Doctors' Strike in West Bengal: 12/08/24
Rabindranath Tagore said:
অন্যায় যে করে আর অন্যায় যে সহে
তব ঘৃণা যেন তারে তৃণসম দহে।
So we are not going to remain silent. We will take to the streets and raise our voices. The authorities will listen to us, they have to
Didi, forgive us, we could not give you security. But we will give you justice.
One of the biggest rallies in Kolkata that was not called by any political party. Students, doctors, professors, citizens, everyone showed up.
Who will fight this battle? You and me, who else?

ATWM (CH-2)
Yuthika looks up. Her eyes soften at the enchanting sight of blues and yellows. "Van Gogh, mother," she answers with a dreamy sigh. "I don't think I can ever get over this painting."
The swirling lines of the cosmos painted into the artwork make Tilottama feel hypnotised. "I appreciate this piece, but this arrangement never fails to make me dizzy. Don't you feel the same?"
Yuthika doesn't say a word. Her smile says it all, making her mother look fondly at her. "Sometimes, I believe, your soul accidentally entered an apsara's body. I don't think humans down there would be this fascinated with themselves like you."

MWW Artwork of the Day (2/3/24) Khmer Empire (Indochina, 802-1431 CE) Sunda and Upasunda fight over Tilattama (c. 967) Bas-relief from Banteay Srei Temple, Cambodia Musée Guimet, Paris
This depicts a scene from the Mahabharata in which the Asura brothers Sunda and Upasunda fight over the Apsaras Tilottama. In Hinduism, the asuras are a group of power-seeking deities different from the benign deities known as devas. The two brothers here embarked on a campaign of world domination that began with a program of extreme asceticism in the mountains. Their asceticism generated such extreme heat that the gods themselves became exceedingly alarmed. Unsuccessfully, the gods attempted to distract the brothers through the enticement of maidens and by means of disturbing illusions of rampaging Rakshasas.

Incorrect quote prompt: Two Gandharvas are in love with each other, and one day Indra finds out about em.
Indra has experience about this bro. The time when Urvashi, Tilottama, Menaka, Rambha and Ghritachi came out to him and owned up their poly relationship. He was pretty ok.
-
Indra: You both need something?
Gandharva 1: Yes.. My Lord... Gandharva 2 and I are.. dating..
Indra:
Indra: Not this again.
Gandharva 2: Please My Lord. We will continue to serve you, but accept us.
Indra: I HAVE NO CHOICE!
