Note
Just found your writing and I am obsessed! I loved your "Mother Knows Best" work! I thought a similar one with Shinsou Hitoshi would be funny, except it's like Aizawa and Eri trying to play the wingman/woman/child, I'm a sucker for the EraserMic family to be honest! Sorry if this is too specific, have a nice day xx
Little Bird (Shinsou x Reader)
I know its been a very long while since I’ve posted anything, I am in a bit of a rut and haven’t written in months but I was able to get a little bit of inspiration today!
In the meantime, requests are open and this was crossposted to my AO3.
(g/n reader, gender is not specified)

“Your cheeks are red.” “I’m just cold, it’s fine.” Hitoshi grumbled, shuffling Eri in his arms to knock his free hand against the door of the Class 1A dormhouse. Eri looked down at her sweater before shyly back up at Hitoshi with her wide eyes. “Do you want my sweater?” He held back a snort at the thought before shaking his head. “I think I’ll be fine, thank you though.” A small hum left her, and he shuffled her in his arms slightly. It was a miracle to Shinsou how far Eri had come under Aizawa’s watch. She used to be terrified of Hitoshi at the beginning, not that he blamed her.
And funnily enough, now she seemed to prefer him over Mirio or Izuku.
The door opened to reveal Izuku, Uraraka, and Tsuyu with wide smiles. “Eri! I’m so glad to see you again!” At the sound of Deku’s voice, Eri’s grip on Hitoshi’s shirt instantly tightened.
Here we go again.
“Eri, you gotta let go, I have to go practice with Aizawa.” “I can go with you, please?” Sighing through his nose, he shook his head. “C’mon, what if I drop by the store and get some apples?” She seemed to ponder it for a second, before shaking her head. This little clingy stage she was going through was simultaneously his most and least favorite.
“Well aren’t you a good big brother?”
He immediately stiffened at the cooing that came from behind the trio, your voice making his cheeks burn slightly. “Hitoshi and Mr. Aizawa took me to the park, and he pushed me on the swings. I went so high, it was fun!” Eri grinned, the feeling of your eyes focused intently on him made him cringe.
But then again, your attention on him didn’t feel terrible. He hadn’t felt this watched since the sports festival, with all the audience and cameras watching him— even then that did seem less stressful than your eyes focused on him.
“Toshi, you’re red again.” Eri innocently mentioned, patting his cheeks slightly. Taking advantage of the distraction, he quickly set her down with a sigh before crouching down to her level. “I’ll pick you up in a couple of hours. Get Midoriya to call if anything happens, okay?” She immediately nodded with a smile.
“Aw c’mon Shinsou, do you not trust us?” Your smile was bright as your fingers combed through Eri’s hair gently, and until that moment he’d never been this jealous over a child. “I know better than to trust you guys, don’t get her into any trouble.” He kept his voice flat despite the anxiousness in his chest. “I’ll make sure she stays out of trouble.” Reluctantly he nodded, getting up from his crouch, nudging Eri inside.
“Don’t forget my apples!” He sighed, smiling slightly as the door shut in front of him. Eri really had come so far these last few months, already becoming much more vocal with her wants than she had ever been since he’d met her.
If only he could be the same.
Practice was brutal: hand to hand combat was never his favorite and Aizawa was definitely exploiting his lack of speed. With practice and running off campus to get the promised fruit, the sun was already setting and the only sound was the buzzing of the lights.
UA was peaceful for once, his mind itself was peaceful for once. He’d been promised his spot in the hero course, he had a mentor teaching him, and he had Eri to bring some brightness in his life. Then again, it wasn’t quite everything he wanted.
Everything he was wanting was sitting right there on the steps of the 1A dormhouse, holding onto a sleeping Eri tightly.
“You two should be inside, you know better L/n.” He hoped his voice hid the excitement he felt as you stood up, his arms instantly taking Eri into his own arms, her head resting on his shoulders. “Well I would have waited inside, but you were running late and she got worried about you.” He softened ever so slightly, a grunt leaving him in acknowledgment. “So why is it you out here instead of Midoriya?” “Would it be bad to say I wanted to see you?” That got the flush back on his face and neck, mouth pressed into a thin line at that.
Would it be so bad if he liked that answer? Would it be bad to say he wanted to see you as well?
“Do what you want, I have to get Eri home.” He regretted the words as soon as he said them, but they didn’t seem to deter you all that much— seeing as you were already following right behind him as he started to make his way to the teachers’ dorms. “I’ll come with!” Was everyone in 1A this friendly?
Of course, he didn’t mind it all too much when it was you tagging along with him.
A comfortable silence washed over the two of you, the only interruption being the sound of Eri’s quiet snoring as she snoozed away. Footsteps on the concrete and the light breeze rolling in only made his inner anxieties quell. “You know… Eri really adores you, you’re all she’d talk about today.” You hummed, eyes darting over to take in the sight of Shinsou holding the girl he practically thought of as a little sister. If you’d known better, it almost seemed like he was taking on a more fatherly role than just a caretaker.
“She’s not good at keeping secrets you know.” You cheekily added, making him nearly stop in his tracks. He had no secrets, or at least no secrets that he’d told Eri. His own eyes glanced at you quickly before focusing back on the path before him. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He lamely mumbled, ignoring the feeling of you watching him.
“Well… a little bird told me that you like it when I’m around, and that’s the reason you drop her off every Sunday.” Hitoshi grimaced, in hindsight maybe he shouldn’t have always jumped at the opportunity to go to the 1A dorms, and he especially should have hidden it more from Eri.
But he didn’t, and now he had two options: tell the truth, or ruin any chance he had with you.
“What about it?” He could feel the grin on your face, your hand carefully linking around his arm as to not interrupt his hold on Eri. “I like spending time with you too Shinsou.” His corner of his lips quirked up slightly as your body pressed into his side.
“Good to know.”
Being late was worth the scolding he’d gotten from Aizawa.

Unwanted Devotion
Yandere Erasermic x Reader
Warnings of yandere and obsessive themes, and kidnapping (like usual)
I was resting in the cat cafe with my best friend, Adara. She loves cats almost as much as me, and they seem rather fond of us too. I scratched the chin of a long-haired Bombay. Its fur was extremely soft and silky to the touch. They take really good care of the cats here. I should know from working here before. Adara laughed as the tail of a white Persian swiped across her nose. It was a peaceful silence between us otherwise.
“So, anyway, have you got anyone to date yet?” She asked, suddenly speaking up. Why did this have to come up? “Eh, only once, but it didn’t last long since he liked someone better.”
“Ouch. Well, definitely plenty of fish in the sea, huh?” I sighed. “Yeah, but that isn’t really the main focus right now. I can focus on that after my job starts to pay me more. Barely scraping by, but they’re giving me a raise hopefully next week.”
“That’s not a wrong thing to do.” I rolled my eyes at her. “Says the one married to a rich man already.”
“Once again, true.” The bell opened to two men entering. They seem slightly familiar. Adara seemed to recognize them before I did. “No way! Is that Hizashi and Shouta!?” I knew she was about to yell out to them. I tried to stop her by covering her mouth, but she leaned away right before. “Hey, Hizashi! Shouta! Is it really you two!?” Her yelling caused the two of them to turn their heads into our direction. A face of annoyance came over the one with the long black hair. It perked up a bit when he and I locked eyes.
It didn’t take long for the two of them to come to our table, especially seeing the two cats with us. The Bombay of which decided to rest in front of me on the table. That seemed to grab Shouta’s attention. It just looked at him while purring contentedly.  He seemed rather surprised. It could be this one doesn’t like many people. Adara sat next to me for the other seat to be empty for the two of them.
“It’s been AGES guys! We really should have kept better touch! How have the two of ya been!?” As hyper as ever Hizashi exclaimed. It startled the Bombay, making their fur puff up, but they still didn’t move.
Adara nodded. “Yeah, it’s been way too long. Surprised to see you guys here. The two of you have been rather busy, huh? being heroes AND teachers now.”
Wait… what? “Wait… they’re teachers now?” She nodded. “Yep. They actually have been for a few years already!” My eyes widened in surprise. “Hah, wow, never expected you to become a teacher Shouta!” He kept his ever so stoic expression. I do however have a growing interest in how he got that scar on his face. Something tells me it might be a touchy subject though, so no bringing it up.
A cream-colored Persian went into Shouta’s lap, instantly getting his black outfit full of bright long specks. He didn’t seem to care in the slightest, and it made Hizashi chuckle at him. Hizashi grabbed Shouta’s free hand closest to him and interlocked their fingers. An odd sense of sadness came over me, but there was also happiness as well. Shouta seemed to be looking around making sure no one else saw. It wasn’t very busy considering it was night and had less than half an hour before closing.
It reminds me that I used to like both a while ago. Of course, now that's definitely off the table. It’s great they stuck towards their heroic desires though. I had to give up from not being able to intern. Same with Adara. Shouta saw where my sight was aimed and tried to pull his hand from Hizashi. “No worries! We can keep it a secret!” Adara piped up.
I smirked at her and looked at them. “What secret?.” She smirks back and that seems to ease Shouta. “Ya should have told me you quit working here! I was tryin’ to find ya months ago! I asked your co-workers when you worked so I could drop by. They refused to tell me!”
“Well, think about it. They probably thought you might have been a stalker or something. You’re not as recognizable without your hair up.” He thought for a moment and nodded. “Ya got me there!”
“Still, really bummed they didn’t even tell me someone was asking for me. We could have met so much sooner!”
“You’re tellin’ me! Well, don’t stop now! Give me your number!”
I laughed at his enthusiasm and gladly gave it to him. He almost too eagerly put my number into his phone. “Might as well give me your number as well.” Shouta piped up. I was rather surprised he wanted it. He didn’t talk to me much back in school. He did often sit by me though. Rather closely too, but there was nothing about it. I shrugged it off and also gave it to him. Adara did the same, but they didn’t seem as enthusiastic about it? Well, she can be rather annoying in her texts. The Bombay demanded attention again by rubbing their head against my hand.
“Anyways, I envy the energy you have Hizashi. You never seem to run out.” I commented.
“I really wish he would. He can never be quiet.”
“Aw Sho, don’t be like that! Ya know you dig it!”
“I really don’t.” Hizashi looped his arm around Shouta’s shoulders. “Baaaabe! Don’t be so meeeeaaan!”
“Quiet down!” He snapped, quickly looking around again. None of the staff were in earshot distance and they were busy starting to sweep and restock things.
“I’d like to ask something if that’s okay,” I said. Shouta looked at me and nodded while Hizashi and Adara were spouting something about music and new slang. He nodded. “How long have the two of you been together? You don’t have to answer if it’s too personal though.”
He seems to think for a moment. “Believe it or not, it wasn’t long after school. We met up again and spoke to each other at times like now when we have the time,” He looked over and “glared” at Hizashi. “If only he could be a bit quieter, but that’s never going to change with his loud mouth.”
“Were ya talkin’ ‘bout me, babe?” Hizashi suddenly asks, gaining attention towards us. I couldn’t help but chuckle. “Maybe, maybe not,” A smirk grew on my face. “He’s just saying how much he loves you.” Shouta glares harshly at me with a bit of blush forming on his face as Hizashi quickly pulls him closer. “Aw! How sweet of ya!” Adara laughs at Shouta’s misery.
Hizashi looked at me. “So, y/n, have ya got a lover yet?” I groaned. “Adara JUST asked me that before you two came!”
“We weren’t here then.” I sighed heavily. “No, and I’m not planning on it until my life is more together.” The two of them grew worried expressions. “What do you mean?”
I gave a nonchalant shrug. “Just having trouble with a bad landlord and bills. You know, the usual sucky things of life.” Hizashi looked at me with a small frown. “We could-” I knew what he was about to say, and that’s a definite no.  “No. I can’t have you guys do that for me.” I cut in. “But we’re will-”
“Nope! I’ll handle it on my own.”
“Y/n, this is serious. Let us help you before it gets worse. I’d know.” Shouta’s voice turned incredibly stern. It almost made me want to cave in and accept it. No wonder he’s a teacher now.
“Listen, I understand your guy’s concern for me, but I’ll be fine! You both have my number, so maybe just text me something later, and I’ll reach out if I need to.” I persisted. Shouta’s eyes narrowed more. I’ve forgotten how truly powerful this man’s glare was. Yikes.
It felt like hours, though it was only seconds until he finally relented with a nod of his head and the other two let out their breath they were holding.
Adara decided to break the tension in the worst way possible. “Hey, Y/n? Remember when you used to have a crush on-” I covered her mouth before she could finish. “That jerk from school? Yeah, I want to slap my younger self for ever having that damn thing on such a narcissist.” I quickly came up with that lie and glared harshly at her. I could tell Shouta can tell something was a lie.
Adara licked my hand. It took a lot of restraint not to recoil and take my hand away from her mouth. “We better go. Text me later for us to meet up!” I told them, and dragged Adara out the door. I yanked on her long red hair to make her come, and as a little payback. As soon as we got out the door and a little ways away, I let go of her. “What was that about!? You were going to make it so awkward between us four than it already was!”
“Don’t try to deny it! You STILL have feelings for the both of them! I can tell just by the way you look at them!”
“They’re together now! Do you know how bad it would be!? Seriously, they’d never want to talk to me again!” She shrugged. “I don’t know about that. They seemed still pretty interested in you.”
“You’re reading too far into things. I don’t want this to come up again.” I hissed, and stormed away with feeling sheer embarrassment at the utter gall she had to try bringing that up.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I started to hang out with the two of them in their limited free time. It surprised me they wanted me to hang out with the two of them every time they were free. My little thing I still had for them quickly vanished as I saw their interactions. Now it’s me trying not to physically gush how adorable they are together. Shouta was reading with his legs over Hizashi’s. A cute little habit I noticed of his is him always having to touch Shouta in some sort of way. In public? A “friendly” arm slung around his shoulders. Between us? Holding his hand or even just rubbing his hands on Shouta’s legs. Especially if Shouta is wearing shorts, like he is now.
I didn't want to impede on their connection more and more as my mind focused on it. They don’t need me here. They were sitting on their couch while myself was on the loveseat. My phone was out in front of me while I absentmindedly glanced at the two of them from time to time. The more the thought wandered, isn’t this kinda weird as well? We don’t even really speak at times like this. Sure, the peace is great and all, but… Fuck it, this has to change. Come on Adara. Right now would be a great time to-
My phone started to ring. It was Adara. Impeccable timing! I answered it and stood up to leave the room. “What’s up gir-’
“You need to get away from them NOW!!!” Adara sounded beyond panicked. Panic quickly started to rise in me as well as I glanced at the two men. They didn’t seem any different. I stopped looking before Hizashi and I could lock eyes.
“What do you mean?” I question.
“I fully underestimated just HOW much they love you! My husband was just warned by his friend you’re in danger. You need to leave, and NEVER be alone with them again! No matter how much they ask! Get out now, before you can’t again!”
Okay, that’s beyond concerning. But they’d be caught if they ever did something like that! This can’t be a joke though. She’s surprisingly not one for jokes.
“You’re on a suspect list! It’s free reign if they get you! RUN!”
The fear increased tenfold with her words. I look back at the cou- They’re not there! Flight kicked in, and I started to run towards the front door. My wrist was suddenly grabbed, and my phone is yanked from my hand. My attention snapped forward to Shouta tightly gripping my phone. Tight enough his knuckles turned white as he pressed the speaker button.
Hizashi was standing next to Shouta with a betrayed and hurt expression. His frown deeper than I’ve ever seen it. Shouta isn’t doing much better. “You know Adara, It’s rather hurtful to go back on trying to rekindle our love.” Chills ran up my spine. That doesn’t even sound like Hizashi.
A shriek of surprise came over the phone. It quickly turned to her breathing heavily. She sounded more angry than fearful. “It’s because you two are fucking insane you put them on the suspect list!!” she spat.
“That’s rather hurtful, dear Adara.” Hizashi fully blew off her accusation.
Shouta squeezed it tight enough the screen started to crack. He wasn’t holding my wrist… I decided to run for it. I didn’t even get close to the door when something wrapped tightly around my waist and dragged me back. It was pulled up slightly to prevent me from falling. There was only one thing it could be… Shouta’s capture weapon. He was using his quirk and it only needed one hand. The other still held the phone.
“You’re no longer needed. Stay quiet, and maybe things won’t end bad for you.”
‘Crack’ the phone got crushed.
I was in full blown panic now. Especially the look on their faces. It didn’t take long for Hizashi to hug me tightly. Something wet dripped onto my shoulder. Why is he crying!? If anything, I should be the one crying! “Sho, w-we did it all wrong!” Shouta sighs angrily. He stopped using his quirk, but his capture weapon still was wrapped tightly around me. Including my arms which were pinned to my sides.
“We overheard that night. We were hoping to bring your love back to us by jealousy,” His eyes narrowed as he looked away. “Turns out that was clearly the wrong decision. It only drove you away more.”
Hizashi hugged tighter. “Do-Don’t worry Songbird! We can still fix this! We can make ya love us again!” He turned his head towards Shouta. Shouta walked behind me and hugged my bound form as well. It was so binding to the point it was hard to breathe. I tried to squirm in their toxic grip. The attempt to break free was clearly fruitless, only succeeding in them squeezing tighter like a snake suffocating its prey.
Shouta leaned to be right next to my ear, and let out a satisfied exhale. It being so close to my ear sent another shiver up my spine. “We should have done this much sooner.” Hizashi eagerly nodded as I started to get tired and stopped struggling.
“Ya see! They’re already lovin’ us! Sho, it’s not close enough though!” In the corner of my eye, Shouta nodded in agreement. They released me, but like a leash Shouta pulls me over to the large couch, Hizashi not far behind.
"Hold them." Shouta said, and pushed me closer to Hizashi. He didn't have to be told twice. Shouta quickly used his quirk to undo his capture weapon. They had a silent conversation as I started to squirm again. “Guys, stop this! I moved on, you guys need to as well!”
Their faces turned to delusional obsession. Hizashi sat on the couch, and forced my legs to wrap around his lower back. Shouta quickly ties his capture weapon around my ankles before Hizashi lets go of my legs.
Hizashi then leans against the armrest of the couch as Shouta goes behind me. He puts his legs over Hizashi’s, and leans forward to fully sandwich me.
“No. We’ll make you love us again. We lost ya once, and never again.”
“One way,” He leaned next to my ear again. “Or another.” It didn’t take a genius to know it was a threat… That and him squeezing his legs into my sides.
It was easy to tell I wasn’t going to be able to go anywhere anytime soon…

Sugar Sweet Smiles
So, this was more of writing warm-up the past couple of weeks after I hadn't written in over a month, so I'll be honest, it's not really up to my standards lol. I also didn't edit it because I knew I would just never post it, if I did. I also have only just started writing for BNHA so I'm still feeling out the characters. It's likely that this could be pretty OOC, but that's up to y'all to decide lol. Also, this fic feels a lot more bitter now that my brother-in-law ruined Christmas by bringing home COVID, but I hope you all get some joy out of it!

Ships: EraserMic
Summary: It's Christmastime, and Shouta and Hizashi have a very important tradition to introduce to Eri and Hitoshi.
Word Count: 2526 words
[ao3 link]
------------------------
Shouta sighed as Hizashi got distracted by yet another shiny decoration in the store. They were supposed to be shopping for ingredients, and their house was already decorated to a point that was nearly sickening. Did they really need a fourth wreath? Where would it even go?
Next to him, Hitoshi looked on in amusement, periodically glancing down to type something on his phone. He was probably texting Midioriya or Kaminara, based on what Shouta had seen of the budding friendships before UA had let out for Christmas break.
Eri, meanwhile, sat in the children’s seat in the cart and seemed mesmerized with the entirety of the grocery store in general. They hadn’t had many chances to take her out since she came into his and Hizashi’s care, and she was still fascinated every time she experienced the world.
“Hizashi,” Shouta said sternly.
Hizashi froze where he’d been trying to place some gaudy outdoor ornaments into their cart. He gave Shouta a nervous grin.
“Yes, dear?”
“Baking supplies, Hizashi. Not decorations. We don’t have any more room.”
Hizashi pouted. “We have room.”
Shouta raised an eyebrow and Hizashi's pout intensified. He did, however, place the ornaments back onto the shelf as Hitoshi snorted in quiet laughter. Shouta started the cart moving before Hizashi could get distracted again.
“Compromise,” Hizashi said as Shouta directed them to the correct aisle. “You let me get the cats Christmas sweaters, and I’ll stop buying decorations. Well, this year, at least.”
Shouta snorted. “I think Tigress, Kermit, and Blanket would sooner kill you than allow you to put sweaters on them.”
Hizashi stuck his tongue out at Shouta, making Eri giggle and Hitoshi roll his eyes with a grin. Shouta decided not to react and simply point to the flour on the shelf behind Hizashi, a silent request to get what they actually came to the store for.
The rest of the shopping trip went similarly, with Hizashi acting more like a child than either of their actual children and Shouta denying the begrudging fondness that filled him at Hizashi’s actions.
They did wind up getting Christmas sweaters for the cats.
The recipe they were using was one they’d gotten from Hizashi’s mothers. It was an old Yamada family recipe, but they constantly joked that a grandparent had probably gotten it out of a dime-a-dozen cookbook ages ago and passed the recipe off as their own. Either way, Shouta had been obsessed with the things since he and Hizashi were 15 and he tried them for the first time, and he refused to let the butter cookie tradition die even after Hizashi moved out of his mothers’ house.
Hizashi said it was cute and teased him about being nostalgic. Really, Shouta would just kill a man to have more of those cookies.
And now they had more people to bring into the tradition.
Hizashi washed his hands as Shouta lined up their ingredients and supplies. Hitoshi leaned up against the opposite counter and watched him with lazy eyes. Eri slowly approached the counter Shouta was setting up on and grabbed the edge, pulling herself up onto her tiptoes to see the surface.
“I’ve never made cookies before,” she said quietly.
“Well,” Hizashi said, loud enough that Hitoshi jumped, “it’s a good thing we’re here to teach you how!”
A smile tugged at Shouta’s lips as Hizashi carefully lifted Eri up to sit on the counter, out of the way of the baking supplies Shouta had set up. Instead of giving Hizashi the satisfaction, Shouta turned toward the sink.
“She still has to wash her hands,” he said. “And now you have to rewash yours.”
Hizashi groaned dramatically. “We’re a family, we all share the same germs! It’s not that big of a deal!”
Shouta, carefully telegraphing his movements, lifted Eri off the counter and kicked the nearby step stool into place in front of the sink. He turned on the sink and set Eri down, leaving her to wash her hands herself.
“Well, I agree with Aiz--Shouta,” Hitoshi said, finally walking forward to stand next to Eri and wash his hands. “I don’t want your weird loud germs in my cookies.”
This time, Shouta allowed the grin to pass over his face, even as Hizashi gasped in a way that was far too dramatic to be real. Hizashi thrust his finger in their direction.
“Watch it,” he said. “I’ll start a flour war.”
“You will not,” Shouta said, shooting him a glare. “Wash your hands.”
And then, in a move that surprised even Shouta himself, he swiped his hand through the sink’s stream and splashed it at Hizashi. Hitoshi burst out laughing and stumbled away, probably to get himself out of the crossfire. Eri just glanced up at him, giving a little confused giggle.
“Are you looking to start a war, Aizawa Shouta?” Hizashi asked, voice low and dangerous.
“Are you looking to lose, Yamada Hizashi?”
Hizashi narrowed his eyes. Shouta saw him tense and leapt back, carefully not to jump so far that he would hit the counter across the room. Hizashi lunged after him, hands already covered in flour (and when had that happened?), and Shouta let out a startled laugh as he dodged. Hitoshi cackled and out of the corner of his eye Shouta saw him pull Eri to the edge of the room and out of the crossfire.
That moment of distraction cost him, and Hizashi’s hands grabbed his cheeks, rubbing the flour into his skin. Shouta gasped and darted away, making a break for the sink and pulling out the hose from the faucet, spraying it in Hizashi’s direction. Hizashi screeched, barely keeping his quirk in check.
“And to think you two are considered responsible adults and students are afraid of you,” Hitoshi quipped.
At that, Shouta straightened back up and cleared his through, turning the sink off. Hizashi laughed, whether it was at the situation or the embarrassed look on Shouta’s face was unknown, and walked over to whisk Eri back into his arms.
“Right, now that we’re all clean,” Shouta started, and Hitoshi snorted, the sound cutting him off.
“But Aizawa-san, you’re not clean,” Eri said as Hizashi put her back on the counter. “Your face is all dirty.”
Hizashi and Hitoshi laughed, and Shouta gently waved her off.
“Baking can get a little messy, anyway, so it’s okay if I’m dirty with flour. We just don’t want to be dirty with germs and grime.”
“Germs and grime,” Eri repeated quietly, examining her hands.
Hizashi clapped his hands together. “And now for the main event!”
“Where’s the recipe?” Hitoshi asked.
Hizashi laid a hand over his heart. “Right in here, little listener!”
Eri squinted and Hitoshi raised an eyebrow. Shouta flicked Hizashi in the forehead.
“I have it memorized. ‘Zashi couldn’t remember it to save his life, and he always loses it when we write it down.”
“Yeah, that adds up,” Hitoshi said.
Hizashi pouted, so Shouta placated him with a kiss on the cheek. Hitoshi made a gagging noise.
“Start with the wet ingredients,” Shouta said, pushing Hizashi and Hitoshi toward the mixer. “Cream the butter and sugar first, before adding the egg, vanilla, or milk. Please don’t make that mistake again. Eri and I will work on the rest of the dry ingredients.”
Shouta grabbed a bowl and the dry ingredients and moved toward where Eri was seated.
“Why do you mix the ingredients separately?” Eri asked, leaning over the bowl as she watched Shouta measure out cups of flour.
Shouta paused. “I’m not really sure. I suppose to make sure they’re mixed evenly, but I’ve never really thought about it.”
Eri nodded seriously and Shouta couldn’t help but smile at the concentrated look on her face. He measured out the salt and baking powder and handed her one of the utensils. She grinned as they poured them together.
“Do you want to mix it?” Shouta asked.
Eri bit her lip.
“I can show you how, first, if you want.”
She nodded and Shouta grabbed a fork, not willing to dirty a whisk when they were such hell to clean afterwards. He carefully whisked the dry ingredients around with the fork, making sure not to spill any over the edges of the bowl. After a few stirs, he handed the fork over to Eri.
“I’ll hold the bowl still,” he said. “You just stir, and try not to spill any if you can. It’s okay if you do, though.”
Eri nodded, that look of concentration crossing her face again. She stuck the fork into the bowl and carefully moved it around, mimicking what Shouta had shown her to the best of her abilities. Shouta smiled.
“Good,” he said. “Just like that, but try to get the fork a little deeper. You’re only mixing the top, you want to try and get it all--good, just like that.”
Eri brightened at his praise and direction, her stirring getting more confident. Shouta looked up and met eyes with Hizashi over her head, the two of them sharing a smile before Hitoshi grabbed Hizashi’s attention again.
“We’re ready for the dry ingredients if you are,” Hizashi called a few moments later.
Shouta looked down at Eri. “What do you think, do you think it’s mixed up enough?”
Eri hummed and eyed the bowl with a critical eye. She gave the mixture a few more strong stirs before giving Shouta a self-assured nod. He nodded back and lifted the bowl in one hand and Eri in the other, walking over toward the mixer. He handed the bowl to Hitoshi.
“I figure you’re far less likely to drop this than Hizashi.”
Hizashi made an affronted noise and Shouta chuckled. Eri hid a smile in his shoulder as she watched Hitoshi pour a portion of the dry mixture into the mixing bowl. Then Shouta’s smile faltered when Hizashi got a devious look in his eyes.
“Don’t you dare,” Shouta said, buying Hitoshi enough time to place the bowl with the rest of the dry mixture back on the counter.
Hitoshi frowned, looking back and forth between them. “Don’t what?”
Shouta narrowed his eyes. “He was going to prove that you were clumsy enough to drop it, too. By making you drop it.”
Hizashi put his hand against his heart. “How dare you accuse me of such a thing! On a completely unrelated note, Hitoshi do you happen to be ticklish?”
Hitoshi edged away from Hizashi, and Hizashi laughed.
“Good to know,” he said. “That’s important information for a parent to have.”
“I suddenly regret being adopted,” Hitoshi said, quickly moving behind Shouta, using him as a human shield.
Shouta let out an exasperated sigh, but he was smiling again. “Let’s just make the dough, come on. It still needs to chill before we can bake it.”
“Why do we chill the dough?” Eri asked.
Hizashi hummed. “I think it helps the cookies from spreading so much when you bake them? Or maybe that’s just with chocolate chip cookies…” Hizashi trailed off in thought.
Either way, Eri nodded, accepting the answer. Hitoshi moved back to finish mixing the dough.
Once the dough was wrapped up in wax paper and stuck in the refrigerator to chill, they washed their hands and retreated to the living room. Hitoshi and Eri were elected to choose a Christmas movie while Shouta and Hizashi collapsed onto the couch. Hizashi quickly cuddled up to Shouta, burying a hand into his hair.
“Someone’s affectionate,” Shouta chuckled.
“Gotta claim my spot before one of the cats does,” Hizashi replied, only curling in closer.
As if on cue, Blanket and Kermit came racing in from the office and launched onto the couch. They immediately curled up as close to Shouta as they could get, and it only made Shouta laugh harder.
The kids put on some cartoon that Shouta had probably seen before, and as soon as Eri plopped onto the floor, Tigress slinked out of wherever she’d been hiding and curled up in Eri’s lap. Shouta snapped a sneaky picture while Hizashi cooed quietly.
And then Hizashi’s hand started scratching at Shouta’s scalp and he was out like a light.
He was shaken awake an indeterminate amount of time later and opened his eyes to movie credits rolling over the TV screen.
“Time to get baking!” Hizashi sang in his ear, clearly uncaring about the fact that Shouta just woke up.
He waved Hizashi and the kids on without him, taking a few more moments to gather himself and wake up. When Shouta finally made his way into the kitchen, Hizashi was helping Eri pick out which cookie cutters to use while Hitoshi was hesitantly sprinkling flour over the counter. Shouta nodded at him, going to fetch the dough.
“Good,” he told Hitoshi. “But keep the flour out, we’re going to need to put more down at some point.”
“Sho?” Hizashi called. “Would you mind helping Eri wash the cookie cutters? Who knows how long they’ve been in that drawer.”
Instead of answering, Shouta gently plucked Eri from her step stool and perched her on his hip, gathering the cookie cutters in one hand. He placed her down on the counter next to the sink and began washing the shapes she’s chosen, muttering all the while about being mindful of the sharp edges.
From there, Hizashi and Shouta made the silent decision to let the kids take over. Hitoshi swiftly, if a bit awkwardly, slipped into his role of older brother, showing Eri how to best use the cookie cutters. Hizashi and Shouta did, however, handle the oven portion of the baking, carefully taking the cut dough from their hands and placing them on baking sheets.
Hizashi gently chided them as Hitoshi tried to sneak a bite of the dough, and Shouta promptly distracted him. He sent a subtle wink in Hitoshi and Eri’s direction and saw them immediately began stuffing their mouths full of dough over Hizashi’s shoulder.
Shouta couldn’t help but sneak a few bites of his own when Hizashi turned back around to watch the kids. He was much more successful than they had been.
Soon enough, they were whipping up the frosting (or, rather, Shouta was while the rest of them completed the baking portion of the day) and digging their collection of sprinkles and food dye out of the pantry.
This was Hizashi’s favorite part, and it quickly became clear that it was Eri’s, too. The two of them had a knack for decoration. Even with Eri’s difficulty controlling where her frosting went, their cookies turned out decently better than Hitoshi’s or Shouta’s. Not that Shouta minded, he was more there to steal tastes of frosting over anything else.
Hitoshi quickly picked up on this habit.
After all the excitement, Shouta and Hizashi only let the kids have a couple of cookies after dinner before sending them to bed. Tomorrow was a big day, after all. Their first Christmas as a family was nothing to blink at, and Santa had a few things to get done before then.
Especially if the two of them kept getting distracted kissing frosting off each other’s faces.

Please Knock
I was stuck in a fic I was working on so I asked @ill-go-with-that-then and @overthegaybow if I could write about a prompt they were throwing around of EraserMic getting caught in the supply closets on UA campus. Hope y’all enjoy!
“Alright, and that should finish up the tour! Do you have any questions?” Nemuri smiled warmly.
Aiko gave her an eager thumbs up in return, “No, I think you covered everything! I am so excited to start working here! You have no idea how much I admire the heroes that UA turns out. I mean, the Present Mic went to school here! He’s going to hate me, I am so going to fangirl over him.”
“Oh please, he will eat up any attention you give him. But,” Nemuri’s smile twisted into a devilish smirk, “That does remind me, if you have to open up any supply closets on campus, always knock first.”
“What? Why?” She let out a nervous laugh, trailing after Nemuri back towards the guidance counselor’s office – her office, she reminded herself.
Nemuri threw a wink over her shoulder at her, “Don’t worry about it. Just make sure you always knock. It’s vital you remember that.” And then she continued on, pointing out a suspicious mark on the wall and regaling her in a story from her own time at UA.
Out of everything she had been told on her first day as UA staff, that had definitely been the strangest. But when you worked at a place like UA, strange was the norm, so Aiko shrugged it off and listened more carefully when she heard Hizashi’s name. As a Banana Dreamer for almost her entire life, there was no way she wouldn’t take any chance to hear about his days in school.
***
Since her office was by principal Nezu’s and not located in the staff room, Aiko unfortunately wasn’t able to see any of Hizashi on her first day at UA. But that was fine! She was working there now, so there would be plenty of time for her to fangirl and ask for his autograph.
Her first day had gone by almost completely uneventfully; besides her tour of the school, the only conversation she had was during lunch when she ate with Nemuri and Toshinori. Meeting All Might was cool, of course, but a bit anticlimactic. Despite his bravado and over the top demeanor as All Might, Toshinori himself was polite and almost meek. She couldn’t say she had been much of an All Might in the first place though, so it hadn’t bothered her much.
The rest of her day had been filled with endless amounts of new employee paperwork. School had ended an hour ago, but she was so close to being done with the infernal paperwork that she powered through another fifteen minutes to finish. All she needed was to staple her last few papers together and she was done! She smacked the top of her stapler probably a bit harder than needed in her excitement to go home, but who could blame her? Her hand had cramped eight times that day and she was so ready to take a nice bath when she got home. But after all the paperwork she had done that day, of course she had to have just one too few staples.
Groaning, she let her head fall onto her desk to commiserate her luck for a heartbeat before she pushed herself up out of her chair. “I can do this. I totally remember where the nearest supply closet is!” She plastered a cheery smile on her face and set off down the hall in search of more staples.
Aiko doubted anyone would be there as late as she was that day, so she let herself hum and skip down the hall. “Now if I remember right, it should be riiiiiiight... Aha!” At the door just before the staff room, she stopped and grinned to herself. Without a second thought, she threw the door open and took one step forward in triumph before the scene before her registered.
Her personal hero and long time obsession, Present Mic, Yamada Hizashi, was in the supply closet. His pants and briefs had been yanked down to his knees; hickies littered his thighs and a few poked out from under the hem of his shirt. His back was braced up against the back wall, one hand gripping a shelf tightly and the other buried in the hair of the man on his knees in front of him. The man in question was without a doubt Eraserhead, Hizashi’s best friend but nothing more according to all of his fan websites. Hizashi was panting and letting out soft moans in response to whatever Eraserhead was doing.
Ever the one to speak before she thought, Aiko shouted, “Oh my god!” and slammed the door as fast as she could.
It was then that she remembered Nemuri’s grin and her words of caution to knock on supply closets. She could feel her face burning what her virgin eyes had just witnessed. And after she had even been warned!
Trying to save face, she decided getting staples from the closet was not going to happen and borrowing a stapler from the staff room was the best course of action. She continued on her way down the hall and pushed the door open meekly, trying to push a smile on her face but she was sure it was closer to a grimace. She was greeted by the sight of Nemuri on the couch, her arms wrapped around her middle as she howled with laughter. Sekijirou was chuckling as well, albeit a bit more subdued, as he walked to a white board that read Days since the idiots got caught in a closet: 4 and erased the 4 to replace it with a 0.
Toshinori rushed to her side, “Oh no, Suzuki-Chan, I am so sorry. I thought Kayama-Chan had already warned you.” He cast a very fatherly, disapproving look at the other two occupants in the room, both of which were still giggling.
“Um, she did. I forgot. It was my fault. I just needed more staples and I thought everyone was already gone for the day,” She murmured, eyes glued to the ground. She wished her face wasn’t brighter than a tomato, but she had no illusions. She had totally just ruined any chance of having a good reputation among her coworkers.
Toshinori patted her back softly, “If it makes you feel any better, I’ve worked here for about a year now and I’ve done that at least ten times.”
“Yeah, Aiko-Chan! No worries, I was the one who walked in on them four days ago,” Nemuri offered her a smile that eased her nerves quite a bit.
Sekijirou snorted, “And we’ve been dealing with this since high school, so trust me, you’ll never do it more than we have.” He held out his stapler to her and she took it, feeling the last bit of discomfort leave her.
“Well, I’m glad it wasn’t just me, but I have to tell you, I always imagined my first meeting with my hero going very differently,” Aiko rubbed the back of her neck and laughed.
“Bring something to get autographed tomorrow,” Nemuri grinned, “I’ll make him feel bad about traumatizing you.”
Maybe working at UA was going to be even more fun than she thought.

Thanks for the tags! @elillierose and @markofthemoros I am going to be so conflicted and second guess myself on this,,, OTL
Rules: Choose any three fandoms (in any order), answer the questions and tag people you want to get to know better.
My chosen 3 fandoms:
FFXV
One Piece
BNHA
The first character you loved:
Noctis
Zoro
Todoroki
The character you never expected to love so much:
Prompto. My sunshine child. My first thought of him was that he was going to be this generic blond, happy-go-lucky best friend to our raven haired protag but damn. He was anything but generic. His backstory and overall characterization were fantastic and I love him...enough said
For One Piece...So many?!? Like I didn’t expect to love Nico Robin as much as I do. In the beginning she was just sorta there for me but then I just grew to love her character and always wanted her to get some super awesome fight scenes. LUFFY? Ok confession time...I’m usually not too attached to main characters. Its just a thing but I absolutely love Luffy. Especially when he does a 180 and goes super serious....thats just terrifying. also depending on how you read this question...FRIGGIN TRAFALGAR LAW MY MAN~ *ahem* I knew OF him and had seen some screenshots but the more I learned the more obsessed I became with this man and hot damn I feel like I’m betraying my childhood faves of Zoro and Sanji...sorry guys
And for BNHA I would have to go with Aizawa and Tsuyu. Ok so with Aizawa I did already love him from the beginning BUT once I saw the end of season 1 my respect and love for this man went through the roof. This man is a total badass and I love him...have I mentioned? He is the best. And Tsuyu just an adorable badass in her own way. Again in the beginning she was just sorta there but then she grew on me immensely.
The character you relate to most:
Definitely Prompto. I have a lot of self esteem issues from the way I look to the way I act that I try to cover up with ‘fake’ confidence and bravado that usually ends up with me being an odd duck to speak...I constantly fret over people possibly disliking me for something I say/do
Ace for OP I guess? I am very close to my family, especially my one sibling. I am very protective of those close to me. Also I am extremely stubborn and can pretty much sleep anywhere XD
Momo. not to sound arrogant or anything...but I was quite good at most subjects in school and most things came naturally to me. I also enjoyed helping and tutoring others in areas they had been struggling. I did have some confidence problems when it came to other matters that I still work on.
The character you’d slap:
Gladio? I love you dude, but sometimes *clenches*
Ohh boi this list would go on and on for OP but I would have to say Spandam for being the biggest douchebag to have ever lived and BLACKBEARD FOR OBVIOUS REASONS
MINETA-I DON’T NEED TO EXPLAIN THIS ONE
Three favourite characters (in order of preference): Oh please no
Prompto, Noctis, Ignis
Law, Zoro, Ace (HOW DOES ONE JUST PICK THREE FOR OP WHAT!?)
 Todoroki, Aizawa, Deku
A character you liked at first but don’t anymore:
Don’t think there is any for any of the three fandoms...I stay pretty attached~
A character you did not like at first but do now:
Ravus-I definitely feel like this is a common one...but yeah I figured we were going to get TM white haired angsty pretty boy..and we did? But not exactly how I was expecting. Especially after all of the DLC and realizing now the whole picture I like Ravus a lot more than when I started. I feel for him...
I would have to go with Franky and Brook. I think now that I’ve gotten back into the fandom and started rewatching OP (never got to Franky and Brook the first time) I just had this negative feel about them? I knew of people complaining that Brook didn’t have any time to ‘grow’ as a character and I just did not like Franky off the bat. However both of them in their respective arcs really grew on me, especially Brook and his backstory...gods I cried like a baby.
Definitely Bakugo. To me he was just this giant asshole of a character I really wanted to get punched in the face. But then it became almost...comedic? and more receptive from his fellow classmates vs just Deku and also Deku was able to stand up to him. Bakugo has really had an interesting character development I admit~
Three OTPs:
Promptis, Gladnis, NoctLuna
Zosan, Lawlu, Marace
EraserMic, Tododeku (honestly don’t have a third...)
Thanks for the tags again! I don’t really have anyone I want to tag? So anyone that sees this can go right ahead!
