9 Images that Capture your VTM OC's Vibe: Daniel "Peanut" Jenkins Childe of Owen Wilson, medic of the Mad Bulls Motorcycle Club, Nymphus in the Cult of Mithras in New England
daniel is For Sure my favourite npc that we've made for our chronicle, so i can't believe it has taken me this long to mention him, holy fuck... check out his backstory beneath the cut!
Daniel grew up in a middle-class household in Boston in the 1890s, the son of druggist and baptist deacon George Jenkins. a bright and curious youth, Daniel's parents supported his interest in medicine; his charm, wit, and success in academic endeavors made him the family's golden child, and the hero of his younger brother Leon. the family's hopes were dashed, however, when Owen forcibly embraced and tortured Daniel in 1909, as an act of spiteful aggression against his ancestor, the Ventrue Cezar Jenkins. Daniel's memories of this time are foggy and jumbled from the trauma, and repeated blood-bondings to Owen have brainwashed him to love his sire and seek his approbation. his nickname, "Peanut", further served to sever the tie between him and his mortal family.
Daniel often hallucinates his mother, father, and brother, which is a source of confusion and frustration for him. he also has a tendency to regress when under strain, and fears going to hell-- or worse, being in hell already. despite his role as "team medic" and one of Owen's Hounds, he is frequently the target of abuse by the other bikers. he enjoys watching boxing on television and reading the bible or medical texts, and can often be found upstairs in the clubhouse cooking meth all night for the Mad Bulls' mortal members to sell. like Owen, he wants to return to Boston to stay.
my two most major influences for Daniel are Paul de Pointe du Lac (IWTV 2022) and Chromakopia by Tyler the Creator (specifically "St. Chroma," "Noid" and the first verse of "Take Your Mask Off").
