tbh the trc scene that affected me the most deeply is the one in the raven king where blue ambiguously dream-drags gansey into a tree with her and tells him "we could just stay here. we could just get away from it all and stay here and never let anything bad happen ever" and gansey tells her "i want that so much. but i know what i have to do. i love you, blue, but i know what i have to do"

#we'll sneak out while they sleep and sail off in the night we'll come clean and start over the rest of our lives....#when we're gone we'll stay gone out of sight out of mind it's not too late we have the rest of our lives....#this scene fucked me up. gansey calling her blue instead of jane. she held him 'just loving him and keeping him'#the scene that affected me second most deeply was ronan looking for gansey adam scrying after him and blue holding his hand to ground him #this is why it's mystifying to me that so many people find trk their least favorite book #rip to all of you who werent fucked up by the melancholy horror-tragedy and desperate love of it all but i'm different #is it any Wonder mi was my favorite dreamer trilogy book #trc
