Kakashi x Reader but it's a Princess Mononoke AU. Kakashi is Ashitaka and Reader is Sen. I don't know, something about Reader saying "That's enough! I'm not listening to you anymore!" and Kakashi answering with "You're... beautiful..." seems really attractive to me right now. He seems like he'd be self sacrificing enough to do that. And hopelessly romantic enough to say that.

Alternatively, ANBU!Kakashi is Sen and the Reader is Ashitaka. Kakashi asking Reader why they stopped him from killing someone and Reader, barely awake, answers with "I didn't want you to die." It could work, especially when you consider Kakashi with his dogs.
