Done with Inkdeath! As I thought, I'm sad to say goodbye to this world :( But it was soooo good to reread it and relive all the stuff that made me crazy as a kid hehe
#liveshrimping#I kind of wish Meggie had more to do! Inkheart ended with her picking up writing and I don't know if CF forgot about it or didn't want#to make her too OP? Or maybe Inkheart was supposed to be a standalone book at first? I don't know but such an ending /begged/#for her to try her hand at writing! I would've preferred her last reading in the book to be from her own words rather than the mysterious#words left by a White Lady that aren't even mentioned again#and even the 'and they lived happily ever after in a beautiful world' final chapted doesn't mention Meggie's writing! if anything Elinor is#the one telling the young Folchart about the 'real' world and Fenoglio is posed as the only one who could help them visit it#why does Meggie have to be Doria's Wife Who Gives Him Ideas For Inventions. why can't she be the Inkworld's most famous storyteller!#pour feminism into the hearts of mennnnnnn#etc etc.#it would've been so cool. AH WELL. STILL
