So I was listening to the ninjago songs/soundtracks while reading fanfic earlier, as you do, and one of them mentioned the memory-causing line ‘the best way to defeat your enemy is to make him your friend’ (or smthn like that) from s1.

And that got me thinking, yet-fricken-again, about @elementalmasteroffandom ‘s villain jay theory (if he doesn’t go canonically evil at this point i will be dissapointed (although a massive amount of angst (and well-handled trauma) will also be acceptable)). 

I was thinkin about that line. Also, Tommy said that we’d be getting a lot of back history (lines from the past, smthn ab how wu and garmadon used to play pranks on each other, etc.) in the coming seasons, so making your enemy your friend could be mentioned again.

But with villain jay, it would be something more like, ‘the best way to gain an enemy is to have him be your friend’. And then the parallels (AKA the 1 parallel, probably more tbh) between Lloyd and Jay popped up. The wiki says that s14 will be a Lloyd season, so the ‘making your enemy your friend’ could definitely come into play, because Lloyd was the reason Wu said that line in the first place. 

Lloyd was an enemy they made their friend, and Jay could be a friend they make their enemy. 

Also, s15 will probably be a Nya season, and Tommy did say something along the lines of ‘do you bastards want a happy ending or a sad one for s14, i have plans for both, hahahah *evil noises*’. 

Sad ending would probably be Jay dying at the end of the season, and s15 would probably be the ninja trying to hold themselves together and realize that they fucked up before jay comes back due to the Power of Friendship. 

Happy(ish) ending would be Jay realizing he’s gone overboard right after he does smthn big to ninjago (tommy did say it was going to be threatened again very soon (damn you tommy and your vague scary tweets)), the others apologizing, and then s15 is just the ninja trying to stop whatever jay did while our blue boi tries to figure himself out more.

My brain: didn’t you think that tommy anderson tweeted that there would be a lot of black history in coming seasons of ninjago instead of what he actually said, which was back history? and you believed that there would be black history for a few weeks until you decided to check again?
