The Birth of the Hippie
Hippies were looking for an alternative way to live & valued freedom, nature, peace, sharing and spirituality. Hippies wore clothes that they felt expressed themselves and didn't wear clothes it fit in with the regular fashion trends. Concerts were a place for hippies to protest, socialise, dance & take drugs. Using drugs made hippies feel like they were rebelling against society.

101517 | Trendsetter’s Bazaar
We went early around 12nn to beat the crowd and to claim the prize I won from the IG giveaway of @trendsetterteam and @skingenie. I was contemplating on going because of the inclement weather but I’m kind of glad that we still went.
There were lots to see, online shops have gathered into one place and you don’t even have to pay for shipping if you like something from them. You just have to pay the entrance ticket for PHP 100. There’d be another Trendsetter’s Bazaar on November 3-5, 2017 at SMX Convention Center, you can check their Facebook page for more details.
Faux fur for flat lays.
Tons of adorable notebooks and stationery.
This is quite small in real life but I guess it’s just proportionate to usage since you’ll only need a drop or two to highlight your face. I saw one youtube vlogger using this and I would buy this if I was into makeup. It really does wonders to your face. lol
There’s a whole stall selling cases but almost everything are for iPhones.
There are also clothes for your pets ranging from PHP 250-500+.
I saw this wool coat at Greenhills but of better quality.
Dainty rings for PHP 250 each. I kind of wanted one but it was kinda pricey for me and I know I’ll be able to see these at Divisoria.
Customizable wallets, passport holders, etc. You can chose the charms you want to put.
There’s this shop that sells K Beauty and Skin Care, I just forgot the name of the store. Aside from the regular sized products, they also sell these samples for PHP 20 each. Super affordable. I bought two samples of Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Cleansing Foam because I’ve been wanting to try that product.
I’m a fan of Skin Genie’s Lip and Cheek Stain Alive! I’ve been using mine (Creamy Peach) since March and recently, I discovered that it’s better to put on loose powder on your lips before you apply for full coverage. Plus, the tint won’t just settle in the middle of your lips.
I wonder what these Liquor Soaps smell like.
Barney from How I Met Your Mother has this term ‘Cheerleader Effect’, a cognitive bias which makes you think that individuals are more attractive when in a group. Same goes with these clothes, the visual merchandise of this store did its job well. It makes you want to buy something. But when you hold a piece, it loses its charm and makes you think if you really want it or if you’re just swayed by the overall look of the place.
Stranger Things inspired.
The navy blue shirt is the only article of clothing I bought. Aside from the cheap price, it’s the only one that suited me out of all the clothes I tried on.
I tried on a shirt from Mura Clothing that looked like that pink one. I liked it but the fitting wasn’t great on me.
For all the beauty junkies out there, this place is a haven for you. Lots of makeup brushes and tools.
Definitely a place for girls who love affordable clothing and adorable designs as this shop is pretty famous for that.
These parkas are reaaaally nice and super affordable too. I would buy one if I didn’t already have one.
There was also the Travel Sale Fair where luggages were almost 70% off, discounted airfare tickets, and various promos on tours and activities. Overall, it was an okay experience. I’m not much of a shopper and only got the stuff I listed down prior to going. Going here was a good reminder that I don’t need many things in life. Bazaar haul on my next post.

A date with le self 2017. 💓 Idk if it’s just my thing, pero I really love spending me time! A perfect example was this day, I went to the trendsetters bazaar at SMX Convention —ALONE. Yup, it’s kind of sad though, kasi pag may cute stuff i’m like “AY ANG CUTE!!” to just myself. Lol. Pero hindi naman ‘to first time na nagbazaar ako alone, and naenjoy ko naman. 💓🤗 Same day, I went to eat sa Burger King alone. Kind of loser, pero first time ko kumain sa Burger King. Hahahaha! Nag iikot lang ako sa MOA waiting sa sched ng Coco, and nakita ko burger king and since kakabukas lang ng Bk sa Lucena, sobrang daming tao. Naisipan ko itry dito. Hahahaha. And last stop, I watched Coco alone 💓 This was always my thing. To watch movies alone! As usual, sobrang nagenjoy ako. Despite the fact na up until now masakit parin ang epekto ng coco. Hahaha (don’t wanna spoil) So ‘yun, wala sigurong point ‘tong post na to. Pero gusto ko lang ishare since everytime I spend time alone, I always get “Bat mag isa ka?” And gusto ko lang ipakita na YUP, I DO THINGS ALONE. YUP, IT’S OKAY. and YUP, THERE’S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT *wink.

L I F E L A T E L Y
It’s been 3 months since I last posted here, so hi! Haha. I’ve been very busy with life that I never had time to blog again. Plus, I just started my own Youtube channel so whenever I don’t blog.. I film. LOL JOKE HEHE
So last May 14, 2017, we went to the World Trade Center for Trendsetter’s Bazaar. We didn’t bring Gabriel with us because he just did undergo a circumcision and he can’t walk properly. So after shopping, we did a lil shoot along the parking lot.
My mom took photos of me and my sister and she’s really improving her photography skills, what do you guys think?
I liked my outfit because it’s light and flowy. And because it’s summer, wearing thin fabrics are a must. I feel like going to Coachella because of my outerwear. Haha joke. Kidding aside, I am uncontrollably gaining too much weight and it freaks me out. I keep eating and eating ( who hates to eat, anyway?) but I was just reminded of this verse in Psalm 139:4 that says “ I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” this passage just means that you shouldn’t let anyone define you. You are made by God, he made you by His hands. There is nothing ugly or not pleasing in His eyes, because You are His work. You are loved and valuable to Him. Just wanna share though, haha. I hope you guys enjoyed reading!

Trendsetter’s Bazaar Haul 2017
It’s much more of a mini haul than the usual haul you usually see on youtube and other blogs because I pretty much have all I need.
I got this ribbed semi-crop top for only PHP 99. It’s stretchy and very lightweight, a quality you’ll rarely find in a hundred peso clothing.
Skin Genie’s underarm scrub. I already finished a jar I bought at Shoptitude Espana and getting this with deal is one of the reasons I wanted to go to the bazaar because it’s buy one take one for PHP 200,
Meowliner Eyeliner Stamp from Skin Potions. Definitely an innovative product and very useful for those like me who have a hard time getting their wings even. Got it for a special bazaar price of PHP 280 instead of PHP 350.
This eyeliner has two ends one with the wing stamp and one with the felt brush tip. I watched a lot of Youtube reviews on this one and I wanted to try it. So I bought one and wished I didn’t. The wing stamp is quite large for my preference and the ink in general doesn’t easily gets smudged and erased with few rubs. If I’ll use this, I’ll just have to apply a different liquid eyeliner on top of the stamp. My verdict is pretty much the same with other people who reviewed this, I want to like this product but it still needs to be improved.
I joined a giveaway contest from @trendsetterteam x @skingenie on Instagram. The description goes something like this, “500 peso worth of products” so I thought it would be like a voucher or something and I’ll get to pick the products I want. I even listed down what I wanted to get. lol. So when I claimed the prize in the giveaway booth, I didn’t expect that it would all be lip tints. I already have and use the Creamy Peach tint so tints are the last in my list. But hey, it’s free stuff so I’m not complaining.
I kept ‘creamy peach’ and ‘tulip red’ for myself and gave the rest to my mom and cousins. I’ve been loving the tulip red tint because it has an orange undertone and it’s not much of a bold color when applied.
Samplers are heaven-sent because I’ve got to try this Innisfree Jeju volcanic pore cleansing foam for only PHP 20! I forgot the name of the shop where I got it but they have lots of korean skin care stuff, samplers and regular ones alike. When I first used this product, it smelled like a freshly opened balikbayan box. Amoy states. Haha it smells really good and cleanses your face really well. I think it removed a lot of sebum on my face because it felt smooth after washing. It’s a really great foam cleanser. You only need a pea size for your whole face and it foams so well. I’ve been using one 4ml sampler for about 10-12 days now and I think it will last until 15-17 days. I would definitely purchase a bottle when I finish all my samplers. So yeah, those are all the stuff I got and I think I wouldn’t go to any bazaar for a long time. I’m already good and I don’t need anything else as of the moment.
