In my never-ending quest to be a nerd about fonts/graphic design that nobody cares about, I identified the font in this business card, modded it slightly (mainly creating the leaf and acorn symbols), and recreated it!
#I saw the 'k' characters in the font and knew I had to find out what it was#the business card is from 1915#the font is Post Oldstyle Roman No.2 by ATF#The digitized version I used is Saturday Morning Toast Nf#Since the font was designed for the Saturday Evening Post I believe?#In like 1902#also pls nobody use this to figure out exactly where I live#to do the full font properly I'd have to also do the special symbols for 'The' 'ct' and 'of' and alternates for 'o' 'f' 'O' and 'S'#I did the alternates for 'E' and 'R' because they're used in the business card
