this is so mean to me lmao but well. As a reminder J'onn (and all of the martians) are also canonically genderfluid.

It's not just "shapeshifter stuff" too, J'onn has chosen the forms of women that he felt represented himself best and in the New 52 Martian Manhunter solo where J'onn is split into multiple personas, his identity as a woman represented his heart. J'onn has comfortably explored multiple forms as a means of understanding not just humans, but himself as well.

As a bonus, J'onn has also canonically self identified as asexual (though in context he likely means agender):
