Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh is something that will soothe your mind and soul. As dusk descends, Rishikesh is sanctioned by mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at the various ghat. It is indeed, a powerful and uplifting ritual that will calm you from the inside out. This devotional ritual contains the offering of fire in the form of a lamp. The river Ganges, which in Hindu tradition is considered Maa Ganga blessed the whole of Rishikesh with its presence. So, as a devotion, an offering in the form of Ganga Aarti is made to the Goddess river. It is certainly the holiest river in Indian culture. The Ganga Aarti holds a spiritual significance on the occasion of Ganga Dusshera. It is believed that on the same day of Ganga Dusshera, Goddess Ganga in the form of the river descended to earth from heaven. . Know more please follow this link: The Powerful Ganges

The Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula Bridge are the most famous places in rishikesh to visit. The Ram Jhula from Rishikesh in the Indian state, Uttarakhand, is an iron suspension bridge across the River Ganges. The bridge connects Sivananda Nagar in Muni Ki Reti district, Tehri Garhwal, to Swargashram district, Pauri Garhwal, from west to east. It was constructed in 1986 and is one of Rishikesh's iconic landmarks. On both sides of the Ganges are many Hindu ashrams and religious centres. It's also a connecting bridge to Gita Bhawan, Parmarth Niketan and the other churches in Swargashram between Sivananda Ashram, in Muni Ki Reti. Although similar in design, this bridge is larger than the 2 kilometres upstream Lakshman Jhula. The 750-foot span of this bridge is built (230 m). On this bridge, motorcycles are permitted to run. Ganga Aarati at Triveni Ghat, Rishikesh.
Triveni Ghat plays an essential role in Hindu Mythology and is also mentioned in the epics Ramayan and Mahabharat.  The Triveni Ghat is also where the chattri of Lord Krishna was constructed. In fact, the ghat is considered to be the cremation ground for the great Lord Krishna. Along with the holy dips, the devotees also make offerings to the river in the form of milk, while feeding the fishes in the Ghat too.
