i know this is gonna sound crazy, i Know!!, but i think trying out that '70s west coast polycule arrangement actually couldve legit been helpful for billy joel's music career (and/or mental health) in his 20s. or it could've catastrophically rocked his entire shit, but it's so funny to me that if the stars aligned in the right way back in 1970-or-so, a throuple thing could've happened and we would've seen 1 of these 2 options play out
