Woo boy, the fact I can't get an endocrinology appointment before fucking FEBRUARY is the worst.
#you'd think there'd be more of them with everyone apparently knocking down their doors to get their hands on ozempic or whatever#but google says they are super badly paid compared to other specialties#which again in america where we have such an obsession with the potentially fake prediabetes diagnosis#and general weight loss which 3/4s specialize in anyway#you'd think that wouldn't be the case#regardless my dermatologist clocking my insulin resistance after years of pcps/gynocologists/endocrinologists all telling me 'you're on#birth control the pcos is fine' is annoying af on it's own#but now i'm bascially treating it with her single response to my blood work that doubled as a referral since nyc has no endocrinologists!!!#those hormone influencer bitches are going to take over my instagram algo again i'm already mad about it#but clearly i see why people fall for it#better to follow them and get (bad not tested) guidance than deal with the medical bullshit
