I heard about what was happening regarding all the hate being sent towards Earth, and more importantly, all the hate that was being sent to the voice actress herself.

Her work holds a very special place in my heart, especially the LAES, Vampire’s Bride, and Osto & Derpy. She puts a lot of love and effort into each and every series she’s apart of and it’s shown by how good all of them are. She should be treated like an actual human being, not be treated like how some people would treat her characters.

I hope the future treats her well and something like this never happens again. We love you Kat! ❤️

Quick TLDR so that you can see if one of these is a dealbreaker:

Soft due date July 30 (want to get this out ASAP as the torch gets passed soon it sounds like!)

Sections range from 3-8 seconds long (most are 7), and there are a good number of instrumental parts

Moon on the other hand would absolutely just wrap them in a blanket burrito and use the opportunity to fix Y/N's sleeping schedule a little bit.

Eclipse is just freaking out because they do NOT know what to do 💔

Demon trio AU- They would all fight over Y/N and whoever wins gets their first turn on cuddling with Y/N.

Shapeshifters duo AU- Sun would become small with Y/N and start a ridiculously long adventure for nothing

Moon would smother Y/N in affection, cuz obviously it's by instinct 👏

Eclipse (if it was to be around, cuz it's been gone for a long time), it would absolutely like to toy with Y/N and trick them, making them believe it wants to eat them or hurt them, or anything believable enough it can come up with.

Statues & Angels lost to time (OLDEST AU ever made)- Sunny would definitely snuggle with Y/N cuz he's been touch starved for a LONG time<33

Moon would be hesitant at first to approach you, because he thinks it has something to do with the building's curses and dark aura. But he'll reluctantly agree to hold you.

Eclipse- Oh boy.... he has a lot of things in mind. But for OGs that know this AU or for friends, y'all can guess...

Perhaps another time, on a sunny day AU(the one AU where it's Y/N deciding to save all the ruin animatronics and live with them, again, another older AU. Happens after the escape from the Pizza Plex)- Sunny would be over Y/N the moment he sees them, and would be sobbing as much as a broken machine can and asking Y/N almost incomprehensible sentences with no sense whatsoever.

Moon would pretty much just have a sleepover during the middle of the day with Y/N in a pillow fort, cuz why not!!

Eclipse would take the utmost care of Y/N, treating Y/N like the most important thing he's had to do. He will also try his best not to scratch them cuz yeah, the body hasn't been fixed yet</3

Seas, and otherwise, fishes for you AU (big fish AU. The one I told pooks ( @st4rryk1tten ) about :3)- Sun would definitely be scared when he comes from underwater, surfacing, only to find you as such a small, fragile doll instead of your human vessel that he got used to seeing. After he'd calm down, he'll swim out of sight of the open beachside and take care of Y/N in a more private place. (Yes that includes smooching the fish)

Moon on the other hand, would be a little confused, especially given the time of day it is. But when he acknowledges it's Y/N, he simply takes Y/N and does just about the same as Sun. (Except he's more eager for kisses and smooches. He's a very affectionate fish<33)

Eclipse (haven't decided what they'll be or if they'll even appear) will be a little more confident and immediately recognize Y/N, taking them before they get seen together, given their humongous size.

Other then these, I just have a lot of random AUs I absolutely forgot about, but I think you got the idea 👏

After reading @psychiccatpanda‘s amazing   Morguna and the Green Queen, I  got the itch to explore the Soldier’s POV and talked  Faustie into   collab’ing with me!  We’re working on a new part of the series, and I’ve  contributed about 900 words towards the  2500-ish we have so far.   Going to see if I can squeeze any of my BBB squares into this fic.

Signed up for a 3x3 card for this all fandoms, no minimums bingo event  (@julybreakbingo ) because of course I need more prompts!   😁😬  I’m aiming for a blackout with three fills and four WIPs with another idea or two to work on.  I’m playing a bit fast and loose with a few prompts, but I hope y’all enjoy anyways!

* A3  -  Word: Advantage or Antonyms -- Flling this with Chapter 3 of A Sugar-Coated Pill  (WinterIron Omegaverse Sugar Daddy AU) which is coming in at 1341 words and will post on 7/21.  It’s crossing over with my HBE "How Did You Meet?” + High Stakes Op  and  TSTOT  Omegaverse  prompts, along with  my WIB AU: A/B/O square.  Bucky and Tony continue to make a good team, then sugar baby!Tony asks Bucky for a favor.

* B1 - Location: Train Tracks -  combining this with my BBB  Never the Fall that Kills You  square for  an angsty  Winter Soldier fic  - it’s sitting at 104 words and fighting me a bit at the moment. 😬

* B2 - FREE --  Will probably combine with this or next week’s Flash Fiction Friday. 

* B3 - Pining/Longing/Being Needy -  filling this with Chapter 4 of A Sugar-Coated Pill  where Bucky has a bit of a problem, and Tony offers to help.  It’s crossing over with HBS Week Nine (”Where do you want me?” + In My Lap), and ACB Mate-Induced Heat  - the chapter is coming in at 1395 words and will post on 7/28.

Week Twelve - “Who’s My ___”+ Good Boy -  probably will fit with the future Chapter Four of Finding Something Fresh  - crossing over with SVB  Tied to A Bed.    This chapter would post either 8/18 or 8/23

Week Thirteen -  FREE WEEK -  “Bossy” and “Bondage” are two suggested prompts - I can probably do something with either/both of these. 😁

I have eleven fills completed and two WIPs for this brand-new bingo event that I’m helping mod!  Along with crossfilling against my other bingos,  I’m going to try to combine my B column squares for the Iron Soldier badge (complete a bingo with a single work). – Alpha Tony Stark, “That was not my intention.”, James Rhodes, Alpine loves Tony and Blind date.   (Tony POV remix of A Sugar Coated Pill?)

* I2 - AU:A/B/O - will pull this into Chapter 3 of   A Sugar-Coated Pill  - see JBB  Word: Advantage or Antonyms  

* N1 - Bucharest –  I think I can fold this into a future chapter of My Love is Vengeance -  where a young!Tony and a recovering!Bucky have been kidnapped by Hydra, who still thinks Bucky is the Soldier.  

* G2 - Eye contact during sex -  will be working this into Chapter 5 of   A Sugar-Coated Pill, where our boys finally get down to business.   It’s up to 671 words and will post sometime in August. 

* G4 - AU: College Students – looking to expand Beaten to the Punch with some backstory on Bucky and Tony as science camp counselors to fit with this square - will also cross over with my WFB  Volunteering Together square.  

* O5 - Gentle – use this poem  as inspiration?

* July Adoptable: “What happened to you?”  I may browse through some whump prompts for this & see what vibes with my BBB & TSB bingos.

I’ve got  nine fills,  four WIPs,   and a couple more Vague ideas.

* B4 - Shapeshifters -  wrote . A Shift in Their Relationship as a crossover with the WI_PPP prompt Dragons are Gay.  This came in at 404 words and will be posted to Ao3 before this event is over.

* U3 - Fireplace -  see TSTOT Love Letters above

* C2 - Yelena Belova–   The plan is to use this prompt in the next chapter of Peresmešnik,  (aka Three Avengers and a Baby), which is currently sitting at 1100 words (400-ish of which are mine).  

* C5 - Marriage of Convenience/Pretend Couple -  next chapter of   Lady Natasha’s Consort and Lord Steve’s Companion.    Not quite sure where to take this next at the moment.  😕

* R5 - Doppelganger/Evil Twins -  this will probably cross over with my Stony AUniverse AU: Crack square as I have a semi-silly idea for it, inspired by seeing a T shirt of mine in a mirror.

On  other creative fronts:  I have a Din Grogu Stuffed With Character figure in progress for an upcoming con.  I will be making an announcement about commissions sometime in July so if  you’re looking for one of a kind gifts for birthdays or other celebrations, check  out Stuffed With Character    over on Facebook for a full list of my designs (now over 100!).   These soft stuffed figures are  mostly Marvel and monsters, but I have some Star Wars, Star Trek, DC   and Disney figures as well. who's your hololive fave? your bio mentions holoEN and now im curious...

i actually don’t watch HoloEN as much as NijiEN, buuut i’m mostly fond of HoloCouncilRYS as a whole!! i just love their whole found family-esque dynamic they have going on, along with some chaos that they bring up every now and then!

i also watch their clips individually, buuut i’m not so sure on who’s my fave rn, so i’m clumping them all together haha— 😅

i also watched quite a bit of HoloTempus, particularly Team SnakeBite (Altare & Axel w/ Selen Tatsuki & Nocturnal) and mayyybe a lil’ bit Hakka thrown in there??

for TSB, their dynamic & banter is off the fkin charts from the somewhat few clips i’ve watched! i wasn’t there for the WHOLE thing, but it’s rly good from what i’ve seen

as for Hakka, i ALSO haven’t seen a lot abt him, other than a few clips with his mom and one where Sr Pelo reacts to him…

i’ve also heard that he’s kinda like Ike Eveland on the, er, metal department, so there’s that ig

as for my individual faves/oshis, i’d say that Kiwawa would be 1st place, with Ina trailing on 2nd. Hakka is an honorable mention, however

if the clips from the January 2023 off-collab were like a Wile E. Coyote trap going straight into the rabbit-hole, then the clips of Kiara talking to the HoloJP ppl were like the path with signs leading into said trap. i actually didn’t suspect much, but seeing her vibing & having fun w/ the main branch (along with subtitles being a constant in those clips) is quite nice to see in my recommended :)

even after falling into the rabbit hole, it just brightened up my mood when i found out that Pomu & Kiara were fans of each other! seeing clips of their vr collab, as well as those of their collabs with Rosemi & Nina, just made my heart a bit fuller tbh

also her aggressively gay moments are kinda based imo—

I'm rewriting The Nutcracker And The Silver Bell without Kate.

Kate and I have recently disbanded and now I am left with my characters and my original story. For those who purchased Poems of The Forgotten Past, it will be the only collab me and Kate ever do.

I'm sorry to say but from this day forward, I am to work on my own content.

I need to learn from my ways and take the advice from others that will help me on the journey ahead.

Also, starting on September 5th, I will be taking a hiatus from Tumblr to reflect on personal stuff.
