Can you do something with all Might and Spring? Grass is starting to turn green around here and the trees are getting little leaves/buds, so I'm excited to finally be away from winter :) You're amazing!
A/N: I’m writing these from an iPad, which is using Tumblr Mobile. Because I’m using mobile, I’m not able to create a ‘keep reading’ link like before. My desktop computer is being overrun by my father at the moment (he has to use it for work), so I’m not going to be able to do the ‘keep reading’ link for awhile. Unfortunately, this makes my posts very long, which i dislike very much. I hope you guys can put up with it for the time being!!

It’s always beautiful to watch the seasons change. Everyone notices in their own way how the seasons change- perhaps because they enjoy watching nature turn, or because their favorite holiday is coming up, or any other reason. Things in society are always hectic and seemingly endless, but the Earth remains the same. It changes, just like everything else do, and it does it routinely, in a slow, calming wave.
Needless to say, you love to watch the seasons pass by as the year edges on. One of your favorites, you think, will always be watching the chilly dead winter turn into a lively, colorful spring.
Not only do the colors, clouds, and trees change, but you think that people do, too. In reaction to the nicer weather, people come out of their homes more and become more chatty. You’ve noticed that some of the students have started to decorate their uniforms with some blossoms from the trees or an interesting, cute design pinned on their jackets or backpacks.
It’s another early spring morning, and you’re stuck in your own head with these thoughts in the teacher’s lounge until some students take your attention by asking questions about the new semester. You’re caught up in them for awhile, until eventually they all have to slink off to class, and you’re left alone in your little office until you get another visitor. Right on time, as always.
“Good morning, Toshi,” you smile at the man as he walks in, two boxes in his hand. You take out the to-go coffee cups that were sitting on the floor next to your desk as Toshi sets the small boxes down and sits across from you. Handing him his drink, he smiles back at you and relaxes against his seat.
“Good morning, ___. It’s another busy morning, isn’t it?”
You hum, opening one of the boxes to reveal the bento inside. “Yes, it is. The students are so chipper because of the spring.”
You begin to eat your breakfast and Toshi sips on his coffee first, just like every morning.
“It has been nice seeing the sun some more,” he idly comments, if only to fill the comfortable silence between you. “What do you like to do, now that it’s spring?”
“Well, you can see I’m dressed for the season,” you chuckle as you gesture to your flowery button up shirt. Since you weren’t a hero, you were allowed to dress however you pleased, as long as it was professional. You rather liked the freedom, but it often meant you stuck out a bit from changing your outfit everyday in an otherwise uniformed school. “But I don’t usually have plans... Other than spring cleaning, I suppose.”
“Right,” Toshi nods.
“...But, I was thinking,” you slowly stop eating as you grin, looking down at the bag next to your feet, “we could change up your uniform, too.” You look at him with a hooked brow.
He squints. “What do you mean? My outfit is fine.”
That’s true, but it’s also boring. Toshinori was the only other one in the district that didn’t strictly have to wear his uniform, especially now that he was retired. Now he just wears suits that are way too big in case he ever transforms.
“Yeah, well,” you reach into your bag, the plastic rustling loudly as you bundle up fabric in your hands and stand up. You show off the item you bought now that you have the room- because his size is quite big.
It’s a very large floral button up, colored with yellow and pastel orange blossoms. You gush as you show it off to him. “Isn’t it cute?! And it would look so good on you, too!”
“I-“ Toshi stares at the shirt, seemingly at a loss for words. “...I’m upset I can’t find a reason to argue against this.”
“That’s the spirit!” You laugh and ball up the shirt, throwing it toward him gently from across the desk. “Go and put it on!”
“Right now?”
“Yeah! The students will love it!”
“...Our coworkers won’t.”
“They’ll love to tease you,” you cackle, grinning ear to ear. “But you will look so handsome that their teasing won’t even matter, okay?”
Toshinori sighs, and there’s a cute pink blush on his cheeks as he slowly sets his coffee down on your desk and stands up. “Alright, okay. I’ll be back.” He walks toward your office door, opening it before standing there for a few seconds. He looks back at you silently and you wave your hand at him with a grin. He slowly walks out of the room with another sigh.
Once he’s gone, you burst into a fit of giggles, but you’re genuinely looking forward to it. You think the shirt will look great on him! Plus, you’ll be matching. Maybe it’s a little coupley, but you think it’s cute.
It doesn’t take long until Toshinori comes back, slinking into your office and very quickly shutting the door behind him once he enters. You raise your eyebrows at him, snorting.
“Anyone see you?”
“...I don’t think so.”
As he’s pressed up against the door, looking out the blinds of your windows, you look him over. Now, you don’t think he’ll let you... But if he let you, you could tie his long strands back and he’d look even better. Toshinori looks great as is, though, and there’s one big factor to that: you bought the shirt in his actual size. It isn’t hanging off him loosely like all his other clothes, and he honestly looks great. The flowers bring out a cute, happy look on him.
“I think this looks so good,” you grin as you walk up to him, feeling the fabric between your fingers. “Isn’t it nice to wear something your size?”
Toshi pouts. “But if I transform, I’ll ruin it...”
“Well, we’ll just see if you can go an entire day without showing off. It’s not like you can do hero work, anyway.”
“Hey.”
“It’s true!” You laugh again before heading back to your desk, sitting down and pulling your bento back toward you. “Now, come back and eat. Thank you, Toshi.”
The retired hero just hums, rolling up his sleeves to the elbow (which you were hoping he’d do, because he looks that much more handsome when he does) before sitting down and eating with you. It’s silent for a moment, before he eventually mutters, “...thank you.”
You smile. You knew he’d like it- he’s just too shy for his own good. “You’re welcome. And, you know, if you like it... I bought like four more.” You burst out giggling again at his shocked expression. Your shoulders bounce as you cover your mouth.
“___!”
“What! You look so good! And, honestly, if you don’t want them then I’ll just wear them. As a nightshirt or something.”
You watch as he blushes, even more so then before, and grumbles. “I’ll take them.”
