one thing i went down a short rabbit hole on is kim's camera's 'ampoules.' not sure why the game calls them that; they're flashbulbs in our world. learned some neat little history about them and how they were made over the decades

#aiden's monologuing #ailb #ailbde #this was harder to find info on for me than it should have been because i didn't know what the ampoules were actually referencing lol #if i want to be really pedantic and specific i think the ones kim uses are the ones that have a plastic/lacquer covering?#to prevent shattering. the game notes the ampoule breaks #he would also need a blue filter for color film #not sure why he even felt the need to use the flash though. unless you're supposed to inspect the body at night?#nor do i know why he keeps the camera in aluminim foil. no idea #the flashbulbs (and camera) could be carried in much safer ways #the camera itself might be based on a very old polaroid #i want to give kim a little shoulder bag. or a fanny pack #also the photo he gives harry is b&w and a close-up. but the photo he takes is in color and full-body. weird
