The puritan brainrot taking so many socials by storm, the "porn-brained" concept is a result of this fundamental idea of Patriarchy trying to repackage and reassert itself as a dominant social framework.

The anxiety over cheating, under this framework, is a consequence of the anxiety that such a reality would create in anyone who has accepted their lot as a Woman or Man in this dichotomy, and fears losing their only perceived source of worth and/or a valuable piece of property(because patriarchy oppresses both groups, regardless of what some dumb fuck who's never masturbated without crying before might tell you).

TLDR: Your desire to monopolize someone else's attention is in fact a weird and toxic consequence of you internalizing the social values of the fucked up world you live in. Not "romantic love" or a valid response to being really into someone. It's just your anxiety over being worthless in a society that values you only as far as you can be useful property, or control useful property (be willingly exploited, or exploit others with value).
