Lowkey, it was super intentional that we didn't see Sevika or Singed in the alternate timeline. Episode 7 of s2 is trying to prove really hard that Vander's terrible letter was the first step to true reconciliation and domesticity for him and Silco, and to really sell it you can't have Silco surrounded by other people that he forged close ties with and who extended their own version of compassion to him in the fallout of Vander's betrayal. The audience can't immerse themselves in a domestic fantasy if they can see viable alternatives around the corner. It's got the same vibe as romance series that shunt off interesting rivals out of the plot to save the endgame couple.
#arcane#silco#vander#sevika#singed#sevilco#sinco#arcane ramble#that alt world is bonkers that terrible letter that underpins the very clunky theme of forgiveness totally definitely worked guys#everybody's cool and somehow silco doesn't need shimmer to take care of his eye#they had to know that if sevika and singed were in the picture vander'd be sweating#those two aren't reflexively loyal to him and they independently respect silco#i think they could have reconciled but it's execution was really insecure#also silco doesn't need shimmer (or singed) for... reasons now
