And I'm not trying to be political but just in my own experience, be wary when people say "the Latino vote" because the different ethnicities all vote differently
Cuban-Americans for example, especially the older ones, tend to vote further right because they see the left as closer to communism which they fled from or suffered from during the Castro years
Some are extremely religious and vote based on religious doctrine, or put religion above other political issues, and others aren't
You can't take them as a monolith, because the trends are different for different groups and ages within the groups
#this isn't even touching on the Puerto Rican vote which is a whole other can of worms#and of course there's more to all of this and it's not something I can fully answer#but just know it's super complicated and there's a lot of fracturing in the groups right now
