going on a journey (trying to make a species sheet for raptans) so i have to finally standardise mockley's design and think about scary things like developing vaguely believable anatomy for a made up beast. and i also have to put clothes on the made up beast.

My bff @rexscanonwife commissioned @reallyhardydraws to draw my version of Gar and Malta from Smuggler's Run!
They look so good ; w ; I've been staring at this for like two days, no cap
What an age we live in where we can just pay people online to draw us some excellent art of characters we want to look at 😌😌

side doors on the bus i was just on got stuck open -- the alarm was going and the bus driver was trying all the emergency controls but couldn't get them to close. everyone was starting to ring ppl telling them they were gonna be late or whatever and i just hooked my umbrella handle around the pneumatic arm and manually pulled the doors closed and got them unstuck
literally had ppl cheering me on as i was pulling and even got a 'it takes a woman!' from someone and i have never been nor will i ever be that cool again in my entire life

Big Oil faces a tiny foe on the streets of Asia and Africa. The noisy, noxious vehicles that run on two and three wheels, carrying billions of people daily, are quietly going electric — in turn knocking down oil demand by one million barrels a day this year. ... The global majority doesn’t roll on four wheels. In Nairobi and Hanoi, motorcycles serve as taxis. In Mumbai, scooters can carry a family of four. In China, electric bicycles are how millions commute. “Electric bikes are quieter, much more efficient and good for the environment,” said Jesse Forrester, the founder of Mazi Mobility, which has 60 electric motorcycle taxis, known as boda-bodas, on the roads in Nairobi. “There’s a quiet revolution now in Kenya driving this transformation for the future.” .... In Darbhanga, a new acid-battery rickshaw, like the one Mr. Rai drives, sells for around 175,000 rupees, or $2,100. That’s half the price of a new rickshaw powered by natural gas. Charging the battery costs 20 rupees (25 cents), one-fourth of the price of filling a gas tank. The rebates seem to be working. Reliance Industries, India’s biggest company, is converting its three-wheeled cargo vehicles from gas to electric. Food delivery services are going electric as quickly as possible.

I've been out of the hobby for almost a decade, still lurking and I still have to transport my dolls sometimes. I'm going to share a tip: Tripod carrying case bags. They come in a variety of sizes, are well made, cheap AF, and are decently padded. Might be a stretch for beefy dolls but great for twinks. Hope this helps someone looking at those 100$+ BJD carriers.

Bad, paraphrased: it would be nice and help traffic if they had a bunch of self driving cars that went around a loop picking people up and dropping them where they need
The chat:... do you mean a metro

Europe, it's been real, but I also walked 100 miles around your cities over the past week and I think my legs will die if I do not leave now. Adiós, au revoir, until next time.

did you guys know that in canada anyone can lay a mining claim to any land and the land owner is obliged to let them do an exploratory dig there. literally a mining company can just show up and start digging up your yard and then say they want a mine there.

Okay but hear me out: seat cane but putting my knee on it on the dance floor to have both hands free
I've never been self-conscious or had a problem taking my cane onto the dance floor but it occasionally becomes a balance issue when you're trying to move that much...
All it would take is a harness/backpack type rig to carry it when I'm using my regular cane so I don't smack people's shins in the gallery

Nigerian saleswoman Ivy Junaid says her daily half-an-hour commute from mainland Lagos to the city's island business district has changed her life. What was once often a three-hour nightmare drive to work with a pre-dawn start and gnarly traffic has become a quick sprint skimming across the waters of Lagos lagoon by boat. "You can actually get out of bed when you need to. You have breakfast at home, strut in here, strut into the boat and 30 minutes across the water," the telecoms employee said. "It's really a life-saving situation for most of us." Flanked by lagoon waters and the Atlantic Ocean, Nigeria's economic capital Lagos has long used its waterways as an alternative to the megacity's chaotic roads. But soon more commuters like Junaid in the city of 20 million could be travelling by boat under plans to massively expand waterway transport and multiply passenger numbers. With an around 410-million-euro ($455-million) investment from France's AFD development agency and EU institutions, the progamme -- known as Omi Eko or Lagos Water in Yoruba language -- also aims to tackle carbon emissions with a fleet of electric-powered ferries. Whereas most Lagosians live on the mainland part of the city, a lot of offices and workplaces are on the islands area -- Victory Island, Ikoyi, Lagos Island and Lekki -- linked by a series of bridges.

Currently on my bi-monthly "why doesn't the US have high speed rail, the auto industry is personally trying the screw me over" doomer mindset arc (patent pending) while watching FD Signifier and I quickly came the realization that the only way the US gov would actually build better public transport is if they realized they could somehow use it as an excuse to bulldoze every major black community

E Rickshaw Loader: Affordable and Efficient Solutions
Looking for an eco-friendly and cost-effective transportation solution? The e rickshaw loader is the answer. These versatile vehicles have revolutionized urban logistics with their affordability and efficiency. Understanding the e rickshaw loader price is crucial for businesses and individuals seeking to invest in this sustainable technology.
The e rickshaw loader price varies depending on several factors, including the features and battery capacity. Basic models are more affordable, while premium versions with extended battery life and advanced features might cost more. Despite the initial investment, the low running and maintenance costs make e rickshaw loaders a smart choice.
Additionally, government incentives and subsidies for electric vehicles can significantly reduce the e rickshaw loader price, making them even more accessible. These incentives aim to promote green transportation and reduce urban pollution, aligning with global sustainability goals.
Investing in an e rickshaw loader not only supports environmental conservation but also offers practical benefits like reduced fuel costs and lower maintenance expenses. As cities continue to embrace green technology, the demand for e rickshaw loaders is expected to rise, making now the perfect time to understand and leverage the best e rickshaw loader options.
