...people do realize these aren't meant to REPLACE trees right? And that these are supposed to be a way to have healthy oxygen-producing photosynthesis in urban areas where trees can't easily if at all be grown or transplanted in?

#ok but like jokes aside this is HUGE #a lot of cityscapes and other heavily urban areas can't have actual trees introduced simply due to how inhospitable the ground is for them #this isn't a tree replacement: this is an alternative solution for areas where actual trees would bot be able to healthily live in #on top of being able to be put in areas where some trees might not thrive well due to turbulant weather or manmade hazards #like of course where trees can be planted we should plant them there instead #but realistically that's not always on option #and thus we have these algea tanks #also these can be put ON TOP of buildings and other areas trees cant (at least without huge resource and money investments)
