i think thistle is the truest version of a poor little meow meow
#every other character i see harkened as a poor little meow meow is like#some pathetic side character or cartoonish villain#like sometimes people play up the backstories or patheticness of villains/antiheros in a story#but like#thistle is actually genuinely written like that#there isnt this dissonace i feel with fanon and canon i feel with others#thistle is a good well written villain. he has funny moments but they don't overtake his role as a threat#he even has a tragic backstory but that doesn't make him any less powerful or dangerous#his patheticness isnt overplayed but hes not cartoonishly evil either#ramble over#dungeon meshi#dungeon meshi spoilers#kinda#thistle dungeon meshi
