Slowly sliding a mug of coffee over and nudging his arm with it where he rests his head. Unfortunately for Artair, it’s his special dirt coffee! “Artaiiiirrr….one cup an’ you’ll feel like a million bucks…~”
Artair doesn't know what he has been given, and sees no reason not to trust Butch is giving him something that is good. He lifts his head off the counter, propping it on his hand while the prosthetic snags the handle of the mug.
Artair blinks blearily a few times, before taking a sip. He lowers the cup after a few seconds, staring across the way at the wall with an expressionless, sleepy face.
"Hm." He says. Assessing for a long moment. "Is this what the fuss is over...?" He takes another sip. "Not bad, as far as coffee goes."
#gunslinginnhogtyin#gunslinginnhogtyin. Butch#rp#ic artair#FUN FACT the eggshell wasn't required but was ground up and added to coffee to help settle and clump the grounds a lil faster! It actually#made the coffee slightly less bitter too! if you gave it time to settle and didn't drink the last few tablespoons where the grounds were?#you were probably good to go!#just make sure the egg is hardboiled to avoid salmonella!#a similar way to remove the acidity from coffee is salt but as someone who has tried that one it works but be careful because#it's super easy to add too much and the coffee taste bad jdjdjd#but yeah i think the eggshell used to get ground up into a powder ! and i've heard you can even use just a whole egg for grounds?#though i haven't tested it or how it affects coffee lol#the other option is to just. let the coffee sit and naturally sink the grounds to the bottom xD

Dear Ian, it's been almost a year since my last post and once again, everything has changed. There have been ups and downs for sure....the FBI thing, my mental health, trouble in both our families, the garage gym, new dreams, your long-awaited JAW SURGERY!
You didn't pass your fbi polygraph test and you were devastated. I think it may be the hardest thing you've been through. We didn't talk about it a ton and you wouldn't finish criminal minds with me which made me sad. But honestly looking back, I'm so GRATEFUL you didn't, because it's so dangerous to be in law enforcement now with all the political drama in the last year+ and I just don't think I could've handled that stress or you being gone for 5 months of training. I'm also happy we didn't move because I was able to be with my mom through her breast cancer relapse. She had her last chemo yesterday so we're praying it's gone.
You also would've had to get vaccinated, which is a pending problem at your current job. You had to come up with some new dreams and you landed on personal training and opening your own gym, which is honestly so fun and so you. Ideally, you would like to train people in our garage for a year while taking your time to open a cool gym...but if your work requires you to get the vaccine, you'll be fired and have to expedite the plan, maybe open a small personal training studio sooner. You've been training me and a few of your friends as practice, I'm getting strong! You still haven't settled on a gym name though!
We don't want the vaccine because we want to have a baby soon and there are no real or long-term studies on how the vaccine affects fertility (or like, anything else lol). We decided we were ready earlier this year but I needed to get help for my anxiety/depression, work through some things, spent 6 months on some meds...which I've been off for a week and am doing amazing! Now we only have to wait 1.5 more months to try because I had to get my chicken pox/measles vaccine, ugh. I'm so impatient. Photography is keeping me busy in the meantime.
Probably the biggest thing to happen this year has been your jaw surgery! You've been preparing for so long and you finally had the surgery on June 23...so my birthday was a little slow lol. It was a really hard first couple weeks- your nose wouldn't stop bleeding and you didn't even want to eat- I think you lost 10-15lbs. I waited on you hand and foot and you got so tired of only eating liquids, it was hard. But your swelling is FINALLY gone, you've gained back the weight in muscle, you're growing your hair out, and two days ago you GOT YOUR BRACES OFF. You look Hot 🔥🥵🔥
Honestly I think this may be the happiest I've ever been. We're just so in sync, we take good care of each other. I love you an incredible amount and I wish I had the right words to tell you.
PS, this morning we walked to L3 for some coffee (since you left this afternoon for 2 weeks offshore, booo) and we took turns on my new skateboard. On the way home you tripped and it shot out from under your feet...and rocketed *straight* down into the sewer drain. We laughed so hard we fell to our knees crying and you said that alone was worth the $20. It really feels like we're just kids, doing life and living the dream together. You're my best friend.
