ive been actively seeking out transphobic content for a project im doing and it's literally so wild to see what these types of people think. like i dont even mean this in the bluffing way or in the "im a better person than them way" but LEGIT you almost start to feel bad for these people because while they claim us trans people are the delusional ones, they're literally the ones who've built their entire identities and ideologies on hating trans people. this isn't even an exaggeration, their entire accounts are dedicated to transphobia and you can see that they spend like 6-12+ hours posting like nonstop with a quick scroll. and it's like, what's left after that? are you even a person anymore? are you okay? you can choose to stop this at any point, you know that right? but if you ever express that, they'll just call you one of their little made up words like a TIF or TIM or troon or whatever the hell else their cultish "community" has come up with like that actually matters in the real world.

like fr im not gonna lie, seeing this much transphobic content on like 4chan and kiwi farms and even here has made me realize the world actually is a lot more accepting of trans people and many people are on our side -- and this is based on the fact that these stupid transphobes literally act so fucking bizarre that i think even an on-the-fence-on-semi-conservative-trans-issues person would be like "hey. what the fuck. that's not normal."

and, like, in my deep dive i've found that these losers have literally doxxed trans influencers on IG or tiktok and like....these influencers have no clue and aren't bothered bc these transphobic losers actually have no influence or backbone what so ever to actually do anything with this information. doesn't make it right, of course, but like...they're just pathetic and have no reach to the real world? like online transphobia is rampant but when you actually explore their designated spaces it's just like. goddamn i know i got issues but whatever the fuck they got going on needs a cure stronger than touching grass and prozac. like these people legit need to throw out their computers and go to intense therapy for their obsession with hating trans people.

like, overall, i thought doing research for this project would worsen my mental state and even make some dysphoria flare up -- but it's literally making me more affirmed and confident as a trans person because these fucking transphobic losers literally act like they're suffering in pain just because trans people exist.

Despite the context, it’s possible that Revan was still redeemed. In Legends, both the Brotherhood of the Darkness and Darth Bane respected them, in spite of knowing that they returned to the light. What do you think of the news about a Rey movie? I don’t know whether to be excited or not. On one hand, it’ll be nice to see Rey again and I’m genuinely curious how they plan to fix the disaster they left behind with TROS, but on the other hand it’s unlikely Ben will be making an appearance. Adam seems busy with other projects and I can’t see him returning to SW. :( also the 15-year time jump is strange imo

A lot of people seem to think it might not even happen, since they're apparently constantly cancelling things and a lot of films don't get made even when companies have their shit together. That's my best case scenario.

So Ahsoka was having mental issues with anakin's fall, meaning she didn't actually want to live. Her fear of being what Baylon said she was meant she was always going to lose that fight, because in many ways star wars is about belief; Luke has faith and trusts the force, destroying the Death Star. Rey has belief and trusts the force and defeats Kylo Ren(1). Ahsoka doubts herself and so she loses.

The reason she was reluctant to train Grogu and Sabine is a result of letting fear of herself stop her from truly comitting, which ties back into Anakin's fall to the dark side.

This is shown when she indirectly tells anakin that all he taught her was war, and that's all he and therefore she was. Her ultimate stand is deciding that no, she wants to live and that they were both more than that. That's why she changes robes from gray to white(2), it's her recommiting herself.

Star Wars needs more silliness... because the jokes are good enough.

Once again, if you don't know, I'm what Lily would refer to as a Star Wars weeb. I live breath and shit Star Wars. You got it good. Let's dig in.

Not even a minute in before Lily starts complaining about how Star Wars is diving deeper into the lore of how the galaxy works. Even though she says she likes Star Wars, I never understood people who say they like something but don't want to know more about said thing.

She brings up that all the characters in the new Star Wars are basically the same character from older movies, which is kinda true, but that's also taking away the characters' motivation and story line she's uses Rey as an example saying "what if Anakin was a girl and a big dork." Which is kinda cute but completely ignores the fact that Rey and Anakin are nothing alike.

Now, I do agree with how Rey is a pretty refreshing character (and her video was made before TROS), but she's not as refreshing as she thinks Rey is. She even hit us with the "she's not like other girls," saying, "There is no mystery behind her origins. She wasn't linked to any characters of the past movie/books. She's just a force sensitive person who happened to get caught up in the war by circumstances." But then goes onto saying that no one liked that and that everyone wanted another, Luke. I am your father (which she called stupid)

She goes on a tangent about her complaints about TROS, which is valid. The last Star Wars movie was a big disappointment to anyone who liked the sequel. (I didn't like the sequels because I thought Finn would have made a better main character and the idea of a fascist soldier who was born into the army, learning that he was on the wrong side and worked to make up for his sins more interesting, also for what they did to Luke, Leia, Han, and everyone else from the original.)

After that, she brings up that everyone called Rey a Mary Sue, which is also dumb. She brings up the fact that Rey's force sensitive and uses Luke, Anakin, and Revan as examples of being overpowered, saying Luke had perfect had and Anakin had the reflexes of a god (idk much about Revahn so I'm skipping him) then mocks the people who cried over Rey not having any lightsaber training. But Luke and Anakin already had training in their own way. In the novelization of a new hope and even in the movie, it's stated that Luke would use wamp rats for target practice. Anakin was a slave who was bullied and probably beaten a lot, so he had to train himself to react faster. Anyone who's even been in a situation where you can't fight back will know that dodging and getting fast reflexes will help make sure you don't get hurt. Now, she uses her examples to explain that Rey would be able to beat Kylo in a fight because he's just a wimp. The nephew of Luke, who has been trained in the ways of the force since he was a child, is labeled as wimp. Technically speaking by Lily’s own logic, Kylo would have killed Rey in their first fight.

Okay, for those of you who care, I kinda write the blog post while watching the video, so I'm not even halfway done with this bullshit and I've already written 5 paragraphs of her video and she has yet to bring up why star wars needs more silliness... on to 6.

She then states that despite all her complaints about the movies (because she doesn't want to sound like a naiz), she really loves Rey and how... (this pissed me the fuck off) it brought life into Luke, Han, and Leia saying they were dull as crap. BITCH! I fucking love the original gang (they were my bi awakening) and when I heard they were bringing back the characters for the sequels I was very hesitant and I was right to be. The sequels did the gang so dirty, making Luke (the one who wanted to save his father, the man that chopped off his hand and killed millions of people and Jedi because he still had faith that his father was in there.) A mad man who tried to kill nephew because he had a scary dream of going to the dark side. They made Han (a badass who is a loving father and husband) a fucking deadbeat who lives in his van with his best friend. And they didn’t do shit for Leia she's not her sassy self or anything. She's just there for fan service.

She gets to her main problem with Star Wars saying, "They just rehash the same plot but with different seasoning. They all follow the exact same story: plucky underdog, every man rebels fighting against the evil empire." But the thing is that while sure Star Wars is just the same story over and over, it's the characters that I think is what makes it feel like it's something new. Seeing how different characters react to certain things. Luke wanted to be more than a farmer with fate, helping him become one of the strongest Jedi. Ezra only focused on keeping himself alive and not caring about anyone else to then becoming a strong leader with willing to risk his life for others. You aren't watching the same story with the copy and paste characters. You are seeing characters in the same situation dealing with it differently.

At the end of the video, she talks about her shity Star Wars fanfic and how that's how she would have written the sequels, which now that I realize what she had in mind with writing it explains why it's so fucking boring. why in the only 3 chapters I had read, nothing had happened. Thank god no one with a brain would ever leave her in charge of anything.

And of course, she can't make a video without insulting people for having a different definition of fun than her. Lily, for most people in the Star Wars exploring the lore and wondering how the rebels got the death star plans is fun for them, and most of us want to branch out from the force users to see how people in the galaxy deal with the empire. You know world building something Lily isn't good at.

Okay, this video really hurt to watch, and I completely hated it, and she didn't even explain why Star Wars needs more silliness she's just complaining about Star Wars even though she claims to love it.

alright, now that i've finally done the homework of the 4 90s-Batman movies, let's actually pick back up with the DCEU watch and get seated for Andy Muschietti's The Flash.

what i know about this is that it brings back Michael Keaton, that Christina Hodson wrote it (which is the only reason i'm even mildly excited to see this movie, because she also wrote the best DC movie which has a practically perfect screenplay), that there was some bullshit face transplant of dead people — i think one of them was Christopher Reeves, i am not watching those Superman movies for this (haven't seen any of them, might watch them after i'm done with the DCEU), i don't even have access to them, i'm not doing that shit for a cameo anyway, and fuck DC for that, obviously, but i'm going to try to give the movie the best shot i can.

i've heard mixed things about this one as well, i know a few people who really liked it, and a lot of people who really fucking hated it, it's been called every fucking insult i can think of, so i'm not optimistic but Christina Hodson wrote it so it can't be terribly written at least. it may look like shit (from the two clips i've seen: microwave baby, and the shot of Flash and Supergirl zooming into frame, oh that's another thing i know, new Supergirl is in this) but at least hopefully it's well written. and he cannot have fucked up Christina's script that bad.

i'm just hoping that if this is bad, it's at least fun. and that it's not soul-crushing like The Rise of Shitwalker. i know the people at Disney are fucked up, i also know the people at WB are even more depraved somehow, if their track record in these last 4 years haven't shown you that already, but i hope this is as free from their shitty tendencies as possible. i can't do another TROS.

Not surprising that Adam is only one of countless actors who received death threats by the male fanboys who claim ownership of the Star Wars fandom and no one else is allowed in their clique. They hate everyone who is not Luke Skywalker and who is female. The actor behind Jar Jar Binks was vocal about receiving threats even in his everyday interactions with “fans” to the point of attempts taking his own life. Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, Hayden Christensen, Kelly Tran and Adam have all received death threats by this same group of incels. It’s not ok at all but until the bullies are eliminated permanently, they won’t stop until someone innocent actually commits suicide. They clearly didn’t do enough damage by destroying the franchise retconning the entire franchise with their change.com script of TROS and DisneyLucasfilm being run by the same group of people who killed off Ben Solo and told outraged traumatized fans of his to kill themselves because they didn’t give a f#%k. So this recent “we at Disney love Kylo/Ben!!!! 🥺🥺🥺” is gaslighting at its finest and complete bullshit that no real fan of Adam should ever fall for.

And Jake Lloyd who played Anakin in The Phantom Menace was bullied at school and stopped acting. From what I've heard, he's had a lot of problems since then because of it.

As for whether Disney is gaslighting us with all their recent "We love Kylo/Ben" stuff, I think that remains to be seen. There have been rumors going around since the release of TROS that they're planning on bringing him back and even looks like that might have always been the plan: kill him off, let us stew for a bit, and then bring him back. If they do bring him back, then I'll believe them when they say they love him. If not...I guess we have our answer.

I mean, I’m still glad it was flat out stated that Ben fell in love with Rey because there were people still insisting he only wanted her power or that there was never anything romantic between them, but I get what you’re saying. We have more evidence, I think, of his feelings for her than of her feelings for him. I think it would change things up a bit to have actual concrete canon evidence of those feelings being mutual.

Sure, of course people are happy to hear it. I don't think it's new information at all, and it's honestly weird to me that some people act like it is, but it's nice to actually get recognition of your canon pairing after all the bullshit we've been through. It's the rock bottom bare minimum, but DLF hasn't been clearing that bar for a long time, so it feels like a win.

I think it's 100% clear that Rey, the actual character, loves Ben and desperately wants to be with him, but Rey the actual character was taken out back and shot so DLF could have their SWCU brand avatar. I don't hold tros against the Rey of the first two films or her potential, just like I don't allow tros to ruin Luke and Leia for me. I'm not taking that shit on board because it was a bunch of incoherent nonsense which fundamentally destroyed the entire narrative and thematic heart of SW.

We don't have a declaration from Rey, but she showed us where her heart was by leaping into the lion's den with zero back up or exit strategy. She threw her life down at Ben's feet knowing that her life represented one of the last hopes for the galaxy. She believed in him that strongly. She wanted him that badly.

And, you know, despite the absolute shit show of tros, the actors managed to deliver us a perfect moment based solely on the emotional continuity from TLJ without any scripted dialogue to fuck it up. Her face when she wakes up in his arms. Her kiss. He is the home she's yearned for all her life.

If people can't understand that means she loves him, that's a them problem.

And yeah, it would be great if DLF would acknowledge this incredibly obvious and well-established fact of the ST in words, it'd be nice to have more ammunition because at this point we've earned being petty, but I don't think it would change anything. They literally kissed on the mouth for longer than any other couple in all of SW and antis were blind suddenly, they couldn't see. We get 'kiss of gratitude' and 'but isn't that incest tho' ludicrous copes to this day.

No amount of validation from DLF is going to move the needle for the entrenched doofus brigade in this fandom. Ep IX was the crucial moment which would have vindicated the story and brought the audience together (not that it would ever have won over some people, but you know) and they whiffed that. Even in the shitty, nonsensical execution of tros, we saw the microcosm of what the ST's RotJ would have done. So many people finally 'got' Ben just from two minutes without dialogue, imagine if the movie had been coherent and had had the ending the narrative needed and promised.

But yeah, anyway. I expect nothing from DLF and I don't think anything they could do will ever make much difference now. The canon is already broken and can't be fixed without just redoing ep IX, which would never happen. The audience and the GFFA are both fractured beyond repair.

Yes I did! For those who don’t know, Duel Of Fates was a very early draft of TROS which was rejected. Here’s my thoughts:

This is coming from a girl who HATES TROS. Like not even “I like all SW movies just some more than others” like it’s actually one of my least favorite movies ever.

I don’t think Duel Of Fates would’ve been any better. I like that they kept Rey as a nobody and didn’t do that forced Skywalker bullshit (I love Rey but even I don’t like the Skywalker thing) but that’s about it.

Frankly, the Knights of Ren killing Rey’s parents for a mission would’ve been a lame twist, Rose and Finn having force sensitive children would’ve been weird, (I’m not against FinnxRose, I just don’t think it would’ve been a great route) and just. Ughhhh I feel like this final movie was doomed no matter what.

They should’ve let Rian come back and fire Kathleen, then it would’ve been fine. And no, I’m not saying this just bc I’m a bitter Reylo, I genuinely think Rian does good work and I don’t get TLJ hate. (I’m legit watching it as I type this.)
