Update on the fucking clippers, I found out what's making it crooked and tried to take apart the body but while most of the screws were philipshead, there is ONE singular triwing screw and neither my mini screwdriver set nor my dads fuckin 21pc precision set have a triwing. But oh yeah cause clark at this point would understand a bit more how bart functions powers wise and has seen hia nose start to bleed pretty much when bart is pushed to his limits and usually in that context its a bad thing :/ pushing himself for the team or greater good even when the others plead for him to stand down they can handle it but bart will always feel the need to prove himself

So when is happens in bed clark noticing after barts face becomes visible after arching clark full stops everything instant panic and guilt for pushing and hurting bart will ruin the mood as he quickly cups barts face eyes scanning his face and aaking if hes okay and that hes sorry

and you have bart who was having the best of times struggling to comprehend what is happening glossy eyes and mushy brain only able to ask why clark stopped he even tries to lift his head to kiss him but clark pulls away and is strangely serious when he says barts name and holding his thumb up for him to look at

so bart huffs and forces himself to focus on it and thats when bart sees the smear of blood shaky fingertips going to wipe and hed just stare and thennshake his head and chuckle cause voice cracking im fine clark as he triws to wipe it away

clark doesnt believe him he gets up and finds bart a rag for his nose and hes got that hirt worried look about him why didnt bart tell him he was pushing him to far and bart would glare behind the slowly turning red rag that he was fine now hes annoyed

and hes gonna stay annoyed cause clarks going to insist on treating him like an injured cat shutting down any attempts bart makes on starting any bed thumping they can do it later when barts body has healed all while bart bites back and glares at clark from underneath his cloak of a blanket eating various snacks clark keeps shoving at him

you have clarks need to care and save and barts need to push and prove really showing off here but bart really was enjoying himself to even notice and it might be the first time his nose has bleed cause of the strain of a good thing
