Wild that folks keep saying beekeepers abuse bees as if bees are not both venomous flying animals and fully unionized
#anyway i think they do cull younger queen bees if i remember right from the beekeeper vids ive watched#but basically every thing a beekeeper does is like. literally to stop bees from killing themselves#if a new young queen appears or the hive is otherwise showing signs of wanting to abscond#but the hive is too small to safely be split#then you have to deal w that problem bc if they cant handle that the whole hive dies out#and theres a real danger of absconding because. i mean. as we all know bees are dying out in the wild#bees deciding to fuck off into the wild is a danger to them#but the worry about insects feeling pain is just so wild#like sorry you have probably killed hundreds of insects in your life no matter what#with your windshield. with your shoes. with your butt. maybe on purpose maybe not#at some point you just gotta stop giving a fuck lmfao#to be honest people dont wanna hear it but we've probably all eaten more bugs than we even know.#you 100% sure that EVERY piece of veggie you've eaten didn't have a larvae sleeping inside it?
