also while i'm thinking of asoiaf, i think it's fucking hilarious that we're getting a SECOND cookbook before we're getting winds.....
#torn between '12 years is a ludicrously long time to take to write a book'#and 'look. i get it. i really do. even when i don't have a million side projects to run i would probably also take that long to write a boo#this said i hope he is keeping detailed notes of where he wants the story to go just....you know. just in case#i know he's not the type of writer to have a detailed outline#(which is clearly biting him in the ass lmao)#but like. yknow#ftr i do think we'll get twow. it's....anything after that that idk about
