idk this is the first time i've seen a john post i so viscerally disagree with, particularly from people whose analyses i otherwise really agree with lol
#personal#to be clear i'm not a john hater i just think my interpretation of him is much less charitable#i think his journey is incredibly understandable#power corrupting a once reasonable and decent man#but he chose to go down the path he did#he made bad choices and turned into a bad person#he didn't have to do that#he let his flaws consume him#edit from months in the future: actually i am a john hater
