Best thing about none of the characters in TMA having canonical appearances is that basically any description you give them falls into the shadowy valley between headcanon and canon

Jon wears skirts? Sure, the show never says otherwise.

Melanie has dyed hair? Well, she IS a youtuber.

Tim is hot? Okay, well that's canon but how does that hotness manifest? As long as he's hot, it doesn't matter lmao

I've never been in a fan space where the creativity liberties are so-- liberal, for lack of a better word. It's so fun to see how people interpret these characters and watch how we all play in the sandbox together

You absolutely without a doubt have one of my favorite Michaels I’ve ever seen!

The way you draw him reminds me a bit of both Freaky Fred from Courage the Cowardly Dog and Jervis Tetch from Batman the Animated Series, and I absolutely adore that!

You also have such a cool way of drawing his hair! The curls are so detailed and confounding and almost looks like a living thing- it’s such a cool effect!

❤️ What is your favorite line that you’ve written in a fic?

oooo this is tough! I have to go with this line from the fic I’m working on right now, which kinda goes too hard for a fanfiction that involves a man falling in love with mold

💥 What is one canon thing that you wish you could change?

Eddie Brock being the King in Black. I know there’s a lot of people who think it’s cool and like it, but to me it just feels out of place for him. like he should just be A Guy™️, not like the commander of all symbiotes and able to move through time or whatever the hell is going on right now in the current run.

⏰️ Do you like to post fics on a schedule or at random?

they’re definitely at random! it’s just whenever I get bursts of inspiration, I’m trying to be more regular (especially with VenomFest— I’m trying to keep up with it being weekly) but yeah, there’s no schedule 😅

👓 What helps you focus when you write?

this is gonna make me sound like an iPad baby but I love having videos I’ve already seen on in the background while I write! if Coffeezilla isn’t explaining a scam on my tv while I write on my phone/laptop than I am operating at like 50% efficiency 💀 It’s so bad 😭

🦋 Which character is your favorite to write?

I absolutely love writing the Venom Symbiote!! they’re such a goober it makes them so enjoyable to write! also it’s so fun to write about human things from the perspective of a guy who’s confused by them all the time.

🦈 Which character is the toughest to write?

Don’t know if he’s actually tough to write but part of the reason I haven’t written any symbiOT3 fics is because I’m scared of fucking up Flash 😭 I get like that with new characters, I get so petrified of writing them even though I find when i actually do write them it’s not as bad as I think. like it took me a while to build up to writing comics!Eddie, even though he’s not that hard to write (imo) and very fun to write!

💭 What inspires you and your writing?

my genuine answer is honestly not far off from that though— Venom and Eddie just exist in my brain all the time and writing about them helps me from just rotating them in my brain all day.

🧪 Do you research for your fics?

a bit? it depends on what I’m writing because most of it isn’t stuff that requires research, but if I ever get around to my Malevolent/Venom crossover I’m going to have to figure out how investigations actually work.

🔥 Have you included any sexy scenes in your fics? If yes, do you find them easy or difficult to write?

I have written them and I find them lowkey difficult to write 😭 I love writing them— all the ones I have published right now are x reader fics but the TMA au does get weirdly horny. listen okay im not crazy the corruption draws on sexual horror so it’s narratively compelling for Eddie to be horny for mold— [I am dragged out of the room by armed security guards]

💘 Is it easier to write angst or fluff?

fluff!! I find it hard to write angst— I just want all of them to be happy and gay and live happily ever after

💡How many WIPs do you currently have?

Currently I have two WIPs! I’ve got my Magnus archives AU, which has three WIP chapters, and I started writing a Eddie/Venom/Reader smut fic >:3

some of my irl friends beta read and edit my fics!! @fist-of-vengeance and @cyborg-empress are what keeps me from publishing fics with typos and just overall issues, I cannot thank them enough!!

it was a pretty cold night in the woods the forest was dark and there was only a little light Tomas wondered why he ever accepted this mission and had chosen to go alone but there was the answer on his mind telling him the reason he chbose 'because kuai doesnt trust anyone' tmas thought his grey irisis wondering around and looking at the forest.

he kept traveling in his smoke form where he is pure smoke, he stopped smoke traveling and landed on top of a tree his eyes landing on a temple. The temple looked old and ancient with ruin symbols all over the wall Tomas couldn't recognize the symbols from afar, but his gaze was still at the entrance of the temple keeping watch if anyone goes inside it or not but as he watched his vision started to blur and before he looked back, he had been knocked out.

Hatsune travel in the outside world was going pretty well scratch that it was going like hell she didn't get the surface peoples customs as of why they were sitting on the street and stealing food and money from each other. to her this was just like the NetherRealm and worse of all they didn't know anything about the imbalance in time as if the people didn't know what actually happened but there was one thing certain the old queen of outworld had died and the cause was still mysterious, but the most shocking fact was that the emperor had come back to life in a new body of something known as ermac. she had yet to investigate more on this matter and find out the truth of what had caused this for the sake of the NetherRealm.

her red eyes observed around the town in her disguise she created a small flame in her hands and started writing in an ancient language.

Hatsune walked from the marketplace after gathering the intel she needed to use for her research as she walked in the town people, she noticed people giving her weird glances every now and then as she showed no emotion as she walked and paying close attention to her surroundings observing everyone and looking at the things that are happening.

she walked around with a smirk and bumped into a person "watch where you are going!" Hatsune said but she paused as she felt a weird aura around the person.

The stranger wore black and grey robes and a skull mask as they walked their uniform was different as well the person had an aura around them aura Hatsune knew too well the dark, intimidating, fearful and smelled like the dead it was the magic from the NetherRealm.

With her curiosity getting the better of her Hatsune decided to follow the person in the shadows watching where they were headed her appearance being kept in the shadows if there was one thing she is learned as a warrior is too be stealth and invisible in the eyes of the enemy and never ever let them see you.

the forest in the enemy territory was dark Hatsune saw the temple that had lied in the middle of the forest her eyes widen seeing the runes written "these people are from NetherRealm and chaos realm..." Hatsune mumbled her hand tracing on the obsidian brick touching the runes on the walls she started to hear people mumbling inside.

hatsune climbed upon the walls and entered through the balcony seeing what was happening, people wearing the same armour as the NetherRealm person her eyes widen seeing each one of their auras the senses of both chaos and death getting into her head 'this is too much' she thought to herself but heard their conversation.

"We have gathered here today to meet for an important task that will change our fate" a person who wore a skull crown said to the people who were silent, but they were attentive to the words "that must be the leader" Hatsune thought to herself as she listened.

"Sir are you sure about this" one of the members said, "I am sure my disciple using this we will revive our former master and put an end to the bastard god of the NetherRealm Hanzo Hisashi" one of the leaders said, 'they want to do what!?' Hatsune thought Hanzo was a gentle soul and worthy ruler of the NetherRealm he has won the NetherRealm people's hearts but why would they even think to try and overthrow him? That was the main question that lingered in her mind.

"Don't you see Hanzo Hisashi has always been gifted but he was never meant to be our king the NetherRealm has grown weak in his rule, it is our job to put a stop to it" the leader said, "and how would we do that?" one of the disciples asked the leader smirked under his mask "by reviving Shinnok" the leader said.

Hatsune was shocked to hear that it would be impossible to revive Shinnok as you once kill a god they would never be revived back "sir haven't you heard the myth ones a god is killed-" "they can never be revived back, but what if I tell you that I have found a way to revive him myself..." the leader said to them "I have found the map to the fountain of wishes where we can only wish for one thing wealth , fame and even reviving a person even a god" the leader said to them.

'The fountain of wishes' Hatsune thought this was a very dangerous game they were playing and Hatsune wasn't enjoying this one "but how are we going to get their sir the Enenra have been lost for centuries they cannot answer unless..." another one of the members said and looked towards something "i have already prepared for the sacrifice a person with the same powers as the Enenra" the leader said to them with a smirk suddenly two members bought a person carrying them by their arms and throwing them on the ground.

Tomas woke up his head pounding as he was thrown on the ground and his eyes widen seeing all the people in the room "who are you!?" smoke asked them he could have attacked them at the chance, but he was feeling weak after he had woken up "welcome enenra..." the leader said with a smirk " what do you want!?" Tomas asked anger in hie eyes as he hid his fear in his heart "you are going to be a great use for us" the leader said with a smirk "he wont be used as a sacrifice" a voice came out of nowhere red aura started to surround the room 'why does it smell like death' Tomas thought to himself.

everyones eyes went to the person who jumoed from the balcony landing on the ground it was hatsune "who are you!?" the leader asked "not a patient one are you..." hatsune said with a small smirk "whart are you going to do its just you alone you tiny little girl" one of the members said as the others laughed thinking she would do no harm until the air suffocated around them causing the to be unable to breath properly.

Hatsune looked at them her dark brown hair flowed in the wind her red eyed glowed as her smirk turned into a grin the red aura surrounded her hand lifting towards the enemy her staff glowing in the dark "that's not a way to speak to your superior you tiny little incubus's" Hatsune said "who are you!?" the leader demanded.

Tomas was also curious to know who the strange woman was she seemed like someone who will not hesitate to kill to everyone she seemed like a normal girl but to him she was the embodiment of chaos born from the darkness of the night sky and raised among the dead.

hatsune looked at the scared and anger look on their faces of witnessing her power at first "just tell us who you are!!" the leader shouted hatsune looked at the leader her eyes sending shivers down his spine she spoke in a threatening voice as she started at them saying the three words.

"i am death"

hats took her staff as the people broke free from her grasp and launched themselves towards her, she immidiately stabbed the two-member running towards her in a single blow as their blood splattered on the ground while the other members who ran towards her stopped as fire raised from the ground the crimson red fire engulfed the remaining members leaving their bones to dust.

Hatsune looked around as the leader was nowhere in sight, she went to Tomas who was looking at her a bit scared Hatsune bent down her neutral expression on her face "it's alright i won't hurt you." Hatsune said a warm yellow light started to come out of her hands as she started to heal Tomas "thank you" Tomas said nervously Hatsune looked at Tomas "would you mind explaining what happened" Hatsune said to Tomas "i was actually on a mission-" suddenly they heard a cry coming from the basement "what was that" tomas said hatsune stood up and went with tomas standing up and going behind her.

"I haven't gotten your name" Tomas said as he walked behind Hatsune she looked at Tomas she had saved this man's life and he deserved to know his saviors name she sighed " its Hatsune" Hatsune said Tomas "I am Tomas it's really nice to meet you!" Tomas said to Hatsune "sorry but I have no time to make friends" Hatsune said to Tomas as she went forward Tomas went behind her "I was actually hoping we can be allies instead after all we are the only ones who know about the cult" Tomas said Hatsune thought for a moment she was not keen on making allies, but the trouble was big especially the fact the cult was reviving Shinnok which was not good at all s for now maybe she would need one she looked at Tomas "fine" Hatsune said to Tomas who smiled at her happily.

they both went deep into the dungeons "so i was thinking maybe we can discuss this in secret I can share my knowledge and you can share yours so what do you-" "Tomas" Hatsune said she came into a stop and Tomas stopped behind her as well "what's the matter-" "look Infront of you" Hatsune said and Tomas looked Infront to see a cage and inside the cage was something horryfing.

a young boy was shackled in chains around his hands and legs keeping them apart his mouth covered with a iron mask keeping him from shouting and hie eyes having tears his skin was pale hiseyes closed as he was covered in sweat and bruises.

"Those monsters...." Tomas said Hatsune was in shock to speak the person chained up looked like a kid at least a teenager "we should free him-" "tomas stop" hatsune sad stopping tomas who was confused when suddenly they saw his eyes opened as his normal black eyes turned into golden eyes with black hilts this caused hatsune and tomas to have one thing in their mind

My favorite podcast trope is when serious or skeptical characters have to read a firsthand account from another person witnessing the supernatural and they're just like time to prove I'm a theater kid.

There's absolutely no reason they need to turn on their voice acting skills and micmic people's accents but they do it anyway and it's incredibly entertaining every single time.
