You see yesterday I made homemade tortillas to celebrate crush day, but that was just pre gaming. Today to celebrate crush day it’s homemade Hallullas 🎉🎉🎉

Idk about the other hc questions, but as a chilean I know for a fact the turtles favorite breads would be these (with pictures and commentary, this is an important subject👆):

Donnie would like hallulla the most, it has a very nice simple texture, you can put almost anything on it, it’s best with either butter or smashed avocado, the classics, though some people sweet things on it, like jam or manjar. These toppings work for all the following bread types though. I think Donnie would eat these with either butter or avocado.

Leo would like dobladitas, they have a weird shape but they’re easy to eat as you can open them with your bare hands and I think Leo would appreciate that considering the burnt toast he made in that one episode. He would eat these with cheese and ham.

Raph would like marraqueta, he would love choripan, that’s all my reasoning.

Mikey would like ciabatta, it’s has a weird texture but it’s the one I see being used the most for fancy sandwiches, he would know how to make really good ones.

Hallulla (Spanish: [aˈʎuʎa]; from Hebrew challah) is a popular bread in Chile and Bolivia. The hallulla is a flat round bread baked with vegetable (but sometimes also animal) shortening and is used for several traditional sandwiches.

The traditional recipe includes wheat flour, yeast, sugar, salt, vegetable shortening, milk and water.
