summary:

Prince Brant's kingdom is crumbling from the inside out, coffers running dry, but he learns wishes may be more than stories. When he runs into Jolie Ruewen, a bold avian expert, he's enchanted on the spot, and asks her to come back--she doesn't mind, as the palace has something she wants, and she needs time to find it. From different worlds, they find themselves drawn to each other and pushing the lines of decorum, but can it last?
