"lambkin" is a really funny translation if you think about what the first obvious consideration must have been ("darling") and why they seem to have hard-swerved around using it

#this isn't hating on the ER translation btw it's just environmental storytelling #it was genuinely a really good catch to not have varré say 'darling' when that's how LOTS of people would translate it #and you almost have to use an overly-fond pet name like 'lambkin' to give an english listener that sort of pause if you can't use 'darling'
