yall know about that one episode of friends where joey went and used a thesaurus to change every word in his speech and it ended up completely unintelligible? that's how i feel about grammarly in fic writing.

#not to say it isn't useful for some people #like spell/grammar-checking is so fucking important lest you end up with a fic that's completely unintelligible but in a different way #but. god.#sometimes you can just TELL when a fic is 90% ai fixes and 10% actual human writing #this isn't a vaguepost or callout or anything we're just talking about plagiarism in mythology class and i came up with this line #and thought 'hm. maybe the beasts will like this or maybe i'll get my head torn off'#writing #fanfic #spaghetti wall
