I brought the skirt I'm working on to the museum yesterday, to get some hand-sewing done at the desk between tours (a lot of my projects end up being done half-hand and half-machine, because I love working on the train or during downtime at my various jobs). you know, the one made of the God-Tier WoolTM

when I invited my coworker, a 19-year-old student, to feel the fabric- in that "OH MY GOD FEEL THIS!!!" tone -her jaw dropped

she had never felt soft, light- or even medium-weight wool in her life. she previously thought, it turns out, that all wool was coarse, heavy, and itchy. she couldn't stop stroking it with that awestruck look on her face

truly, fuck fast fashion and the modern garment industry. for depriving us of sensory richness in our clothing so thoroughly that most of us don't even know what we've lost

no literally like dgmw i love loop in Outfits and will probably draw that at some point soon but like. to me post-canon loop is like. a guy who is convinced they are living in the epilogue of their successful clone’s life. Eventually they will slay but it’s gonna take like three years of therapy and probably a considerable amount of lexapro. for now it’s depression fit

going through some of the tags in your blog (hope you don’t mind) and briefly stumbled across art of buck wearing crop top … life changing stuff and made me wonder: what’s the ‘fanciest’ clothes he has, and what occasion would he use them?

literally LOVE when people go through my tags thank you for your service... as for Fancy Buck Clothes probably the closest he'd have is something like the button-up in this ref sheet? I don't think he wears it often if at all; maybe if he's gotta go undercover somewhere with a dress code, or if he wants to dress up a little for a date with Davey (not like they can really go anywhere, but it's the principal, you know?) otherwise he sticks to his worn-down practical wear pretty much all the time.

A few little sketches of some possible school uniforms for mage schools/learning centers for magic/etc. :0c Though because Nanyevimi is so scattered and disconnected, it'd actually vary much more by region (like not everywhere would have a cultural concept of what a suit jacket or neck tie looks like lol), so it's probably unrealistic for so many of them to follow too many traditional Uniform Conventions from cultures in our world, etc. But, still, fun to mess around with designs, and think about which would be most fun to wear/what school you'd go to just based off the clothing lol~

I've never really had a problem with hoarding yarn. I typically only buy some when I have a plan for it, so the yarn I have on hand is not so much a stash as a visual representation of exactly how far behind I am on making socks.

fabric, however......that is very much a stash, and it is definitely getting out of hand.
