You've heavily conditioned me, now every time I see Jason I think of you. Are you Pavlov in disguise?
Excuse you, it's called a dragsona
Sidenote this is funny because this is in fact technically classic conditioning: you see one of my posts and thus think of me (unconditioned stimulus), you see the post is about Jason (neutral stimulus) and with time seeing posts about Jason becomes a conditional stimulus and you think of me every time you see a post about Jason. And then it undergoes a process called generalisation where your brain goes from the stimulus "seeing a post about Jason" to also reacting (thinking about me) to stimuli that share properties with that stimulus, like just seeing any image of Jason. So yes, this is absolutely classical conditioning, except it would have driven pavlov mad to hear you say that because the old geezer focused his learning theory on behaviour only because he believed thoughts and anything that happened in the brain were unattainable and couldn't be studied and thus didn't matter to science. Hah.
#in order for it to stop you would have to stop seeing my posts about jason#in a very intuitive process called fading#this is an interesting theory and the basis of cbt it's just vastly incomplete because it decided to disregard The Brain#kind of an essential when doing psychology tbh#the blame for this extreme position of course can be traced back to Freud#all roads lead to talking shit about freud or something idk#ask#ask answered#funnily enough since this is an anon ask you might already know all of that if it's true forget everything I said#sorry i'm a yapper
