Suiren may be an almost direct projection of me, but there is one very big difference between us:

Suiren: While you couldn't torture this information out of her, she's desperate to be called by her real, full name. She's been denied it for so long that hearing someone call her Suiren in a loving tone immediately makes her melt

Me: If you call me ***nia I will not hesitate before ripping you to shreds

#to be clear Suiren also doesn't mind being called Renny but only by Midori and no one else #meanwhile all variations of my name make me kinda uncomfy #even Nia. honestly. it's the best out of what I've got bc I came up with it myself. it's not an existing shortening of my real name #but it still never felt quite right. its been almost 6 years and I haven't gotten used to it #but I don't know how to even start going about coming up with something new #there was never anything I liked being called so I don't have anything to go off of #ughhhhhh #names are hard #but that's not what this post is about okay nia calm down
