"i got time, i don't need to worry about a lack of updates regarding that Smeargle run too much yet!"

it has been a little too long, actually. where'd the time even go... i've been a bit busy cleaning, mostly. i guess i've also been reading a fair bit of manga in my off time, but i wouldn't consider playing the smeargle run at those times anyways. i guess at this point, no real sense in worrying about playing catch up just yet, fest is looming and i got painting to do.

drawing is also going well! funny how this fest and this blog's 5th anniversary are gonna be on the same weekend. i probably should've figured and did something more seasonal, but i don't really plan to. i feel like the two big things i wanted to get made are done well enough for me, it's just a matter of timing them now. and i did get an extra thingy made which'll be shown later. honestly, i drew a lot less than i really wanted to get made, but i feel pretty invigorated instead of burnt out on drawing, so it's a nice silver lining. i got some long term ideas in the back of the head. i should just write them down instead.

i suppose i have been wanting to get a bit of lineless stuff in, maybe i could squeeze in some pieces like that in the next week. maybe a few sketches of humans/humanoids. want to work on perspective on that front.
