#jackdaw#birds#corvid#cute#good morning 🌻🌻🌻#so i have discovered in regards to our jackdaws#that unlike many of the other birds that visit our garden... these critters are Smart™#not that our pigeons and sidney's family are not smart ofc. but the jackdaws fundamentally understand mankind cannot be trusted 🤣😭🤪#maybe it's because they aren't tame yet? they don't fear us but they are wary of me hovering with the camera and will fly away#to the extent they recognize when we're nearing the windows for any reason by watching our shadows behind the curtain 🤣#tl;dr this is the only jackdaw i've managed to take video of at length because he feeds with the pigeons on the ground#the others hang out on the standing feeder but not this one. he stays at the edges of the pigeon flock(s) and forages for seed#ryzhik hates him 🤦♀️ if he goes near ryzhik rushes in and tries to drive him off#but he continues to stick around. this was him after the pigeon flock had left and he was eating all the leftovers#a canny eyed creature))#that's our newest garden drama. i hope to return with more exciting jackdaw vids sooner rather than later 😄#may your sunday be a good one my friend! 💖💖💖💖💖
