when i first started checking out d.e.b.s aka that old 2004 cult classic with lesbian spies, i was simply expecting a kinda-raunchy and very campy movie. i was not expecting said kinda-raunchy and very campy movie with aforementioned lesbian spies to be actually kinda cute-

#to be fair i haven't watched the entire movie (i'm a very busy uni student rn forgive me)#i only watched whatever clips i could find on youtube #and like #i am genuinely surprised? like i dunno i just had the general impression that this movie had a level of raunchiness #and whatever clips ive seen before made it look rather low budget so i honestly didnt expect much #but like the whole thing is actually kinda cute!#id argue that perhaps it could be set up a little better so that the pacing would make more sense and a relationship be better developed #like this movie could potentially benefit from a remake #BUT AS IT EXISTS i find the love story really cute! it's lighthearted and honestly cute and i like that!#good change of pace! sometimes i just wanna get cute no-much-fuss queer shit and that's perfectly nice!#so yea no formal review as of the moment since im too fucking busy to actually watch movies #but the verdict on the overall love story in debs is that i think its genuinely cute!#d.e.b.s.#ALSO LUCY DIAMOND IS HOT THERE I SAID IT #and i like how dorky she can be with amy like i really genuinely like that
