when: recent dayz with: @temperednuvi where: bacchus notes: mwah <3
Vineyards always reminded Gulizar of home. Some of her first memories were of running amongst the vines of grapes, picking ones that were weren't quite ripe and far too sour. She remembers the way Yuldiz's lips would pucker when she tricked her into tasting one. As an adult, they'd taken on an entirely different meaning.
Bacchus was one of her preferred venues for drinking, mostly for the quality of the wine, and partially due to the company. Sometimes Guli wanted a calm, serene view to drink to, rather than a rowdy club or bar. Further, people were always more tolerable with a cup of wine in hand.
That was something Nuvi likely knew all too well, having owned the winery herself. Gulizar had always been enthralled by the elvhen's powers, secretly. She hoped to catch a glimpse of her today, and it turned out, today she was lucky for once. The blonde sat outside on the porch outside the main building, watching Nuvi work her magic on the fields far away. Guli was normally content to watch in silence, but in an unusual turn of events, she found herself walking out amongst the green, close enough to draw Nuvi's attention. "Greetings, Shenuvun." Gluizar gave a formal nod, and the slightest of smiles. "You'll have to teach me a few of your tricks, sometime."

Gulizar moved in closer towards the elvhen woman, hands clasped in front of her gracefully as she carefully stepped through the dirt. It was true she'd never master the kind of magic that flowed through Nuvi's veins, and Guli had always been a tad jealous of the elvhen who were born with such unique abilities. Perhaps her's was one only a Druid could even hope to replicate. "You're probably right about that. I admittedly am not very in touch with nature, and I doubt it would do my bidding." It didn't help that she spent most of her time locked up inside the Tower.
She then reached out a delicate hand, fingers brushing against one of the leaves of the vines Nuvi had worked so hard to cultivate. "I see you've managed to keep the leaf growth limited. I'm sure the grapes are growing happily as they soak up the sun." she offered a small tidbit of knowledge she had stored deep in her memory, collected during the childhood she'd spent growing up on a vineyard. Bacchus' vineyard here, with Shenuvun, felt much more homely than her own., however

It seems that while she had been away in Avalon and then in the mines, Bacchus had grown into an entirely new enterprise under the careful touch of her business partner. Altogether, Shenuvun cannot say she minds. The earth still calls her, and the grapes still burst forth, despite her time shackled away from magic, so getting back to ensuring her grapes remain supple and fresh as she heals from her time hidden away in the darkness is a balm to her fears. Surrounded by her element, she does not have the need for fear, so she submerges herself in the work of nudging the plants to full splendor after years away.
She doesn’t expect to be distracted, and specially, she doesn’t expect to be distracted by a noble and agent of the tower.
“Lady Gulizar,” she greets with a nod, surprised by the Agent of Minerva. They had met before, as the other seems to frequent Bacchus and Shenuvun spends a great deal of time in the vineyard since returning to Lysara, but there had been few proper conversations. “I would be delighted to show you my work, but I am afraid I don’t know if my gift could be easily replicated by a witch’s magic. I would be interested in trying, however.”
