i hate when people (especially men) say shiv made the choice at the end for her baby. like i hate that. she made the choice for a lot of reasons, like. she was mad at kendall winning and didn't want to just hand him the crown just because he's the man between the two of them when she fought so hard for it for so long. she maybe did it because she saw kendall turn into logan. she did it because she probably genuinely knew he wouldnt be good at it. some of that was rational and some of that was probably irrational and driven by a lot of emotion.

like. chosing between kendall and the man who she put on the throne just so he would betray her in the last second is such a brutal choice, and she chose the two men who betrayed her, because of kendall. like this always comes down to the siblings and she would rather be the CEOs wife and become her own mother than kendall become CEO and pretend to be his father. like. she does not care about tom enough to be hurt by his betrayal, nor does she care which of these choices is better for him

but she sure as fuck didn't do it for her baby. she does not care about that baby. neither does tom, really, but when people in the show say she would be a bad mother that is... kind of true? she doesn't really seem to want to be a mother and does it like a lot of "woman stuff" she does - she didnt care at all about her wedding, she doesn't care for the place her and tom moved into, and she doesn't really care about having a baby and being a mother. like, yeah, of course she's hurt when people say shed be a bad mother, but she probably still isnt all that interested in being a mother? like. there is no way in hell shiv thought about that baby in that board meeting, like she sat down calmly before the meeting and then made a pro and con list about making kendall CEO and then came to the level-headed conclusion that tom would be overall the lesser evil and better option for her baby. that woman? shiv roy? for her baby?

it's just so out of character for her that i can only blame sexism and not understanding the character because how do you look at shioban roy saying 'i dont think youd be good at it' and 'i love you but i cannot stomach you' after having lost so close at the finish line and using all the power she has so that her brother doesn't get a victory he doesnt deserve, even if the alternative is literally the worst 2 people it could be for her personally. just the idea that this was a purely rational choice made by her so that her baby has a better life is so funny to me like hello

OK AU IDEA!

Very rushed I'm just writing this down because I came up with this 30 minutes ago and I have not thought it out very well and I'm too lazy to really double check my writing so probably a lot of grammatical errors in spelling errors or something I don't know lol

We know from one voice line from retribution between Genji and Reyes that talon tried to partner with the shimada clan but sojiro declined as they're view didnt aline.

Well what if he had agreed?

So Genji and Hanzo were raised in talon made to be not only shimada assassins but talon operative assassins so they were somehow even more brutal and inhumane than the shimada clan already was.

How Genji would end up joining OverWatch would be during an OverWatch mission to break into a talon base something goes wrong and one of them (Cass or Angela probably) can't make it back to the dropship or they're trapped or something, and genji knowing if talon finds out what he did they would kill him decides against his better judgment and decides to help the OverWatch agent he has no idea who they are.

And once he gets the agent back to the dropship Reagan's turns to him and offers him a place in OverWatch because he knows fine well talon/the shimada are going to have him killed for betraying them, and genji agrees. And eventually when they get back to base and after Reyes has finished convincing Morrison, once they start filling out his medical paperwork and a whole bunch of other stuff Reyes finds out that Genji is a cyborg.

And instead of becoming a cyborg once he was in OverWatch because his brother tried to kill him like normal, since he and Hanzo were raised in an even more violent and bloodthirsty environment they would often be made by each other and whoever lost would be punished either through extensive additional training, have something taken away that's the basic necessity, and eventually after those punishments weren't working and Genji was still losing to Hanzo, they started to replace parts. (Think like nebula and gamora from guardians of the galaxy) and since doomfist's family owns a cybernetics company it isn't too much of a stretch that they would have someone who could replace parts.

And the reason they were so easy with allowing an ex-talon operative to join OverWatch was because Baptiste had already joined at this point, and was the medic of black watch (moira is already gone at this point, they realized she didn't exactly have normal limits a lot faster). So they offered Genji a role in black watch alongside Cassidy, Baptiste, and sombra (because I want her to be here too). Since Genji already was wearing a mask when they met him, they didn't take it as very much of a surprise when he requested that his new black watch attire be armor and the helmet and you couldn't see his face or even eyes, they willingly obliged especially considering they allowed Cassidy to dress like a cowboy they couldn't exactly say no to the cyborg ninja to allow him to dress like a cyborg ninja, so his armor was made and it looks like his current armor but black watch color palette and instead of his normal hoodie and joggers he has black watch attire and looks more like he's on a black ops strike team. This black watch strike team would train alongside the OverWatch strike team and everyone even a lot of the black watch members at first the longest time thought Genji was an omnic because he never took off his armor in front of people except for Cassidy because they were roommates and Genji didn't sleep in the armor. The other black watch members found out a lot faster than the OverWatch team obviously from being around each other more but none of them ever talked about the fact Genji was actually a human so everyone still just assumed outside of black watch he was an omnic.

Also Genji's cybernetics look more along the lines of sojourns, where you can tell their cybernetics but they look more human than pure robotic. Also since he never went through a Playboy phase he starts off as more cold, aggressive, and quiet. But eventually when he starts warming up to everyone and learns that you can actually be a nice person and not constantly have to worry about someone trying to murder you or having to murder someone else he eventually shows off his more warm bubbly caring side to his personality.

Hanzo in this AU is still a part of talon but he is very internally conflicted because she does care about his brother in a weird way because even though he knows he calls them a lot of pain he still does care about him, and the fact he knows he calls him a lot of pain and creates a lot of inner turmoil in him that he is trying to push down but it's getting near a breaking point. And he is slowly becoming more and more uncertain of Talon's actions, with the final breaking point being when he almost kills his own brother during another OverWatch mission a couple years later and the shock of both realizing that his brother is alive, is on the other side, and that he almost killed him freaks him out to the point that he ends up running away from talon on his own. Not to join OverWatch at least not immediately he goes about by himself for a while trying to figure out reality and get a grip on what things are actually like because he is no idea because both of them had been brainwashed so much to the point they had no concept of what the real world is like.

Also probably kiriko would be a part of talon too as one of the assassins, and is probably the last of the three to leave because she has her mother still tying her there, and the anger of her believing that Genji and Hanzo just abandoned her when that is not what they were doing what was an accidental side product of what they were actually trying to do.

The funeral was small, family and close friends only. Alicent refused to make a spectacle of her father's passing, even if he was Hand of the King. Few words were said and the only one that truly cried was Alicent's only daughter Helaena. Quick and quiet was Otto's funeral, not for lack of respect, but to not show weakness to Rhaenyra and her family. Alicent's older brother, Gwayne, had come for the funeral. She knew that a new Hand must be appointed, lest it be filled with a spy of Rhaenyra's. She had gone to her brother and begged him, she couldn't bare to have a weak spot in her position.

"Please, Oldtown will do just fine under our cousins rule. You are the only one fit to be placed as Hand." Alicent held his hands in hers, pleading. Gwayne sighed, he knew how fragile the throne was right now. "I can bring my wife, and son?" he asked. "Absolutely!" Alicent beamed, knowing this news would mean he would accept.

Weeks later, Lord and Lady Hightower moved into the Tower of the Hand. Gwayne was busy with his work and had been all but neglecting his wife. She knew how important his work was but she couldn't help but feel ignored and lonely. She enjoyed the time she spent with her niece, Helaena. Her hobby was quite peculiar, but as long as she was happy. Her eldest nephew Aegon was certainly a piece of work, they hardly spoke aside from formalities, and he was hardly ever present unless called upon by his mother. Her second nephew though, was an enigma. The lady could never tell how he felt about her, he was always around though never seemed hostile. Maybe Aemond didnt trust her? She didn't think he'd have a reason not to, she is his uncles wife after all.

Everywhere the Lady went, Aemond was not far behind. Sometimes she would notice him and sometimes she would not. The lady became accustomed to her personal body guard, he was quite handsome after all; though she would never admit that out loud. She felt uneasy, as if she's betraying her husband. Her nephew is much younger than her, most of all he is her nephew. The lady knew that the Targaryen's often married relatives, keeping the bloodline pure is a big part of Valerion culture. Her faith of The Seven frowned upon incest, it is punishable by death. Still she couldn't help but smile when she saw her nephew, Aemond was something like she had never seen. Looks completely foreign to her, eyes of violet, silver hair; Even his unfortunate scar made him all the more enticing.

Months Aemond had spent in her company, joining her for walks, or late nights in the library. They spoke often about everything and nothing all at once. She would read him tales of old Valyria, and in turn he would share is stories of battles. Always laughing and smiling with one another, feeling began to blossom in the Lady's heart. Her eyes always wandered over his features when she thought he was not looking. Aemond had noticed the way she looked at him, he may be without an eye but that just made him all the more observant. He had been infatuated with his Lady Aunt every since she arrived in King's Landing, her beauty took his breath away. He had to have her.

One night while reading together in the library, Aemond finally allowed himself to be caught staring at her. The Lady's eyes quickly darted back to the book, her cheeks getting hot. "May ask you question?" Aemond asked, never taking his eyes away from her. The Lady nodded, curious as to what he could possibly ask, perhaps it was innocent and her feelings were one sided after all. "Are you happy with your husband?" her stomach dropped and she began to stumble over her words. Aemond was beginning to worry that he may have misread her after all. "Well, I-I wouldn't say I'm unhappy. We've been married so long it feels more like an obligation than a partnership." the Lady rushed her words out, not wanting to speak ill of her husband who had only ever been kind to her. Though as kind as he was, she couldn't say she loved him. " I only ask because it seems you spend more time with me than with him." Aemond's words had meant to be a jab at his uncle. "I don't hate him if that's what you're asking." the Lady seemed defensive, she didn't want more turmoil brought into the castle. "I didn't ask your opinion. I asked if you were happy." Aemond placed a hand on her knee. She was tense, she looked at his hand on her lap then back to Aemond's face. "I could be happier." she said in almost a whisper. Aemond got closer to her. " Could I help with that?" their faces less than a foot from each other now. The Lady closed the space between them, her lips gently pressed against his. Aemond eagerly responded, the hand on her knee rising to cup her jaw. For every deep kiss he gave her, she placed a smaller more gentler one; like a signiture. Signing him like he was hers, Aemond would happily be hers for all eternity.

Richard (III) Character Analysis;

Richard (III) is the main character of Baraou No Souretsu (Requiem of the Rose King) and its really well written manga and has deep characters. I started this manga cause of main character’s similarity with Sohma Akito from Fruits Basket. Lonely character who wants to be loved, hatred of their mother, unhealthy admiration and legacy of father, gender issues and unhealthy relationships, basically a tragedy. Manga has its own plot and some strategy for the sake of throne fights but story also focus on relationship between characters. Now, i wanna talk about Richard and everythings/somethings i wanna say about him.

Family;

The most tragic and ironic thing about Richard is that all he wants is just to be loved but at the same time, he keeps pushing people who loved him.

Which actually accurate reaction cause of his trauma. Since the day he was born, his mother hated him cause he is intersex. That mother's hatred, the fact that he has to live his life while hiding something about his identify lead him to be cold and closed towards other people. This is why even though he had people who treat nice towards him or even his brothers, he is still cold. Cause they DONT know ALL of him, that there is still a side he has to hide from them.

This is why only person who accepts him (except their servant Catesby), despite knowing his "secret" is his father. Which is why his father become light for Richard, that he is equal to god for him. Because to Richard, he is "demon" and "Real god" is no exist for him. Except his father. This is why his life purpose become his father. That his father, his light deserves the best. Even becoming a king. After all, his father said  "there is heaven in that crown", didnt he?

That fairy tale type of logic, something his father told to Richard, he still believes in him. Thats why he wanted his father to become king. And later he killed an innocent man to reach out to him. Thats why again later he was so obsessed with killing the King Henry for the sake of revenge of his father's death.

There is also a scene that we saw Richard kissing his father's death body. Well, for every child, their parents are their first love in a way. Richard's messed up admiration of his father, cause he is everything to him, including his complicated "sexual identify" issues, they all combined in here.

Richard also probably felt envy towards his brothers cause they are ‘normal’ and he is ‘not’ and probably cause of loyal family thing, there was probably a distance between siblings.

Its also weird that Richard betrayed his second old brother and let him die but he tried to protect his oldest big brother. The reason might be because his oldest one looked similar to his father.

The Pygmalion effect, or Rosenthal effect,  is a psychological phenomenon in which high expectations lead to improved performance in a given area. (Source).

And we also see how much his mother's words affected him during the story. That he is demon, he doesnt deserves and cant be loved. Because of some foolish witch curse, his mother basically ruins Richard’s life. If you constantly say a thing, then you eventually turn it into a reality. Self-fulfilling prophecy. Which is what his mother did with Richard. Turning hım to "demon" in a way. Its no concidence Richard later betrayed his brothers, just like his mother said he will. Richard just became what other people expected from him.

Though, Richard is actually just really kind, pure, innocent kid in deep, thats who he really is.

Henry;

Henry who has very weak mentality and is a lot older than Richard, they meet and having a "romeo-Julliet" type of relationship. Someone just naturally treats kind towards Richard and of course, Richard run away. He doesnt let his guard easiely. He does his best to stay away from him. Even though, he was affected by Henry's kindness. He craves for that affection. Its similar to crush and father figure. But Richard doesnt öpen himself and his priority is of course his father. They met more than once and Richard ran away from Henry over and over. After all, he never imagined normal life, he is convinced the fact that he cant be loved with his "true identify".

Though, eventually his cold hearth melts and he slowly opens up to him. He promises to meet him again. Even after he learnt that Henry is the enemy. He still come to him and show his "true identify". He was ready to let go of all revenge, pain, everything but Henry wasnt, i guess. He even says the thing he desired the most. "Love me, please". Showing his weakest side at first time. But it doesnt end well. It ends with the worst way as possible. Because of his mother's manipulations. And that moment, Richard "dies" and "kills" Henry.

Its ironic that they both die in a way and they reborn with New personalities. Henry lost his memory and become assasin. Richard become "demon", everything that his mother told. He actually being destruction, even betraying his brothers.

He wants to become king. As much as the reason seems like his brothers arent fit that role, he fits, thats not the Real reason. There is nothing left for Richard in this world except the fairy tale story his father told, that there is heaven in that crown. Also, as person who carries the name of the king Richard, his father's legacy, Richard goes after the crown and does anything to reach out to that, hoping to find happiness but he doesnt.

(Ironic part of Henry is that maybe things wouldnt happenned, if he didnt ignore the pain of people around him which is related to tragedy between him and Richard. One try to run away from legacy, pain and other try to run away from love, happiness.)

And later after meeting with Henry, Richard never opens up to him and ignore him during the story. Though, we cant blame him since Henry lost his memories was his way of escaping from reality. And at the end of the story, Henry sacrifices himself to help/save Richard. He makes enemy thinks he is Richard by wearing his ring and clothes or something and well, Henry dies.

Anne;

Next, Anne. Only female character Richard had some romantic feelings at some point. He even called her as his first love which also imply that he saw Henry more as father figure rather than as lover.

Actually those two could really work well cause of how stable and healthy their relationship is. That they could be really good partners in any way.

Anne also loved him too but they both separated cause of annoying misunderstandings. They both thought other one used them. Richard who was already closed and scared of that Anne wont accept his "true identify", he leaves. Lack of communication is the main issue between Richard and Anne, that they never opened each others. This is why Richard leaves and Anne agrees with marriage with Edward and later sleping with him cause she thinks Richard will never love him anyway.

Even after later, after Anne married with Edward and Richard killed Edward with "mercy killing", even though he didnt kill her father (it was Buckingham who killed her father), he never try to fix the misunderstandings and lead her to not see his feelings, pain. (Note;Anne and Edward also never tried to fix misunderstandings eithr and let Richard to think that they betrayed him so.)

 This is why their marriage becomes the cold one, they still have respects but lack the emotional connection. Because Richard closed his hearth again after his trauma with Henry's rejection.

If only he talks and open himself, they could be amazing couple. Yes, Anne had feelings for Edward at some point but still, she was still have feelings for Richard and that feelings could easiely turn into love again. Anne could eventually accept his "true identify" too. Cause later in story, she learns, yes her first reaction is running away but eventually she accepts him.

Richard spends most of his times with being king issues instead of connecting with Anne and her son. Anne becomes lonely and really exhausted cause of loneliness. They only opened each others after it becomes too late. Anne dies cause of some illness.

Edward;

Unexpectedly, he acts really brave for his love, especially compared to other characters. Yeah, he does love Richard cause he think Richard is woman (not knowing that he is intersex) but still, high possibility, Edward still would accept Richard and love him with his all or at least would stay as friends with him.

Their moments are entertaining and funny. He constantly flirts with hRichard but of course, Richard ignores it. 1- Edward is enemy 2- He thinks Edward wont accept his intersex body. Again, Richard ignores all of it, pushing people/Edward away and focusing his father’s legacy.

After learning that Edward is enemy, he also assumes that his enemies (Henry, Anne, Edward) are constantly playing with his hearth. That they are using him. Hurting him. He doesnt even think the possibility of being loved by them.

And later, Edwards gets killed by second brother of Richard. He never have a chance to tell his true feelings towards Richard, sadly. And Richard gives him a mercy killing in the end.

Another case of Richard misunderstanding (Its not Richard’s fault though) and pushing people who loves him. He learns Edward’s love until its too late. Its really a tragedy.

Buckingham;

Unlike others, the things Richard and Buckingham come together is for the sake of crown. As much as Buckingham has taken interest in him since the start, Richard accepts him when he lost his ‘soul’ and accepts to becoming a demon. They work together for crown. Buckingham becomes his kingmaker. Its parallel to king Richard’s relationship with Warwick/king’s kingmaker who is also killed by Buckingham.

Though, later Buckingham finds Richard’s secret and they start a sexual relationship. (He is also cheating his wife in a way). For Richard, first person who accepts this body. He view it as sin but still eventually accept it.

Richard has no self worth after all, this is why he dehumanize himself constantly in the story, using himself as weapon/tool to live in this world, otherwise it would be too painfull for hım. After this, we see Richard’s being more peacefull with his ‘woman identify’ too.

Richard also start developing feelings towards him and even comparing him with Henry. Confusing two Henry’s with each others. (After all, they have same names). They both opened up to each others, Richard even gets pregnant from Buckingham but later apperantly, king issues becomes more important than it.

Buckingham betrays and he sentences to death. Richard becomes the one who kill him, its also a present and goodbye in a way, i guess.

After becoming king and especially after the death of Buckingham, Richard starts to questioning his desire to become a king.

Realising that there is not a heaven in this crown. He is missing his wife Anne, his son Edward, Buckingham’s hugging him. He misses the affection he felt by people who loved him. He realised that he lost them. And its killing him inside.

Catesby;

Last one and also the most loyal person in Richard’s life. He knows Richard’s secret and accepts him since the beginning but he never opens his true feelings towards him until its too late, he just silently stays by his side because he thinks he can never be his light even though he could be, if he just opened himself to Richard. And Richard also never think the possibility of Catesby could accept him that way, even though Catesby proved his royalty towards him many times. In the end, Catesby always stays by Richard’s side, even in the end of story. (Personally, i wish those two to become together despite age difference since he was loyal to the most and yknow, boy needs happiness and love but well, this is all we got.)

Edward and Beth;

Not just those people but also Richard connected with some other characters. His non-biological son Edward and his oldest brother’s daugher Beth. They clearly fond of Richard very much.

Edward even say that Richard is his light, its a parallel scene to Richard’s relationship with father.

Beth also chose her uncle Richard over even her own mother.

But during the story, Richard hardly ever interacts and spend times with them.  And even at the end of story, Richard is not together with them.

And;

Another interesting and tragic fact is little thing Richard did in story has high effect on plot. He simply motivates his father to becoming a king but his father dies. He kills innocent man while rushing to save his father and the wife of that man he killed came back for revenge and cause trouble for kingdom. Etc etc. Richard is also parallel with witches in story in a way cause they are not accepted by this world. (I loved the scene where Witch Joan hugged Richard.)

Richard also most likely dies at the end but i would like to think that thats not what happen. Its really a tragedy. Richard and those people deserves better.

There might be things that i forgot to say but for now thats it. I also might edit things later. Its painfull cause Richard and all those characters desevred better. Ending raws arent translated yet but this is what happens anyway. I just wanted to share and unfortunately it was really hard to finding pictures i mentioned/i wanted to show so this is all we have. Well, for now thats it. This is really painfull and tragic. I usually hate shoujo but i really enjoyed the kind of harem part of story, lol, tragedy part was really painfull though.

Richard and all those character deserves better. And i will imagine an ending where they find happiness together.

She watched Anakin walk in guilt ridden on his face, "You!? Anakin! You!?"

He kept quiet as Fives walked in, her world stopping.

"Y-Your lieing!" She shouted, "Fives?! Not you! I trust you and you do this!?"

"Arc Trooper Fives." Windu spoke, " what have you seen Padawan Y/n do?"

Fives looked at her, "I. Saw Genral Y/n with a clone trooper,"

"Did. You have that nightmare again?" He asked.

Y/n looked over at him, "when do I not?"

Boba ate a peice of his own ration bar, he never knew what the nightmare was about, but knew it was the same one, on repeat.

He had the same.

"You, uh. Wanna talk about it?"

She looked his way, then looked away quickly, only able to see the faces of her brothers.

"No." She replied coldy tossing the barely eaten ration bar on the table, her appetite gone, "I'm gonna go scope the roof, don't wait up for me."

She walked towards the door, grabbing the sniper on the way out.

"I'll come with you. Incase someone tries to get you from behind."

"I don't need someone to have my back." Y/n argued.

"Well then Im coming because I want to!"

He pushed past Y/n as she scoffed, following him close behind as they walked towards the steps, somewhere along the way Y/n hacked into a vending Machine, Boba going up the stairs himself, stealing whatever she pleased putting it in her sling bag, enough for her only.

"Sharing is what?" Y/n questioned Woflee

"An opportunity for someoen to get there arm chopped off, it's my food." Wolfee told her.

Y/n sighed, how she hated her own little life lessons to her brothers, and stole more food, enough for both Boba and her, and a little extra.

Walking up the rest of the steps she made it to the door she kicked open with the bottom of her foot.

"Could you try and be quiet?" He seethed.

"I mean. I could. But no." Y/n responded walking towards the edge where Boba sat on a near by utiliy unit.

She sat down setting her back infront of her as she laid herself on her side her back to Boba the lights of the bright city below barely reaching the top of the tall hotel they sat on.

"You want one?"

Boba looked over seeing Y/n holding up a soda.

"Where did you get that?"

"Stole it."

Rolling his eyes he walked over to her snatching the bottle and sitting himself by her head.

"Hey hey. Fives calm your tits." Y/n laughed.

Boba stayed silent as he looked at her, she too busy looking out and onward, but feeling the stare she looked besides her.

"Oh." Y/n realized, "My bad Fett."

Boba stayed silent, as Y/n took a drink of her own soda, he had realized she had become more sympathetic with her apology.

"You wanna talk about it now?" Boba questioned.

Y/n sighed, answering in silence for a mintue, "My only family betrayed me. Strung a String of lies to supposedly keep me safe. I think about it all the time. We use to find these abaonded places and sit up on the roofs like this, we'd sing, start a bonfire, get drunk."

"Your as old as me." Fett argued.

Y/n shrugged, "war does that, you only live once Fett."

"Then why are you still worrying about it?" Boba defended.

"Why do you still worry about the things you worry about?" Y/n questioned, "but I was kicked out of my group, my name stripped of me, and instead of having my back, they had me cast out. Happy Now?"

It was silent again, the hearing of honking and swearving down below could be heard.

"I lost my dad to the Jedi."

Y/n stopped mid way lifting her drink to her lips but then contuined to drink then pull away.

"They tend to do that..." Y/n responded, "they expect you to follow every rule every word, there no better than the sith."

"You know alot of jedi and sith."

Y/n looked at him once, "It was when you father died did I stop really believing in the Jedi-"

"You knew my father?! You're a jedi-"

"Shut your trap and listen before you get rowdy you damn idiot!' Y/n argued Boba gritting his teeth, "I met Jango Fett when I went on a small assignment, my first one, with Master Shakk Ti- it was basically playing paper boy. I remember delivering work to your father...alot of people were mean to me, he. He never was, always said thank you, always asked me if I had eaten. He even watched me leave on the ship back to Master Plo Koon. So when I went througy reports and found him dead I was in shock, later to find out a Jedi did it. I started to loose faith. Why kill a man lookin out for him and his child, sure capture him- but taking family...I know how that feels and no one should go through it."

Y/n took a drink finishing her bottle and tossing it over edge, "so. I fought. And I fought and I fought. If i couldnt save Jango, I'd save what was left of him- the clones- my brothers. They share the same face but are diffrent than any could imagine. I spoke, I wrote, I pleaded, I trainned. It never was enough, and it was my 'emotion' that got the better of me. Pssh. Yeah right the Jedi can piss off because if they want to see emotion? I'll give it to them."

Boba listened, he had nevee seen Y/n before hand, maybe he had and just didnt remember, he never knew someone could share his pain. Neverless with the same person.

"Windu will pay." Boba seethed, "and your a jedi! You can help me."

"I will go head to head to him, I don't plant bombs." Y/n defended.

"We can take him! Two on one!" Boba tried to persuade, "you know his fighting style! I know guns! You know sabers! We take his head and anyone else that stands in our way!"

Y/n looked at him dully.

"Come on! How many bounty hunters have you single handedly taken on! And killed! How many sith have you injured! Jedi that chase after us! Without your laser swords! We can kill him! Together!" Boba explained standing up, Y/n move to sit up, "We're the left behind! We are the strongest! Because we were left behind! We round up a few others! Bane! Sing! Bosk! And there's always someone paying for a Jedi's head!"

Y/n stood up grabbing hee sniper rifle as she did and looked at her watch.

"It can be a sniper shot! A saber battle! Whatever you want! As long as he die and Im involed I don't care how!" Bobba argued.

Y/n looked down below aiming her sniper adjusting the scope.

"My father would do the same for you-"

He was cut off by a bullet shot and soon the sounds of crying folks who see a man just drop dead on the street, the target they had been waiting for dead. She pulled away from her weapon slowly, turning her head towards him.

"I'll do it.-" Y/n agreed

"No." Boba spoke, "We'll do it. Together. For everything the jedi took from us!"

Y/n looked at the outreached hand as she took it.

"Together."

"As One Unit."

"As One Unit." Y/n responded, "well one and a half"

"Im not that short." Boba argued.

"Shorter than me." Y/n chuckled.

Then the fight. God I love how you write fights! It’s that right balance of truth that hurts but doesn’t push the relationship beyond repair. Because Wilbur is really stressed out and it’s turning him into a bitch, mostly towards Tommy because it’s to one outlet he has and the one person he can snap at ‘without’ consequences. Whereas snapping at Jack or Ranboo would have bigger consequences. Though he did snap at aimsey too, but they just picked the worst time to knock on that door.

Also, I really like how the boys use different ways to cope. Wilbur tries to hold on to or gain what little control he can get. He tries to be prepared because, ultimately, he’s the one making all the decisions. He’s the one who got them there, so he has to make sure it ends well. Then Tommy is trying to cope by letting of steam. (aka the healthier way) he runs around with Ranboo and Aimsey. Learns the lay-out of the castle (which could actually be useful) and mostly tries to forget how much he misses Tubbo. Becoming friends with Ranboo isn’t such a bad idea since he’s close to Techno and Phil.

Also, I feel like Tommy can chill more because Wilbur is making the decisions for him. He can still make his own decisions, but he trust his brother to take care of it. Maybe he doesn’t fully realise what the effect of a bad bargain would be or how important it is to get a good deal. He just wants a deal. It’s that childhood naiviy Wilbur never really got to have.

So the fight starts because Wilbur wants Tommy to continue studying. This is a combination of he wanted Tommy to have a childhood, but that’s clearly over now. Aside from that being really stressed out while someone else isn’t can be infuriating, so maybe subconsciously he’s ending Tommy’s fun because he’s too stressed to have any or thinks Tommy should be more stressed. Third, Tommy not being competened is part of the reason why Erer betrayed them. So while he wanted Tommy to have a childhood he might blame himself for not being harder on him and making him study more so now he’s making up for that.

Of course the comment that sticks with Tommy is idiotic child. Also, Tommy does have enough tact to not go fighting in front of everyone else. He’s a smart boy. But he’s being told he isn’t doing enough and that always hurts. He’s also smart enough to realise that Wilbur is being mean because he’s stressed out and he should chill (we are back to the coping mechanisms). It’s essentially the fight they had in the space shuttle again. Wilbur is holding the, I saved our lives, card over Tommy’s head while Tommy calls out that that doesn’t give him a reason to be a bitch.

I was thinking that this would be a longer fight, because the only way to make them make up fast is by reminding them how codependent they are. They love and need each other. But they are safe enough that you can’t immediately put them in a life or death situation. And in comes Bee with a nightmare. It’s genius. Because it replaces the frustration with thank God you aren’t dead. And Wilbur bringing up how he saved their lives was probably enough to trigger it. And it makes both of them apologise.

fun fact spruce anon i didnt even have the whole fight and nightmare in the plan for this chapter, I just came up with it as we went

I considered making the fight go on for longer, but then I saw the opportunity for a nightmare and decided that would end the fight (for now). that doesn't mean there aren't going to be more fights in the future though :)

c!wilbur as a character is already a bit of a bitch on his own, so i'm definitely keeping that in mind while i write stars!wilbur. he's already petty and bitchy just naturally, so this situation is just bringing that out in him full force. and you're completely right about the consequences thing. he can't afford to snap at ranboo and jack because he barely knows them and has to establish positive relationships. he can kind of snap at aimsey since he knows them, but he can't be as blunt and rude as he is with tommy. the people closest to him get the most hurt because those are the only people he can get upset at because he knows it won't destroy everything.

he's definitely upset about the fact that tommy can be more carefree and get time to relax, while wilbur has to be the one making the decisions. he's bitter that even in this situation, tommy can still have more of a childhood, can still have fun when wilbur would never have that option. it's mean and petty, but there is a deep part of him that wants tommy to be as upset and anxious as he is, just because it's the only thing that's 'fair' and he's tired of having to be the one that worries about this all the time. but then he also wants tommy to have what he didn't have, so it's a very strange mix of emotions he's dealing with.

tommy meanwhile is a LOT more nervous than he's letting on. he knows that a lot of this stuff is falling onto his shoulders and he has virtually no fucking clue what he's doing, so he's relying on wilbur because in his mind wilbur does know what he's doing, even if wilbur tells him he doesn't. he's hanging out with aimsey and ranboo as a distraction from everything that's happened, because he's genuinely terrified of all the ways things could go wrong with the deal, and he'd rather just choose not to think about it and trust wilbur's judgement instead of having to be the one to make the possibly disastrous choices. he's smart, but he's avoidant. it's easier to ignore your fear instead of trying to deal with it. tommy gets that luxury where he can ignore it, while wilbur can't.

my favorite part of warrior cats is the grotesque story of squirrelflight, ashfur, and the extended cast of cats that sound like they came out of an ajj song

this gal named squirrelflight flirts with a guy named ashfur a few times. typical 80s romance song. its quick, its fleeting. squirrelflight gets together with brambleclaw. its all real lovely. brambleclaw gets promoted to leader after squirrelflights dad goes into retirement and makes his deputy the chief. brambleclaw is now bramblestar

(before the promotion and after the marriage, brambleclaw leads the entire 4 clans to a new territory. not relevant. he also stabs his brother in the neck with a tent stake)

and then squirrelflights sister leafpool, who is a medicine cat and sworn into celibacy, has sex with a guy from windclan named crowfeather. this is something all the cats are sworn not to do. double illegal.

crowfeather is a bit of a whore because he was previously in love with another girl who went on a magical journey with him when he was a child. (brambleclaw was there for that too. brambleclaw is eternal and everywhere) the girl crowfeather was in love with got impaled by a falling stalagmite while protecting a tribe of savage feral cats with names very similar to english translations of a few native american names i know. interesting. racist? there was a mountain lion involved

yeah so they have sex and leafpool gets pregnant. but since she did two crimes in one she gives the kids to squirrelflight and pretends they belong to her and brambelstar. theres an uncomfortable birthing scene because the kids decided to emerge from her cat uterus in the middle of a snowstorm. this is very telling of their characters after birth

theres three kids. jayfeather lionblaze and hollyleaf. jayfeather is very angry. lionblaze is angry but in a brave way. hollyleaf loves rules. they are a legendary trio

theres a thing about superpowers, and a prophecy or something. jay is sickly and blind and can see peoples thoughts. lionblaze never loses any fights, ever, and he maims ashfur a little while theyre trianing. hollyleaf doesnt have any powers, but she is absolutely obsessed with the warrior code and gets caught up with a guy named sol who says the world is gonna end. none of this is relevant except the "bootlicker hollyleaf" thing

ashfur is stewing. ashfur has been stewing for years now. long enough that they literally brought all 4 clans across the continent to a new territory kind of stewing. hes lonely. he misses the girl he was madly in love with, and shes married to the coolest guy in town. hes in agony. (over in windclan, crowfeather has a new girlfriend. manwhoring as long as he lives)

theres a big fire. thunderclans entire territory sets on fire. everyone is escaping, except for squirrelflight and her three kids. jayfeather, lionblaze, and hollyleaf, who is contemplating becoming an antivaxxer or something

imagine this: a clearing on the edge of a pit. the pit is where the cats live. everything is on fire around this clearing. there is one log running across the clearing, and squirreflight and her fake kids are going along it to escape. theyre the last out

ashfur appears he stands at the other end of the log. hes pissed. hes crying. he hates squirrelflight. he hates her so much. his rage is all consuming, like the fire that burns around them. he says he wants her in as much pain as possible, and he knows how: taking the only thing she loves in this world. her 3 kids

we all know something ashfur doesnt. the kids arent hers. squirrelflight, though non an omnipresence, is gifted with this knowledge herself.. she sees ashfurs twisted evil mind and tells him, flat out that they arent hers. she doesnt love them. he can kill them, they mean nothing to her. they are, after all, just her sister leafpool's. why would she care for them?

ashfur is stunned. he gives up. he leaves. squirrelflight and her three kids leave. its a bit awkward. imagine the thanksgiving dinner table after a particularly bad argument. thats all this is really

anyways. hollyleaf is broken from this. shes the daughter of a medicine cat and a manwhore from a clan that only eats rabbits. she cant take it. much like ashfur, she snaps

there are these big clan meetings, once every month. everyone goes, except the old people and the dying people and the kids who just want juiceboxes and lunchables. thunderclan is heading out to the Meeting Island. they find a body in the river. surprise! its ashfur

they go on to the gathering despite finding the body of one of their finest, most mentally haunted warriors polluting the stream with the blood seeping out of his slit throat. the three kids are there. squirrelflight is there. leafpool is there. bramblestar is there

this story has very weird heathers energy to me. its there, but it isnt coherant. like a bad remix of 100 gecs, sort of. this part is no exception

hollyleaf runs up to the big tree the clan leaders stand on and monologue. shes not allowed to do this. perhaps the sense that she lost her identity with her illigitimate birth turned into something real, that the warrior code didnt matter anymore. perhaps she was just tired of being kind; she wanted to go apeshit

she confesses. to two things. number one - the muderder of ashfur. how tragic. number two - leafpool. leafpools affar with crowfeather. squirrelflights lies to her for her entire life. theres chaos. thunderclan is like stan twitter after a minecraft youtuber said something racist 8 years ago. the 3 other clans are trying desperately to get in on this drama. the hot tea of the hour if you will

hollyleaf says her share. she runs away. lionblaze and jayfeather chase after her all the way back to the thunderclan territory. she yells at them. she runs into a tunnel and gets crushed by rocks. thats the end. shes dead.

jk jk that was a lie shes alive and shes living in a huge cave system with a ghost cat. remember the native american coded mountain tribe? yeah, they had ancestors. the ancestors lived at the territory the 4 clans moved to after squirelflight flirted with ashfur and before she got together with bramblestar. they used to drown little kids in the tunnels. jayfeather is the entire reason why the ancestors moved to the mountains and became the racist mountain tribe. i wont explain the timeline of this, and i dont think i could if i tried

up above hollyleafs slowburn romance with a transparent cat, theres a new girl with superpowers. prophecy fulfilled yadda yadda. her sister is annoyed that she isnt #quirky and so she joins a fighting cult run by the cats in hell. i cannot stress this enough its literally every cat from the 50 some books before this who went to hell. they have an army of children. theyre training them. the sister kills one of her classmates and becomes equals with the hell cats. my second favorite plotline in the series

the hell cats come to the land of the living. the sister betrays them. theres a big battle, and its supposed to be the end of the series but you know theyre gonna continue it for at least 20 more books. (they did). hollyleaf appears, and i dont think its ever explained how or why. but shes back, and she joins the battle. everyones too busy with the literal hell cats to care much about some kid with a body count of 1 appearing randomly

hollyleaf fights a bit. she gets mauled to death. thats the end. its just over. she dies and she doesnt come back. rip to a queen

i think my biggest question besides why would someone create this ad continue to do so for fifty plus books, is how the fuck brambleclaw stabbed his brother with a tent stake when he literally doesn’t even have hands. what.

THIS IS GONNA BE HELLA LONG SO HERE YOU GO

so niki first joined l'manberg - contrary to popular belief - AFTER the revolution, along w jack manifold. she joined bc she was good friends with wilbur and tommy. she opened up a bakery after consulting her diary/chat, and it ended up being pretty successful. not too succesful, but successful. during the elections, she decided to support her friend (childhood friend? the timeline is fucked up bc of c!fundy existing lbr) and together she and fundy made COCONUT2020. she didn't think she'd win, only really did it for fun, and supported wilbur even though she didn't join his party then her best friend and friend got exiled, and so she was understandably distraught and angry schlatt's reign was one of her low points. not her lowest, but pretty damn low if i do say so myself. she was tormented during this time by schlatt himself, and he made fun of her for her relationship with wilbur, called her things like a "wrench", he taxed her (to the point where she had to run away!), and he imprisoned her. it doesn't help that her childhood(?) friend betrayed her burnt down the flag that she had made for l'manberg (its so sad actually, listen to it) she had a birthday party that while i didnt watch ive heard that wilbur threatened to blow up l'manberg so yeah then she saw her younger brother-like figure get executed onstage, then almost got executed herself, when wilbur managed to get her away then it is DEVASTATING as she finally finds out abt how things have been going in pogtopia (especially for the viewers who only watched niki's pov). she had thought that they had a plan, that they were working things out, when really they haven't even got a semblance of a plan the pit fight happens, and then after she goes up to listen to one of tommy's discs with tubbo and tommy themselves during the manberg v pogtopia war, she fights for pogtopia and watches schlatt die and the nation become wilbur's again. then, of course, comes the part that all old school c!niki fans will remember... during the celebration they had just after tubbo gained presidency, she accidentally uncovered a small part of the wall and saw tnt. she went still, then covered it up, on the assumption that wilbur wouldn't blow it up BOY was she wrong her home gets destroyed (watch this and skip forwards until niki's pov), and she doesnt find out that wilbur dies until much, much later. to honour him, she starts wearing his coat. everything goes fine for a little while, and she yknow dates puffy (*SOBS* im unbiased im unbiased.... *sob*), and then doesnt find out abt tommy's exile until much later AFTER that. she doesnt really get in on the lore much during the inbetween period of tommy's exile and doomsday except for her city being built more. then, during doomsday, she gets angry at tommy and says that he couldn't just walk in there and assume everyone would be on his side, she also shouts at ranboo abt sides and stuff. later, she apologizes to ranboo and says that if ranboo fights for l'manberg, she will too. ranboo ends up doing nothing except watching everything unfold, and so niki does the same, except for one thing. she burns down the l'mantree, also known as her canonical lowest point. after that, she hears ghostbur speaking and has a panic attack, trying to reassure herself that "he's gone, he's gone, he's gone" and because shes too flooded w memories, she ends up blowing up her bakery. afterwards, however, she goes down into her secret city and isolates herself from everybody except for jack, who she plots to kill tommy with. she takes tommy to a nuclear test site and almost manages to kill him, but JUST misses him, somehow after this attempt, she scurries back to her little hole like a cryptid and (this is, in my opinion, her lowest point) isolates herself even MORE. she has contact with exactly 1 person during this whole period of four-five canonical(??) months, and it results in her mental health getting worse. technoblade visits her at the start of this, offering her a position as an anarchist to which she gives him a "maybe, after

i kill tommy" she gets night terrors, and keeps herself in a literal CELL so that she doesnt go anywhere when she sleepwalks, also punches the walls whenever she wakes up from a nightmare, which is often. eventually tho, she accepts techno's offer and joins the syndicate, naming herself as nemesis as a reference to her past self she manages to heal a substantial amount, finally having: a) a group that lets her speak (which is SO important for her, its actually the key to her entire arc) and b) socialization! however this takes a big turn, when she hears that wilbur's back she tries to play it off, then goes the l'manhole or l'crater, reminisces about wilbur betraying her (may i note the rocketduo where she looks pointedly at manifoldland and says "and GOD you deserved so much better dgsayufasyufgasuy) she grabs wilbur's diamonds, some of the first ever items she got in the SMP, then hides them in the wall, as a sign of her closing off from wilbur

PHHOOOOOOEEY THAT WAS A LONG ONE

okay so imma go with this writing cause its fun. so, you asked a few questions in response to the ask you gave me!! so lets go 1) why does she feel betrayed by wilbur? because she was one of the first people she met (canonically) on the SMP. he promised her that it would be a land of peace, prosperity, but she started loving it BECAUSE of wilbur. case and point: when wilbur asks whether she's loyal to l'manberg, she goes "yes, i'm loyal to you, wil." "no, no, not to me- to l'manberg" she quite literally wore his coat around the SMP as a symbol of her friendship and dedication towards him, because they were honestly the best of friends, and she THOUGHT she knew it. points out) and its the way she's learnt to do things. also remember: c!Niki is an unreliable narrator, that's the whole point of her character. it's a response to trauma (as @tubboblr pointed out) you're also probably wondering why she burnt down the l'mantree. and it's not because she "finally realized that l'manberg was bad" it was actually really simple: she wanted to be heard. she had been beaten down and talked over SO much (aka the BASIS for her arc) that she's so desperate to be heard she'll take desperate measures. another reason is because she finally loses hope in l'manberg. she loved it, loves it, but she just lost hope in it. she never hated it. she LOVED it, with all her heart. she just didnt believe it had any hope to be the place she had thought it was. if you have any other questions, let me know!!

something the latest chapter of kaguya-sama made me realize is just how much better all of the characters are doing in their lives now because of their friendships with each other, and i just think thats so sweet.

kaguya herself used to be absolutely miserable and never smile, but then chika made her be her friend and miyuki made her join the student council and over time she became so much more open and happy, you really see just how important all her friends are to her when she’s afraid that she might lose all the pictures of them she’s taken, they absolutely melted this former ice queen’s heart. through the series she gets more and more warm and acts more like a typical happy girl. the ending song for the second season also makes it really obvious that she sees her friends as her happy place, an escape from her terrible home life, she really does love them so much. in the latest chapter she makes it so clear that her friendship with chika is just as important to her as her relationship with miyuki, and that the only reason she didn’t tell her was that she was afraid chika would be mad that she has a new special person in her life, but because chika loves her friend so much she’s nothing but happy to see her finally have more special people in her life too.

and miyuki of course has gotten a lot better when it comes to accepting his flaws and not seeing himself as a failure, he only ever initially drops this facade around chika who becomes sort of like, a mom friend to him, and since a lot of his issues stem from his mom abandoning him its really important for him to see that not everyone will. and later on its much more directly addressed between him and kaguya he becomes much more able to be happy with who he is and not push himself so much or be afraid that people will leave him for not being perfect. not to mention his friendship with ishigami who he actually confides a lot of his issues in, despite the fact that he gets his relationship advice from manga, but the scene of them laying down under the tree and just talking, while very funny, is still a really sweet moment. his relationship with kei is also very big, because thats his sister, but he also sort of fills the role their mother usually would have for her. and though she’s annoyed by it, its really important for her because its implied that when she was with her mom she wasnt exactly treated well, she ran away to be with her father and brother for a reason, and kaguya was the one that actually gave her the strength to do so so it all comes back full circle. 

but chika has her own issues too, she seems like a very simple character, a typical genki girl. but she was a musical prodigy as a child, winning award after award. and yet she was so unhappy with that very ridged life, she had no freedom and all she did was practice. you can see it in her eyes in the flashbacks, despite the praise and trophies her eyes were were so dead and she was so different from the happy carefree chika we know. but then kaguya sort of became the straw that broke the camel’s back that forced her to quit, and it wasnt really out of kindness at first, but their friendship ultimately is what made her become the chika we know, the one who loves to laugh and play, its like she’s making up for lost time and finally getting to be a kid with all her friends. she is very much the gifted child who lost her childhood because of it, but she’s so much happier now. not to mention her friendship with the table-top board game club! its not given as much focus but you can really see her thrive in something she’s truly passionate in now, she loves making games and playing them with her friends!

ishigami’s whole thing can be pretty heavy, its played off as a joke at first but he legitimately is explicitly suicidal, but hes able to get better with the power of friendship. miyuki was very literally portrayed as a light coming into his life when he first enters his room to save him from his isolation. even before that though, miko also helped him, even if he didnt realize it, she was the one that advocated for him not to be held back a year which prompted the student council to look into his case and help him too. he has to get over a lot of his anxieties, at first he’s even afraid of kaguya, but he warms up to her over time too and they develop a pretty sweet relationship with her as his sort of tutor. and very critically, he joins the cheer squad. he actually put himself out there and made “normie” friends and it turns out it wasnt so scary after all. and his crush on tsubame is so important, because she rejects him, but they stay friends. he never once feels like she owes him anything or “friendzoned” him, even if it hurt to be rejected he wanted to be friends. she was really afraid of losing her friend that she loves so much, those feelings of platonic love arent in any way seen as lesser. and she helps him in the end by making sure the school knows that hes actually a nice guy and that means the world to him. theyre still friends and that relationship is important to both of them.

similarly though, ishigami also helped miko before they were even friends without her realizing it. he saw how much she was struggling with the constant bullying and decided to leave her a note to tell her that it gets better, and it was an incredibly important thing that stuck with her for a long time. their entire relationship is defined as “two people who secretly help each other” because theyre both hold such high personal morals that they dont expect good deeds to have to be pointed out or repaid. and then when she ran in the election, miyuki helped her get over her stage fright so people wouldn’t make fun of her anymore, and because he’s such a nice guy he even offered her a seat in the student council where she’d make a bunch of new friends, and despite going through sort of a rough patch she’s still ultimately far more confident than she’s ever been and she’s absolutely ready to become the president next year now, finally achieving her goal. and her relationship with miyuki becomes very sweet as they develop their relationship in the “senpai-kun and kohai-chan” chapters where they just bond as friends, often through her weird emo poetry but he supports her despite being terrified of it. 

hayasaka is one of the most loaded characters in the series despite not being in the student council. the arc that focuses around her is even titled “ai hayasaka’s friends” because they’re what help her out of her situation. since she was a child she was used as a pawn by the shinomiya family, not unlike kaguya herself, and she considers kaguya to be like her precious little sister. but she’s also been manipulated into betraying kaguya by becoming a spy for her abusive family. and the amount of guilt she feels over it is so painful to watch, but she’s too afraid to do anything about it. when kaguya finally finds out, she’s not instantly forgiven, but for the first time in kaguya’s life she wants to forgive someone who betrayed her, and they talk it out, and they can finally become proper friends just like they always both dreamed of. her friendship with miyuki is interesting too, because they have a clash of ideals about not letting your “true self” be seen by people, because they wont love you anymore, and despite miyuki arguing against it, it very much is an idelogy he shared at the time. but when she finally does show her true self she’s loved, and in the valentines chapter she confesses to him, not out of love, but out of friendship. she asks him to be her friend, and her circle of friends just grows from there with all her facaudes dropped.

all of their arcs just play into the greater overall theme of the series, which just comes down to honesty and vulnerability with the people youre close to, the series may be a romance but it places such important emphasis on all its characters relationships and how they can make each other better, its so nice. theyre just friends and they care each other.

Tommy’s (and Tubbo’s) Character /rp /dSMP

This is a bit of a rant so like be warned. I have nothing against any CCs mentioned in this, this is all roleplay, lighthearted, and just a bit of fun analysis. Mostly this is a ramble about how I see certain people analysing Tommy’s character on tumblr and twt, and why I think they’re wrong. This isn’t directed at anyone specific, just a trend I’ve been seeing that kinda irks me. I don’t dislike the fandom, just a few ‘takes’ have been really weird for me.

TW for everything below: analysing the effects of trauma, abuse, manipulation, gaslighting, and lack of therapy.

I’m not really liking how victim-blamey everyone is getting currently in the dSMP, both in fandom and canon. In canon with certain characters but especially in fan analysis posts and especially about Tommy and Tubbo. People legitimately celebrating that Tommy might start ‘apologising’ for his actions more and 'growing as a person' somehow don’t realise that hes been made this way through a tonne of negative reinforcement. abuse, and gaslighting. And people blaming Tubbo for actions he had no choice in, rather than the actions he did choose.

Currently, as I see it, Tommy is so scared that anyone would find a reason to be pissed off at him that his fighting spirit has been completely crushed. He was exiled and abused when he should have been helped and given an understanding figure to guide him and teach him how to deal with things non-violently. In everyone’s eyes, the problem was that Tommy was creating violence with no real reason, acting recklessly and commiting crimes. Tubbo, having made him a part of his cabinet, knew that this would only harm the country. So instead of talking to him reasonably, he got angry, put him on trial, and punished him with the logbook (humiliating him by making him report back to Fundy, which he obviously hated). Tommy’s actions were, of course, bad, but did he deserve everyone ganging up on him? No. Especially when Tubbo was supposed to be in his corner, helping him out like he always said he would (”It’s me and you vs Dream” etc). This is the first betrayal of trust from Tommy’s POV. He doesn’t understand what he did wrong to its full extent, and no one can explain it to him. 

However, Tubbo was under a lot of pressure from Dream and George, and he’s a literal child President, so his ‘safety over friendship’ actions are understandable. I don’t believe Tubbo is solely to blame for anything he’s done in season 2, but it can’t all be excused. If you are to blame Tommy for his recklessness, you have to blame Tubbo, at least partially, for his disregard for Tommy’s feelings and mental state. There were other ways to go about the entire thing, including the trial, which was just horrible to watch, and agreeing to give Dream the disc, something Tommy gave him in pure confidence that it would be safe with Tubbo. Yikes moment.

At that time, Tubbo knew a lot of things about Tommy. In fact, he probably knew the most about Tommy out of anyone on the server. He knew the discs were incredibly important and a comfort item for Tommy. He knew Tommy had trauma from being exiled in the past. He knew Tommy was abused, or at least manipulated by Wilbur, in addition to growing up in war. Wilbur once told Tommy to stop being reckless, and Tommy listened, changing his attitude because he looked up to Wilbur so much. Then Wilbur said ‘let’s be the bad guys’ and stopped trying to mentor Tommy. There’s a conflict here, because Tommy was told by Wilbur that he wasn’t good enough to be President (links to the idea of ‘not being strong enough’) but he knows that Wilbur was a bad person. But Tommy is never given the chance to reconsile his feelings surrounding Wilbur, both because of Ghostbur and because of the conflict he starts with George. So he is harbouring a mixture of emotions about his mentor and brother, not understanding how to untangle the ‘real Tommy’ from the manipulated boy he became. 

What was going through his head when he stole from George and griefed him? Perhaps the thought that he needed to show he was still the same old Tommy. Maybe the need to ‘prove himself’ as a strong person? It could have just been an outlet for his trauma. He’s grown up in a world where everyone is either a friend or an enemy. George isn’t a friend. How was he supposed to know that hurting him was bad?

Tubbo was pressured into the actions he took against Tommy, but he was pressured far too easily. There is no moment where Tubbo turns to Tommy and makes sure he’s okay, he views him as ‘selfish’ and overdramatic, and sees his actions that way. This makes sense from Tubbo’s POV, he’s struggling to be President in ways that Wilbur *knew* he would, but in Tommy’s eyes this is the worst betrayal he’s ever known. The moment Tubbo (rightfully, but poorly executed) defies Tommy’s plan to hire Technoblade (ahem, seeing Techno as a weapon again) and exiles Tommy is the moment their friendship shatters. They’re two people who don’t understand each other anymore. Two people who are technically in the right, but only hurt each other. 

What Tommy needed was a therapist, instead he had Dream, who put out the fire of rebellion that made him so strong, and Techno, who was trying to help but doing it in the wrong way. 

People see tommy's change post-exile as a good thing because he's not as rebellious anymore and he’s thinking things through a lot before he does them, but they will soon realise that his rebellion was one of his best traits and the fact that no one saw it as anything but a problem really shows. He now second-guesses himself so much and is so scared of being wrong that everything seems too difficult and too dangerous. Every trait can have a positive and negative side. Tommy's defiant nature would have made him the perfect negotiator with a little practise. In fact, he had plenty of good ideas before he was exiled (using spirit against Dream, though it didnt work in the end, for example). The negative side of this was recklessness and the desire to cause problems on purpose, but what he needed was a friend (looking at you Tubbo) who understood that hes been through several wars, was manipulated by Wilbur, and hasnt known a time of peace where everyone who wasnt on his side was out to kill him. Now that ‘fight’ is gone he's just become easier to manipulate.

He may be getting better (see: telling Dream to go fuck himself) but there hasn't been any long-term growth because he was never told what kind of rebellion was good and what was bad. He was just told it was all bad. By Dream (and by Tubbo). Who he doesn't trust. So he's just going to revert back to his old ways because no one told him what was bad in a way that didn't make him feel like everyone was against him. Dream is the enemy (though Tommy’s feelings towards him are complicated, they make his brain go all ‘flippy floppy’) and Dream told him that rebellion was bad, so rebellion must be good always, right? 

And then there's Techno. Techno did nothing wrong except for when he did. Techno is 100% right except for when he isn’t. He doesn't understand Tommy because Tommy was never fully open about what Dream had done and how it affected him. That's not Tommys fault though, because who the fuck openly talks about their trauma? So neither of them are to blame for pretty much anything up until the confrontation at the community house. 

However, Techno's methods and ideology were not what Tommy needed. He was thrown from one extreme to another over and over again, from complete subservience to total rebellion. Neither of these inforce good attitudes in Tommy. One, as stated before, makes it so that he will regain his negative traits again. The other reinforces those violent traits as good, just like Wilbur did. The only difference is that Techno had good intentions, he wasnt trying to use Tommy, which is why he feels so used when Tommy 'betrays' him (Techno doesnt realise that he himself betrayed Tommy by teaming with Dream, he sees it more as a transaction than a personal thing). Techno feels so hurt by Tommy ‘viewing him as a weapon’ that he goes on with his no-mercy attack, completely dropping Tommy at his lowest point. 

Tommy says he doesn't want to be like everyone he's hated. In fact, he say's he is 'worse' than all the villains. This is very obviously untrue, though he was clearly going down a dangerous path with Techno's influence (see: bullying Fundy, spawning wither, kidnapping Connor, and saying that the discs are more important than Tubbo, more on that later). He's not a villain but who exactly has said he's not a villain. Dream? Techno? Neither of them can be trusted in his eyes. They say he's a good guy, Wilbur wanted to be the bad guy, who's right? He doesn't know. He has a crisis of morality. 

And? Some people want to point at that and say 'aha! Character development! He's finally realising his actions have a negative affect on others!' OH GOD NO??? He's a *child* who thinks that he is worse than his abuser. Does that sound like positive character growth to you? 

Lastly, the discs. We know theyre a comfort item blahblahblah. He hates himself for valuing them more than he values Tubbo. He's literally innocent in this. He’s been horribly manipulated by Dream to believe that the discs are worth anything. Theyre really not worth anything if they are being used as tools rather than, yknow, discs. My poor boy. He doesnt trust people, so what can he trust? The discs. But then he says it out loud and realises he misses Tubbo and he wants to be with his best friend again and and and WAHHHH. This also isnt really character growth its just fucking sad leave me alone. 

Anyways what the fuck guys. @ Niki and Jack what the fuck. Yeah we get it it’s miscommunication but wtf. Kinda worried that the actual lore will make Niki and Jack’s hatred of Tommy justified in some way and take on a big victim-blamey vibe, but I’m hoping that everyone is smart enough to not do that. I cannot praise Tommy enough for how he’s portrayed his character. I’m currently hoping that he himself understands the true complexity of it all. I’m sure he does.

Mostly though im actually pissed off at all the people praising tommy's character for 'maturing' when hes literally just got trauma. Nice one, tumblr and twt users. Thanks. Great job. He hasnt 'learnt his lesson', he’s traumatised. What the fuck.

Guilt

It’s one thing to keep a secrets, but it’s another thing when you’re hiding it from the people you love. For Kate, she was becoming consumed in her own guilt as each day passed. Everyday her breaths would shorten, her heartbeat quicken, and her conscience relentlessy invading her inner thoughts. Kate tried to find all the possibilities to avoid the truth, and make everyone happy...but it didnt matter. One way or another, someone was going to get hurt.

Kate stood in front of Harrison and Harry at her doorstep. While she was relieved and excited to see them, a slight tinge of fear was present. “How are you going to find out the truth?” She asks calmly as Harrison and Harry made their way into the apartment. Kate picked up her phone, checking for an message. None showed up.

“Well, we might have found something. A clue maybe, but we’re not sure.” Harry explained as he picked up his macbook, turning it on.

“Is Y/N here?” Harrison asked, and as if on cue she appeared, heavy bags under her eyes.

The moment Y/N laid eyes on the two, she couldn’t believe it. Her hands quickly rubbing the sleep from her eyes, almost convinced it was a dream. “What? Harry? Harrison? What are you guys doing here?” Y/N excitedly asks. She made her way towards the boys giving them a long awaited hug. “I missed you guys.” She whispers.

“We want to help you.” Harrison says as he pulled away. “The unknown number? We might have an idea.”

Y/N looked at them suspiciously, checking her phone for cryptic messages. “Does anyone know you’re here?”

They both shook their head. “We didn’t tell anyone back home. As far as anyone knows, Harrison and I are going on a 3 day hike with little reception.” Harry reassured her with his boyish smile. Y/N look at him with admiration. He may not look like his brother, but his tone had Tom written all over it.

“Great. Just make sure your location is off on your phones..they could be watching us.” Kate warned as she checked her phone again.

Harrison looked at Kate with sympathy. In the years he’s known her because of Y/N and Tom’s relationship, she always seemed to be the sweetest most loyal friend out there. He was happy that Y/N had someone like Kate in her life. Not to mention it was also a plus that she was fairly pretty, even with the worry written all over face, she was still beautiful to Harrison.

“Hey.” Harrison spoke out for Kate’s attention. “We’re gonna figure this out. I promise.” While Kate nodded, she silently knew that this was not going to end well.”

“Wait...so Tom? Is he—?” Y/N asks the boys with anticipation.

Harrison knowing, exactly what Y/N was asking before she could even finished answered swiftly. “No! Of course not!” He laughs as if it was the silliest thing to answer. “Y/N, Tom loves you. He still does.”

“But the pictures..”

“Was a PR stunt set by Natalie’s publicists.” Harrison finished. “He’s doing a project that Natalie somehow got involved in, and they wanted a PR relationship to sell it. He didn’t want to at first, but then they showed him pictures of you and some div.”

“Hey he’s not some div! Matt’s a good guy.” Y/N defends. “Sweet actually, but I turned him down at the end of it. We’re just friends.”

Then it clicked. “Wait. You said that Tom saw the pictures?” Y/N asked trying to piece it together. “How did he get pictures?”

Harry and Harrison took a moment to think it through. “Well...Natalie’s publicist showed it to Tom.” Harry answered.

“But we don’t know where she got the pictures from.” Harrison added. “My money was on Natalie...still is.”

“Cmon mate. There’s no way she could have gotten pictures in New York and suddenly fly back to London.”

Kate slowly made her way to her own room, no longer wanting to be part of the conversation. They were getting too suspicious, and the more they questioned, the more nervous she got.

“Well maybe the unknown number sent it.” Harry said as he continued to be deep in his thoughts. “Or they found out on that fan account you found Harrison.”

“Wait? Fan account? They know?!” Y/N freaked out. Three years into making sure she was kept in the shadows, and it went all down the drain. If it there were fan accounts then it would only make it harder to finding out who really did sabotage her relationship. Let alone everyone’s lives.

“We don’t know yet, but Harrison found a fan account that was posting about Tom and you. Not together at least, but seperately. The weird part is...barely few people follow it, so we’re not sure what it means.” Harry explained, as he tried to pull up the account. “Oh no.”

“What? What do you mean ‘Oh no’?” Harrison panicked.

“I cant find the account.” Harrison said as he tried to pull it up, but the page disappeared.

In the nick of time, a message was sent to all three of them.

Unknown

Looks like you’re back to square 1 ❤️

“Shit! How did they know?” Harrison questioned in anger. “We were this close!”

“It’s okay Harrison. I appreciate that you guys tried, but it’s a lost cause.” Y/N consoled him, rubbing his shoulder.

“It won’t be. We’ll find another way.” Harry encouraged as he hugged them both. “By the way, where’s Kate gone?”

All three looked up to notice she was missing. Y/N waved it off, assuming it was just one of those days. “She probably went to bed early. Kate gets tired easily, nowadays. It might be because of her new job on top of watching out for me. Its a lot to take on for a person.”

The reasoning seemed valid enough Harrison and Harry. Plus it was Kate they were talking about, she always had Y/N’s back from day one, she wouldnt blackmail any of them or ruin Y/N and Tom’s relationship..right?

Late in the night, Harrison had trouble sleeping because of the jetlag. Since it only was a medicore 2 bedroom apartment, Harrison and Harry slept in the living room on the sofa bed. Luckily it was big enough for the both them and they didnt have to resort to cuddling. Harrison lied on his back as he looked out to the NYC view, thinking about everything and nothing at all. He smiled, thinking about it all. For a very serious couple, a lot of shit has gone down and yet here he was with trying to save it. He cared about the two so deeply, they were his family and family never turns their back on the other.

Then he heard something, whispers coming from the hall. Harrison didn’t dare to make a move but he trained his ears to listen carefully at the voice.

“Im telling you they are getting suspicious.” The voice whispered into the phone. It sounded like Kate’s and Harrison continued to listen in.

“No.No. I sent the damn pictures to you for a reason. No one told me that they would come here. I wasn’t prepared for that.” Kate continues as she paces in the corner.

Pictures? Harrison was awake more than ever, as he quickly shook Harry, and told him to stay quiet. They continued to listen.

“Look I did everything I was told to do. She got what she wanted, now —” Kate stopped in her tracks as she saw Harry and Harrison in front of her. Immediately she dropped the call, her lips moving, unable to find the words.

“How could you?” Harry said his brown eyes glaring at at the girl who just betrayed her best friend. “She was your best friend! How could you?!” He spoke louder.

Kate tried her best to quiet them down, but there was the point. She knew this day would come. “You don’t understand.” Kate whispers, looking at the ground. “I was only doing this to protect Y/N.”

“Protect Y/N? Blackmailing her? Sending pictures of her and a guy to Tom, so he would turn against her? That’s protecting her?” Harrison questioned, hurt by her actions. If he was hurt, then surely It would hurt Y/N far worse.

Y/N comes out of her room as she sees the three gather together, glaring at each other. “Hey..w-what’s going in?” She asks nervously.

“Why don’t you tell her Kate?” Harry spits out as he gestures to Y/N. Kate looks into her best friend’s eyes tears welling up. Y/N had fear struck into her face, afraid of what she had to say.

“I’m so sorry.” She cries. “I didn’t have a choice. She would have ruined our friendship if I did.”

“Kate. What.Did.You.Do?” Y/N asks, emphasizing each word to the question.

Kate shook her head as she let out a deep sigh. “Im the reason your pictured with Matt got out Tom.”

Y/N shook her head, tears streaming. She didn’t want to believe it. “Please tell me you’re lying.”

“Im sorry Y/N. I swear I didnt mean for this to get out of hand. I was threatened that if I didn share them, then they would say something that could ruin our friendship..and...I didnt want that to happen.” Kate frantically explains, sobbing at her no good explanation.

Y/N shook her head, her face switching from sadness to anger. “Looks like you didn’t need them to ruin it at all for you. Now you’re gonna tell me what you know and then Im packing my stuff and Im moving out.”

Kate sobbed as she try to plead to her ex-bestfriend to stay. “Look I’ll tell you everything okay, but it’s not much.” She takes a deep breath before she continues. “I was the one that started the rumors and created the fan account Harry and Harrison saw.”

“Why?” Y/N asks, her disappointed face unchanging.

“I was jealous of you at the time. Y/N you had everything I could have ever wanted in my life. A job, a boyfriend that doesn’t leave you, a family that loves you, and the fame which you didn’t even want to accept with open arms. You were always a step ahead of me at something and I was tired of it. So when you told me you felt uneasy about Natalie when she first moved in, I sold that info online and twisted the story so that it looked like Tom liked Natalie and they were a potential couple.”

“Oh my god.” Harrison said as he let his head down. “You made Natalie think that Tom was in love with her secretly thats why she had become so persistant.”

Kate slowly nodded as she took another breath. “As for the fan accounts I can’t tell you much because I was just asked to create them by the Unknown number.”

“Wait so you’re not the unknown number?” Harry asked confused.

Kate shook her head. “I don’t who it is. Im just a vicitim as much as you guys are.”

“No cut that bullshit. It’s because of you that all of our lives are a mess. It’s because of you that I had to lose the most important thing in my life. So don’t say you’re a fucking victim when all you really did was try to save your own ass.” Y/N yelled.

“You didn’t have to if you were so confident in your relationship with Tom.” She spat back.

“I love Tom with all my heart, but I was referring my best friend. I never want to see you again.” Y/N states, emotionless. No one had ever seen Y/N like this. In fact no one had ever seen her mad as she was on this very day. The day she lost her best friend.

Y/N went to her room to quickly gather her belongings, stuffing them back in the bag. Her phone was ringing and she didnt hesitate to pick it up.

“Tom...” she answers, holding back her sobs.

meanwhile itz near impossible for tigerclaw or any thunderclan cat aside from yellowfang to get to moonstone bcuz simply put. Mudclaw Is Fucking Pissed- hearing the rumorz whn he KNOZ how much beetlebite lovz his clan & how much hez done for the ungrateful rabbit brainz........ and, well, it feelz better to be angry thn it doez to be horribly worried.....

fireheart of couse, is kinda having a bit of a breakdown, his older brother figure dissapeared without a word, on top of tht his nephew haz been taken by twolegz to god knoz where, his mentor & mother figure is DEAD, and the guy hez been warning her about for AGEZ is the LEADER......... so. it doesnt feel Great...

eventually it getz to the point where, tho he knoz he haz som support in the clan, he feelz in danger- and more importantly to him he feelz ravensong is...... so. thy leave, thy dont rly kno where else to go besidez the house of princess & violet- who cant let thm into the house but CAN lead thm to violetz brother who thy can stay with

ABOUT YEONHWA

•This is a very long post that can be considered a rant ,but I use valid points that sound valid to me .And yes, I hate her for reasons I’ll discuss below.

We all love a independent , strong female lead don’t we?  Especially, a woman who is strong, intelligent female charector in Historical Saeguks, who doesn’t rely on men for support and ruthlessly cry over them.

I have to admit, when I first came across Yeonhwa I was,thrilled. She was completely enchanting on screen, with her looks , posture and aura. Her hatred for Hae Soo didnt put me off so much. But slowly and surely, she started ticking me off as the drama progressed. While we saw many charecters like Soo and So evolve, but we saw her evolve backwards, as in she became far less likable as the episodes progress.

At first when we are introduced to her in her robes with a string of sevants at her beck, we are not denied of her sneaky , smug personality. In fact, the first thing Soo notices was how she likes to put people down in a roundabout way, and her crooked smile and expresion. Which is a very accurate depiction of her personality.

At the very first episode, we see her immaculate manipulation skills as she basicallly manipulates Soo into mixing the glue on her own accord.

I was still rooting for her though, and I was willing to give her the benefit of doubt, as she seemed to genuinely care about her family and So. I very much believed her stance of pushing her brother to get into a stronger political marraige to protect her family and that she had genuine affection for her brothers and their lives, when they tried to get Soo out of a political marraige.

It’s obvious from the first episodes that she and Soo don’t get along. Especially in episode four she clearly gets a rise out of whipping Soo. The actress mentioned there was a reason why she hated her long that wasn’t shown but I think her deep resentment comes from Hae Soo refusing to show respect and easily obey her in the first episodes.That’s why she is so pissed at her.

For Yeonhwa, status and reputation are the most important.Especially after her exile , she works very hard at presenting this sweet, poslished image of herself to the world.She is happy when Soo is about to be married off,but she is pissed when she learns it’s her father. Why? Because that would mean Soo would surpass her in social status and to Yeonhwa nothing more is nightmarish than treating Soo as her equal.

All that pretence came crashing down in episode seven, where her true manipulative nature and motive is revealed. I have to give it to her because boy did she really own this episode. We first see her encouraging her brother to be King while playing the sweet, caring sister. Smiling sweetly and stating to him that she will not mind if she is even sold off, stating she will only marry someone who will help him become King.

Earlier , we see her play the perfect daughter to the King, smiling sweetly, saying pretty much what she said to Wook, that she does not mind being married off, but in a different fashion that shows she trusts and loves her father. We see her try hard to fix her face from showing her true ambition, and saying the right things that only bring him joy.

This sets her on her mission for pretty much the entire drama. Whether it’s marrying one of the princes or being a sister, she only wants to align herself and remain family with whoever eventually sists on the throne.  She wants to be Royalty, for life.

There is no need for love for her, in her mind there is only ambition and power.

In episode seven, we see her play the sweet sister all over again,but this time to gain the sympathy of her brothers, as she arranges a brithday party for Eun, where she announces the King’s decision to marry her off to incite sympathy and action from them.

This is where her hypocrisy is defined at it’s finest. Because she judged for Soo for getting help from the princes so hard and now she is pretty much expecting the same. And it’s all fine on her part because they are Royalty.

She does get the attention she wanted as Yo offers his hand in marraige,but she sets her eyes on So, in whom she sees great potential but admits needs more power and polishing. As she admittedly stated that she wanted to tame him in an earlier episode.

I think she sees in So a potential to be King,but she also sees in him a potential to be controlled, and that is why she chases him. I think she is very aware of his capacity and true, kind nature and that is why she concludes this.

I guess she wants all the recognition for turning a wild prince into a powerful , capable King.

But the thing is, she is a very skilled liar and her loyalties lie all over the place. She pushes her brother to be king, but she also keeps Yo on his toes without rejecting him completely while she chases So, offering him the power that she is pushing her brother to chase. She very much enjoys people fighting over her as it makes her feel powerful, as clearly shown in her expressions in episode five.

She accuses Soo of playing with people’s emotions and betraying her brother, but she does the exact same thing. Intentionally. As early as episode seven.

I think she hates Soo because she easily won the affection and loyalties of the princes without making an effort ,is easily favoured by them, and is protected by all of them. And she does so without having the ettiquette, understanding of the palace nor does she have the position, but she is easily given all the privilleges, even being allowed to be a part of a royal birthday celebration.She’s a contradiction to every thing she ever learnt and she captures the hearts of two of the men she cares for.

So when Soo manages to get the interest of So, she immediately loses the hold she has over him and silently watches in scathing jealousy as both So and the Princes become completely enthralled by Soo’s performance. She doesn’t understand her and she only sees her as the threat.

We see her continue to put Soo in her place and her hatred and her vengence to have her removed festers in episode nine, when her brother is so willing to give up everything and move to their hometown to settle down with Soo.

Yeonhwa has this clear pretense she uses, playing the victim and having justifiable resons. She cities the reason of protecting their clan and constantly brings up what Queen Yoo did to them. But she contradicts her own grudge, by teaming up with the same person who is responsible for their exile to get what she wants.

I think this makes it clear what her loyalties and priorities lay, she will team with her mother’s enemy and even her own, if that enemy can provide her with the assistance that her family refuses to provide.

So she teams up with Yoo to poison the Crown Prince , while secretly arranging to eliminate Soo at once. I think this is her another tactic,to place a card on the table while hiding one under her sleeve.

When her plan goes awry, she is shocked that the man she has her eyes on will drink the poison for the woman she hates. So she pretends to drink the poison, pretty much imitates So and falls and gets the Queen to expose it, as she weakly states to get help for So. Brilliant execution,on her part.

Most say this expresses her love for him, while I say this exposes her brilliant, conniving mind, and the ability to play the perfect, self-sacrificing women in society’s eyes.She does it mainly because it will be a waste of all her efforts,whether its the scheming or pushing both her brother and So to be King at once.

But Soo escapes execution, but this does get her brother to finally act on her wishes and break up with Soo, and she is delighted. 

She also uses and throws away people, and she tactfully does this with Queen Yoo. And she also places the blame on Queen Yoo for Court lady Oh’s death, which logically the blood really is on her hands, as it was the result of her efforts to have Soo framed. Again, playing with guilt and emotions. Showing no remorse or responsibility.

Her brother, pretty much grows cold and distant,as he now hates her for what she did to his relationship and is willing to offer her up as collateral in order for his bid for the throne. I don’t support him, but he is pretty much stating what she promised him episode seven. She still rejects Yo, as she doesn’t want to be just one of his wives, and approaches So, offering him marraige.

And she finally states and reveals her true colors to him. Finally stating that she was lacking something, despite all the love and privilleges, and finally realised that power was what she needed, when in exile.

She still plays her card as a innocent women perfectly, stating she has loved him for long and is destined to be with him and hence, marraige.

We all know she is doing this to escape being collateral, and will immediately push him to be king if he agreed.

But he doesn’t so she sticks to her brother, encourages him to fake a decree and use the oppertunity to become King.

Feels no sadness when her father dies, silently vows she will reach the very ambition that he didn’t want her to have.

But still she isn’t compeletly loyal to her brother, as she literally offers So her power and the oppertunity to be King while blocking the roads for her brother.I was pretty sure she would’ve been moved if So said he wanted to be King to claim her heart instead of Soo’s. But he doesn’t, so she blocks his path.

In episode fifteen, we see the full extent of her personality, namely her very flaws. We see how hypocrytical, shallow, vain and foolish she really is , while reminding us that she is still very much the person who has mastered the art of the double game. 

We see her get shocked at Wook’s confession, while he’s literally out here carrying the same act that she planned years ago : Poisoning Mu.

We still see her foolishly still have hopes of being Yo’s queen, as she silently hints at the ring he gave her years ago. This was her most foolish moment, as it showed how little she understood or had humanity. I don’t know what caused her to conclude that Yo would still harbor affection for her and take her as his Queen , after she rejected him, humiliated him and betrayed him. In her mind, she foolishly thinks people will accept, love and praise her if she offers them power, but what she doesn’t realise is people act around her that way because they have to, there’s nothing true or genuine about thier motives, and they usually want something from her.Like she wants something from them.

Yo puts her in her place and informs her that she will be sent to Khitan, and we finally get to see her break. She’s very alone in this and this is very much the result of her reckless, misplaced loyalties and scheming.

She goes to Soo to manipulate her into taking her place and to make her give up on So, but Soo refuses and she states the most punchable line of hers yet.

“Now I know why I always hated you. For you, feelings and marriage are just silly games. They aren’t life and death like they are for me.” 

It’s very much a punchable line because it shows how shallow and irresponsible she really is. She ended up where she is because of her own devious, reckless actions but she blames this woman who’s been minding her own buisness and places the blame on her while seeing herself as the victim. 

She is a Princess with a family and it’s not only her who marries to elevate. It’s every woman’s duty to marry well and protect their family in Goryeo.Even Hae Soo ends up marrying for survival,just like she escaped it .She has more pressure becuase well, she is a Princess and it’s her duty. Every Royal family member married someone they did not like because,well responsibility.But she can’t accept it because it’s literally her one disadvantage and she uses it to play victim. Again.Soo’s perception only differs because its quite modern.

She promises she will make Soo regret it, and she plays the double game perfectly. She offers the whereabouts of a wanted Prince to the King in exchange for stopping her marraige, and since the whereabouts happened to b Soo’s quarters, she reveals it So as well, hoping to break off their relationship as she smiles smugly.

She knows very well, that the infomation is going get the prince killed. And the Prince is a brother she grew up with, who is being framed but she is happy that the information is breaking off a relationship she hated.

So leaves the palace for a while and she supports her brother, but she and her mother are quick to switch her loyalty to So when he satges a coup and becomes King.

She then pressures her brother who she used to push to be King, to get his help to now push her to be Queen. And,she succeeds.And still foolishly assumes she has won, as she sits triumphantly on the throne.It’s the night of the consummation,and she is still so naive and foolish,thinking this marriage and power is going to help her win the heart of the man she wanted. While him,the King was being forced into it and to break the heart of the woman he loves. She looks at him expectantly and he just walks away. So she continues her political diplomacy and tells him to get rid of Hae Soo,as she is a “risk”and he basically puts her in her place,telling her to be satisfied with being Queen.

This where we finally get to see her cry,and we don’t feel for her at all. She is sad but not deveasted and it shows how naive she really is . Because all I see is a girl crying,not a broken hearted woman. I guess that’s all she was deep down, a little girl with thirst for power, whose ambitions were nurtured due to her spoiled upbringing, who by her admission, had a brother that never said no to her since she was young.

She doesn’t give up easily ,and she sets off to get the King’s trust and break his relationship with Soo. But the King ignores her and she waits until their relationship is Rocky to seduce him,and she tries to trick him by pretending to be Soo.

This is where in my opinion, I truly understood how her mind works.She is a woman of her times ,yes but she is not exactly a original thinker or a broad minded person. She listens,watches and learns from the scheming woman around her and lusts after power and things that are far from her reach. She is smart but not wise, as trying to trick the King into sleeping with her only exposes her devious ways,makes her look untrustworthy. The thing is for all the times people praise her for her intelligence, they forget that she has born and raised to be that way. Her schemes and plans are meticulous because besides seeing them, she also has nothing but time to carefully think and plan her plots, since she doesn’t have to work nor does she have responsibilitiy like her brothers. I think the drama, did a very good job in aligning her with Yo in earlier episodes.Like Yo,she has the appearances and qualities of the Perfect Royalty,but what they both truly lack is tact,understanding of their true responsibility and original and innovative thinking. They are both not adept at handling pressure and easily break when things don’t go their way. The only difference is Yeonhwa knows how to hide it better.She is corrupt, narrow minded and the definition of wasted beauty and brains,because there is no point in having it all if your priorities and perceptions are fucked up. She doesn’t even want to be a human, she wants to be “ a God above the King”.

The King is furious but this time he sees right through her, and gets her right where it hurts: power. He makes a deal to consummate their marriage and make their child a Crown Prince but in exchange she has to throw away their family and she does , in a heartbeat.

So the King frames her brother and plans to execute him,she doesn’t bat an eye. Her mother approaches her and she basically puts her in her place stating that she is the Queen now and that she has far more things to be concerned about than her brother’s crimes. And her mother is shocked and there is no end to her arrogance.

That is power to Yeonhwa: the need to feel important,powerful,superior and control others and watch as people bow down to her. Everything comes down to her and she has no consideration for anything beyond her. That is why she deserves to be put in her place, as it’s dangerous putting absolute power in her hands, as it’s similar to putting a favourite a toy in a child’s hands. One can only watch as she plays with it until it breaks.

Her brother gets exiled and she still isn’t satisfied and she can’t digest the fact that she has to make sacrifices and get judged while Soo gets all the love. She walks in and as per usual ,places the blame on Soo while saying the most despicable line yet.

“You ruined everything,yet you shamelessly still live?” 

An apt sentence applicable to herself, I’ve always chuckled at how much the things she says to Soo to degrade her are more applicable to her than anyone else.

As she wishes,Soo leaves and dies.But the King doesn’t trust her and doesn’t give her the chance to get involved in politics and she spends her days begging him to visit her and her children. But he’s colder than ever.

The thing about Yeonhwa is ,she has agency and is smart,but she is far from empowering.She props the very system that subjugates her as she only seeks to reap the maximum benefits from it. Her political sense is very narrow ,as it limited to scheming, controlling the clans and elevating herself. The big ambition that she always speaks about cannot be visionary if it doesn’t extend beyond elevating herself. As she would realise later, having the throne won’t make you safe, happy or noteworthy. Because, politics and power is gigantic responsibility more than anything else. This is why Soo unironically ends up having more influence, than her because she sees how the throne affects everyone.We rarely see Yeonhwa understand and express opinions or interests beyond the scheming for power. Authority is making the right desicions , improving the economy, caring for the people ,balancing political and social structure , foreign relations and war tactics.It’s not all power and glory and “ honour and recognition”.This is why sadly, she ends up being a Queen who’s forgotten, despite being the Kings only wife.

I would’ve rooted for her and even accepted her if she showed true,broader understanding of politics and had a true passion for it. But all she has is fascination and obsession.

Powerful Queens throughout history,though hated and slandered at their times, are remembered because they proved to be capable and wise and tended to their responsibility well.No one can deny their ability or legacy,and they mostly sought to uplift their sex during their reign.

Yeonhwa doesn’t care for the responsibility and is very demeaning to her own sex.She usually sees other other women as rivals.Shown through her attitude to Soo or when she asks Yo to divorce his wife.In her mind she is the only capable ,perfect women and other women are below her and she doesn’t bat an eye if they suffer.

Most conclude that Yeonhwa lacks empathy because she was raised in those times. But that’s not true,though you can’t afford love if you’re royalty ,that doesn’t mean you don’t experience it. King Taejo had a love. So,Baek Ah,Eun all experience and show love. Is it just because she is a princess in exile ? No,she very clearly states she lacked something when she had everything as a child. If the exile didn’t happen,she would’ve realised her power hungry nature anyway, as there is no end to her greed and Jealousy, till the end. Even in the last scene we see her hate So’s reforms because she interprets them as gifts to Soo out of Jealousy without realising how powerful it makes her.

The thing is,Just because she is a princess doesn’t mean she is meant to lack empathy. Most conclude this because she is the only princess we see. But the thing is, there is another Princess with the beauty ,wit and scheming skills who can love and be a decent ,kind human being. Her name is Woo Hee,and she sacrificed herself for her people. She was a spy yes,but for a greater cause. She had a horrible childhood , tried to kill and killed a man but that was the true definition of trying to survive. She matured and puts aside her grudges and never inflicts pain on others. Unlike Yeonhwa,she truly understands the responsibility she represents.

If you’re still adamant,let’s take the example of Jung,who was born a Prince and was spoiled in a similar way like Yeonhwa. He can be bull-headed and polarising ,but he understands his responsibility as a prince and fights wars. He loves Soo dearly and selflessly raises her child ,though he never gets the love he craves from her.

All of this leads me to conclude, Yeonhwa is and was the same person she is now. She is vain,shallow ,arrogant and greedy. She wants to be a Kingmaker but she is very shallow and extreme in her execution, as countless scheming displays ambition that never goes unnoticed. Being a Kingmaker requires wit,knowledge, trust and silence. You only help your Prince if he needs it, you don’t push him to it and you try to hide your ambition and knowledge and show your support continuesly . And Soo does this , while Queen Yoo and Yeonhwa make a fool of themselves by putting pressure and scheming. The whole royal family knew of their scheming nature and left them alone in the end.

Her loneliness is well deserved and part of her own making. She threw everyone away and everyone ignored her in the end. She is very much an improved version of Queen Yoo, everyone , especially her family and clan can see it. She stated that she wants power to protect her clan but she proves that she cares little about it,as even in her reign as Queen ,her family was in exile and their clan probably lost their standing. Just like Queen Yoo’s reign.Her mother is now competing with her for the throne.Like she did with Queen Yoo.

But atleast Queen Yoo has other Queens and Court ladies to bully. Yeonhwa has no one but herself and she just has to just settle for it.

In conclusion ,she is the least sympathetic,redeemable villain I’ve come across. What led me to not sympathise with her is how she easily plays victim while she is the most privileged,protected person in the story. Everyone thinks she protected herself,but the truth is she would be nowhere without her position and family. She would be done for if Wook confessed her crimes. I hate it when people who have everything continue to complain about their lives and insist they have it worse more than anyone else,while clearly being ignorant to the suffering of other around them. Every Villain in MLSHR had a redeeming quality,motive ,circumstance or atleast a redeeming relationship with another character. They atleast showed tiniest bits of remorse for their actions and acknowledge villainy. We don’t see her do either ,and she Probably sees her current situation as unfair,still refusing to admit her villainy. She is meant to be hated and interpreted as evil, and I have to give props to Kang Hanna, as she played the role to perfection.

If I had to say one thing about her though, I think marriage for her is survival in a sense that she’s surviving by protecting the only thing she’s known: power. Unlike Hae Soo, while she has her intelligence, she doesn’t have any special skill,knowledge or understanding of life outside the royal family. She doesn’t want to be the wife of a noble or go to Khitain, because it doesn’t provide her with security or position. I think she’s so accustomed to the privileges and riches that she can’t live a life beyond that. She considers it to be lowly and impossible. Her position is the only thing that protects her.While Soo had the favour of four kings,Yeonhwa only had her family and position to keep her safe.

I will admit that she did have her feminist moments, and I appreciate how she was willing to not settle for less. I loved it when she asked if the only way to control women is through marriage and tries to use marriage to elevate herself. But the thing is marriage is control and it all comes down to the value your husband is willing to put on you,especially in patriarchal times like Goryeo. This is discussed in episode five and is very telling of its time. If you’re husband doesn’t trust you and treats you like property,there’s nothing you can do as your worth is attached to the value he sees in you. Do I feel bad for her? No, she very much wanted to reap the benefits of patriarchy than put an end to it . Truth is ,she wanted to control him instead and if she did suceed then only God can help Goryeo.

EDIT: I wondered for long ,why is her character so despicable and greedy,after some contemplation,I’ve reached it.Its for the purpose of historical accuracy, as when you see international version,you see that her mother is plotting to push her grandson on the throne,due to Yeonhwa’s betrayal and thus her nephew becomes King.Historically,Gwangjong mistrusted his five year old son , making her devious and scheming gives depth to that. Her Son ,ruled for five years and had very little interest in politics,which again can be attributed to her ambition and pushy ways. In history her daughters were married off to powerful nobles to establish a strong power base ,which in MLSHR universe proves her to be a hypocrite because we all what she did to escape being married into a noble family.

But it’s exactly what gets her in the end, because at the end of the show her mother pushes her nephew to be King , who ends up marrying her Daughter probably due to her efforts, and her daughter betrays her like she betrayed her mother and becomes his Queen if MLSHR universe is to be assumed. Classic Karmic retribution If I might say.

A chronology of all my different opinions of Prince Hans. ( 2013-2020)

Long version of a old post i already make. my different opinion about Mr.of the southern isles not sure how much thats actually interesting XD but it is truly CRAZY how many opinion i got about that character so i m gonna tried to give the most faithful inside look i have about Hans trought the years.😁

1-Neutrality ( 2013)

I was at first kind of neutral toward Hans. Like i was adoring already the love is an open door and the dynamic between Hans and Anna jinx jinx again it was my fav part 😂 but at the end i was more pleasantly suprise by the twist its was suprising and to me THE thing of the movie. the part exciting to watch again and know people reaction of it.. Like its was the beginning of the twist trend i was more pleasantly surprise that betrayed. I was finding Anna and kristoff really cute together and i remembered the comments "she kiss the others guy at the end its ruined the lesson of the movie" annoyed me a LOT 😂like i find that funny because now i understand more the critiscm of the end. Something that never change was my opinion of the punch at the end......*rolled my eyes* I never though it was something funny even if hans deserve it.

2- Hans is a loathsome character. ( around 2014-2017)

Frozen began to be one those movies with tangled and the princess and the frog that i watch several times because of how entertaining they were. So i begin To really associated Hans to a very messed up character cruel cold sadistic i was having that strong image of him during the betrayal scene. The emotionally abusive Hans to a poor princess . Really the worst part of what he did is how personal and mean he was To Anna. How he treat anna with so much cruelty.

I remember also didnt finding Hans handsome at all and didnt even understanding all the appeal around his design. ( now i have completly change my mind XD ) i think thats hans actions makes him even more ugly to me at that period. That period last a long time because that opinion was at a period i was not at all interest that much of frozen and that period last a long time. So yeah didnt was hating him but highly disliking him.

3- Hans : the disney villain ! ( around 2017)

That we entered in a dark period when i began interest in one thing : writing disney crossover fanfiction. When i treat Hans as every disney classical villain. 😂Every trait à disney villain got hans was having it in my head. I want to cringe at myself at that period because when i was trying to wrote crossover fanfic Hans was someone indicredibly violent who loved blood. i was making him do stupid thing for the sake of doing stupid thing. He really was hate by everyone. He wanted to rules the world i was enjoying makes other character put him down like his brothers or other disney princess and prince😅. Like in my head Hans was a disney villain so there was no way he was being friend with prince and princess But really he was always doing dumb thing and all the princes were hating on him because this is "Hans" you know😂. I took Hans as excuse to have some baddies in the fanfic i was imagining so what about the plot that hans team up with jafar in order To rules over the southern isles 😂 seriously remind myself of these hans period makes me want to hit my head against a wall. Because its obvious now that i was just not interest in the character , i put 0 thinking in his character and was making him do dumb very very dumb things for the sake of making shine the heroes of my fanfic.

Now i beleive this is something we are a lot to do i can name once upon a time who makes hans do stupid thing in order for Anna and kristoff to shine and maleficent who put down every single character of sleeping beauty to makes shine Maleficent sorry Beneficent.

I think at that period i have also learn some stuff about a frozen heart like lars the name of a brothers that is Nice to Hans and was making hans being an asshole to him and lars hating him After arendelle 😄

4- The best villain EVER OK !!!!! (2017-2018)

I think at the level I was reading more frozen fanfic because i got extremely interest in him at the difference of before who really i didnt paid attention to his character at all he was only a very very random disney villain. finally but most importantly i Feel in love with the idea of an evil prince. Sociopath ? He is one. Look i know nothing about anti social personality disorder i put 0 observation in Hans actual personality BUT he was abused by his brothers. See thats not how sociopath are made ? Doesnt people who are abused turn into monster ??? ( god what an awful reasoning i hate now people who say he was abused so thats make sense he is evil) see jennifer lee said he is one ! *disappoint face while reading several people making good arguement as why he is not*

The hints ? I rewatch frozen especially for Hans and notice his face and all the hints were blowing my mind. But most importantly the one at that ice castle and his look at the chandelier to killed elsa. I swear i have read a comment saying the creators confirmed it was not part of the script and an error because i rememeber be very very upset and wanting this hint to be true 😅

Also my worst enemy at that period : the troll theory because it was logical....And the redemption fans wanted.😅 i was like

Now i think i did like Anna 🙄😂 she feel in love with idea of love instead of Hans and me i Feel in love with the idea of an evil prince that took Hans for the character he is..😄

5 : Hans : Anna'ex fiance ( 2018)

The thing with disney princess villain is that most of the times the princess and the prince relationship are at the heart of the movie. So when frozen come out its was cool because elsa and Anna sisters relationship was at the heart of the movie. But in the end we saw more Anna with kristoff that with Elsa so i kind of associated personally frozen with anna and kristoff relationship. So that period where i start to stop having this very rigid point of view and allowed myself getting interest into something i was defitntly not with the other disney princess movies. The relationship between the princess and the villain who here was her ex fiance. So hans Begin in my mind much more Anna ex fiance that a classical disney villains and thats around here i start to truly ship them because i was really exploring Hans relationship with anna and the funny comical post canon relationship between them they could have. like them keep getting inviting at Ball arguing making their own propaganda on their side making love is an open door reference so i discovered there that Hans to me could have a pretty funny amazing dynamic with Anna that i never thought in the past. But it was more at that period start to find Hans and anna relationship interesting that shipping them.

6- team Jacob team peeta sorry team Hans or team kristoff. ( 2018)

My triangle love drama period basically. I began to considerably ship way more hansanna. Of course in post canon redemption story or AU and i think i have at that period read literraly all the hansanna fanfic ever. anna in poly relationship was my otp 😂 began a level where i start to extremely not ship kristanna not ship hansanna but ship them at the same time. 😂

and really shipping kristanna and hansanna alone had not the same charm as shipping them together.

So i began to see Hans more from a shipping point of view that for his own character. even when i watched frozen the very first times i was liking Anna subplot romantic arc with kristoff and Hans. And it was bringing me good old feeling of my teen and pre Teen years when i was addict to the hunger games and twilight and basically love triangle😂. Something there isnt technically in frozen but there are still Anna and two suitors with Hans and kristoff.

7- the grey characters with an interesting family. ( 2018)

Reading more fanfic i start to view him more as a grey characters and start to be interest in hans family. Yeah before i was all the time imagining hans alone didnt really take into consideration the little very little tiny detail that hans is a prince has a kingdom and a pretty big family. I had two strong headcanon about his family his brothers were jerks but just jerks and most of them were nice oh and their dad was dead i was loving the idea of hans older brother be the king. The king and the queen were character that i overlook that i was not interest but i was way more interest in hans brothers. So i continue my view on grey Hans and that relationship with anna i was so interest while being more and more interest in Hans family. So my world of headcanon crush when i discovered more stuff about that book a frozen heart publish by disney. And well in that book most of Hans brothers were really more than jerks but really horrible so first headcanon destroyed but i tried to keep the name Caleb but imagine the character with the personality i like. The king was alive....ok second headcanon destroyed 😅 ok gonna deal with that and like the idea of the king being nice. ( didnt knew how mess up he actually was)

8- the king of the southern isles : view Hans from the point of view of his relationship with his father.( 2019-2020)

The step : i finally command a frozen heart i spoiled myself while reading tv tropes😂😂 ( around that time i created myself a tumblr account) and read that book : basically i got incredibly more interest in : Hans psychology , the king of the southern isles hans relationship with his dad.something that i never through about in the past. But reading tv tropes makes me a LOT interest in the king of the southern isles and Hans relationship with him. really ironic taking my old headcanon into consideration really that book how it developp hans psychology really makes me view him A LOT different. We learn Hans hates violence is a pacifist never do evil thing in his life safe for what he did during those 3 years for his dad but he hates every bit of it. So i really started to view Hans dependant under the influence of his father and thinking that what is evil with Hans is more that toxic relationship with his father than Hans himself. Every bad thing he did this is because of his father corrosive influence. Thats also a period when i start to really saw him from a psychologist point of view his daddy issues his trauma. So yeah A Frozen Heart make me really see Hans in a whole new light

9- Hans the victim and the not so great villain (2020)

So now i think we move to my recent opinion well i m sorry but i cant ignore stuff publish my disney not a matter of liking a frozen heart or not To me stuff publish by disney are canon until Proven not and also i read that a group was form when frozen began something huge to keep everything same in the franchise. So after reading and analyzing a frozen heart thinking...thinking way too much about it i start to think even more about Hans😂. And here we got a character with a very big Ndad hans being his scapegoat who was all his life emotionally, verbally , physically , mentally abused since he is little victim of narcissist abuse. All the times reject , humiliated, bully and thats very hard to ignore all of That because from jeenifer lee word of Hans childhood to that recent comic disney publish with little Hans. They really go for : hans has a very messed up life. I m sorry but at this point thats canon. And the problem i have is that all of That that is defintly not a tragic backstory the character is still very much being currently mistress , abused and neglect by his family. He is still living that life as a kid as a teen as a young adult as an adult And nope whatever how much we like elsa and anna and it was wrong what hans do. He do not deserve to be punished by his abusers. And his abusers do not deserve to punish him. So when you have disney giving all that information about him showing him being a interesting character complex that has never do anything evil on his own wish except in frozen. But most importantly giving him such an Horrible life something that was never do for the others disney villain this is really hard to consider Hans a true disney villain. And yeah he is the villain of Anna and elsa story but very much the victim from the point of view of his family. So thats all of this that makes hans a character that truly break my heart for what he has endure and is still enduring in his life. So my current vision of Hans is victim Hans of course i repeat not toward elsa and Anna you know the kind of stuff some people would twist about what i say but a victim because Hans got very very bigger villain in his life on the contrary of the others disney villains. What is even more sad is that the two people that cares for him lars and his mom dont even stand up for him in public. So thats really complicated....even ship i slighty change my mind i ship even more hansanna , i ship kristanna and Anna in a poly relationship is still my otp🤣🤣 but...getting a tumblr account last summer and reading the whole blog fnafiction.net and archive of our own had be associated kristanna with not very good thing but i still like the ship. What change a lot is my view on him as villain now i agree that the twist sucks 😅it wasnt done very well and the hints...after reading some stuff now i belive most of them are creation of the fans. So thats a whole different point of view. 😂😂and nah hans has a lot of people above him in the hierarchy , he was not the big obstacle of the movie and i found out that Hans lying to anna was not even a thing at all during love is an open door while paying attention at several stuff on the franchise ( i make several post about it on my blog) the hints when hans look at the chandelier dont even exist in the scenario i chekced it. Hans was a bad guy to ony the main characters elsa and anna at the difference of the others disney villains. So all of those stuff compare to disney villains make hans to me A weak villain and more fitting in the disney princes line up as he is too me interesting and complex but not at the level of evil queen tremaine frollo scar shang yu jafar ursula maleficent dr facilier.

So yeah thats makes a 180 degree change just like him in the movie 😄 i dont know maybe my mind is gonna change again ?

it really never happen to me with any other disney character before To change so much my mind.

“Perfection”- aka this better happen in S5

 This is part of my head canon for S5 of She-Ra

Entrapta threw her body onto the bed provided in her cell, headfirst onto the one pillow given to her by her "emperor". She had allowed herself to have been taken captive by a group of horde soldiers in hopes of finding out what had become of her lab partner and was now a guest of Horde Prime. Apparently he, Horde Prime, had found her flaws "intriguing", and now wanted to keep her as a pet of sorts. 'Imperfection is beautiful', her own words echoing through her head.

The sound of her door beginning to open, made her lift her head up. Her eyes widened when she noticed, the familiar silhouette standing in the doorway. The silhouette then walked into the room and Entrapta sat up, her hair standing on edge, poised to strike, like snakes waiting for the perfect moment to attack.

"Hi Catra! How's it been!", Entraptra spoke, her voice lighthearted and warm.

Catra looked anywhere but her and anytime she did look at her she would wince. Entrapta didn't know why she found this pleasing. But then Catra seemed to wake up from whatever thoughts were plaging her mind and stared Entrapta dead in the eyes. "H-hey Entrapta.", the cat girl spoke, her signature taunt weakened by the slight fear in her voice.

Despite the ease in Entrapta's shoulders, her hair never went slack.

"So! What brings you to my room? Here to electrocute me again?", Entrapta said, her teasing tone hiding just the slightest hint of malice. "Or are you here to trick my lab partner into believing I betrayed him? Oh wait he's not here!"

"No! Lord- I mean Emperor Horde Prime requests your presence in his throne room." Catra replied, pretending her hiccup in titles didn't happen.

Entrapta just stared at Catra blankly for about 3 seconds before smiling and jumping out of the bed. "Okay then! Lead the way!"

Catra jumped a little, probably at seeing how fast Entrapta was able to move when she wanted. She regained her composure and coughed into her hand to refocus Entrapta's attention on her. Catra coughed,"He wants you to wear this." Extending a long purple dress towards Entrapta.

Entrapta's hands grabbed the robe and she studied the intricate designs of the fabric. Then she looked back up at Catra and asked, "How did you hide this behind your back without me noticing?"

Entrapta walked through the hallway, her eyes scanning for her Hordak. There were look alikes everywhere, each one standing in the same pose, waiting for orders. Sure, they may look like Hordak, but there was always something wrong about each of them. Wrong eye shape, chin is slightly, larger mouth is too wide. She frowned but didn't give up. She had to find him. Hordak was somewhere on this ship, Bow told her that he was beamed up to Horde Prime's ship with Glimmer when they had left Despondos.

That was the whole reason she had allowed herself to have been taken captive, which is why she was currently being escorted by two clones to what she assumed was Horde Prime's throne room. With her attention occupied she didnt notice that the hordak wannabes had stopped walking making her bump into them. She looked up past the clones and saw a giant door with the Horde insignia on it. They were here. Horde Prime lay just beyond this door.

She expected the clones to open the door immediately instead they were still, waiting for orders most likely. She sighed and continued observing the spaceship.

After two minutes and 43 seconds, she counted, the door started to slide up, and soon she was greeted by very bright lights. She wished she had her goggles, but those had been confiscated by Glimmer when she had first been taken prisoner.

"Hello Princess", a voice called out. And Entrapta was pushed forward, 'yay more walking', she thought. She kept her head down, and she trudged along the catwalk. Then her face was roughly grabbed by a hand, forcing her to look up.

Fuschia pink met lime green, this was him. This was Horde Prime. 'The Emperor of the Known Universe', Hordak's voice rang in her head.

"My little brother's memories do not do you justice. You are more beautiful than anyother lifeform I've come across before.", His voice gentle and suave, complete contrast to the rough way he held her.

Any other woman would have probably blushed at his words but Entrapta felt nothing. She will say that her curiousity increased at his words. 'Little brother's memories? Does that mean he can read minds? Ooh how does he do that! Is it magic? Or is it some form of technological device!', Entrapta willed away those thoughts, she had to focus. She was a princess on a mission.

" Do you mean Hordak?", she asked.

"Hor-dak?", Prime genuinely seemed confused by her words until a look of realization came across his face. He let her face go and put a little space inbetween them "Ah, yes that is the name he gave himself is it not? Such a strange name is it not?"

Entrapta didnt respond, her eyes taking in his every movement. When the sound of what she could only assume was music began to fill the room, Entrapta began looking for the  speaker or speakers, hoping to see new more advanced tech.

"Princess, would you care to dance with me?", Horde Prime asked, his eyes leaving no room for opposition. His hand extended towards her, waiting for her hand. She complied. Despite not knowing the dance, she easily followed his lead. It was a simple one step forward, one step backwards kind of dance. His eyes never leaving hers, “So my Dear Princess, what do you think of my fine ship? It is glorious is it not?”, he asked, the corners of his lips rising as he spoke.

“It is very fascinating, but I haven’t exactly been able to explore it during my stay here.”, Entrapta said, deciding to use the fancy wording her mother had taught her to use when talking to someone that could be deemed a threat. 

“I’ll be sure that you see every inch of the ship then,” His voice almost gentle, she would’ve believed him genuine if not for the tight hold he kept her hand. 

“Oh, how generous of you, my emperor!”, she exclaimed in mock cheer. If he was angered by her tone, he didn’t show it. Every nerve of Entrapta’s body lit up in alarm. 

“What do you know, my little brother’s memories of your smile was a bit exaggerated. Not as wide, but all the while gentle and perfect.” He joked. All four of his eyes trained on her, amusement clear in all of them.

“Perfection is a very important thing to you huh?”, she asked, trying very hard not to trip when he suddenly spun her around. 

“Perfection is key my  princess, perfection is what ensures that my empire stays the absolute power I spent years crafting.” He chuckled slightly. 

Entrapta shivered a bit at the sheer power that radiated from him. Her eyes widened when he dipped her. 

“My dear Princess, perfection is true beauty, when everything in the universe aligns together to create something truly magnificent. Unlike when the universe created my failure of a littler brother.”, He laughed.

Entrapta’s eyes widened, she felt something inside her snap when he simply agreed and started to go on and on about how Hordak’s time on Etheria only furthers his place as a failure. “Why would you want a failure of my little brother when you could have me, pure perfection? Why would anyone want a copy when the original is an option?”

“Perfection?”, Entrapta whispered under her breath. 

Horde Prime smiled and said “Yes, perfect-” his claim went out the window as Entrapta sucker punched him with her hair. He fell to the floor, grasping his chin, Horde clones came running towards them only to stop when Horde Prime raised his hand to signal them to stop. 

“Why would I want perfection when imperfection is beautiful! Why would I want the original when the copy has the same value if not more?”, she yelled. her twin tails each sporting their own fists ready to use for combat. 

Horde Prime then got up on his feet and walked towards her, Entrapta resisted the urge to run away from him. If there’s one thing she learned during her time on Beast Island, you never turn your back on an unpredictable beast. 

“This is why I desire you as my empress, you will be the perfect example of how the Horde can turn someone as willful as you into the perfect bride.”, he laughed, Entrapta flinched slightly as his hand caressed her cheek. His eyes then turned to the clones. 

“Clones 589-WX and 743-JP, escort my princess to her new laboratory. My princess, I do hope you enjoy the present I left waiting for you in there.” With that order Entrapta was then forced out of the throne room.

Entrapta almost skipped on her way to "her new lab!", the only reason she didn't was because she was still in the dress given to her by Horde prime and didn't want to risk tripping. She was glad to be free from Horde Prime’s presence eagerly waiting to explore her new lab and find possible escape routes for when she and Hordak are ready to leave.

When the clones escorting her stopped, she was prepared this time. She ground her heels into the floor and was practically jumping as she waited for the door to open. With all that new tech at her disposal, she could find Hordak much faster. When the door opened Entrapta was greeted by a figure standing at the entrance waiting for her. Entrapta's eyes widened, her heart rate increased, her breath was caught in her throat, it was him. It was really him. Hordak! She found him!

"Hordak!", She cried out and tackled him into a hug. Almost toppling the two over. She used her hair to regain her balance and to make it so that their faces were in equal height. "I found you Lab Partner!" His eyes then began flickering, from lime green to red and back to lime green again.

"E-En-", his voice sounded worse for wear. She only hugged him tighter. "Entrap-ta", When she felt his arms wrap around her she started to cry. From a trickle to a stream, her sobs only muffled by his shoulder. Then his shoulders stiffened and went back to his sides. His eyes were back to that awful shade of lime green. Entrapta's sobs were now at full force.

After what seemed like forever, she lifted her head off of him, and stared into his eyes. " I know you're in there Hordak. I don't know how, but I swear I'll get you back. Even if it takes me the rest of my life! I wont give up on you Lab Partner! Maybe then I’ll be able to tell you how I feel about you without getting interrupted. " When his eyes flashed that familiar shade of red, she smiled. "Now to get my overalls back!"

(Author's note) A little angsty at the end, but this was a challenge for me to make. And sorry if the characters were a bit Oc, I tried to keep them as true to the original as I could, but my mind is deadset on pure angst. Hoped you enjoyed!
