do you know if there's a general gem nsfw tag? people use very obscure tags (for good reason) so I can't find anything
you're the only nsfw blog i know so ahjdhfjshjkdgkla
don't think so, no! your best luck is skimming tags like #empiresnsfw #trafficnsfw #hermitnsfw and seeing what you can find, via who's posting and reblogging. those tags are safe from being found without censoring because of how tumblr's algorithm works. if there was a space they'd show up in the main tag, so don't do that!
i don't personally use those tags for my work; yes my stuff is NSFW, but it usually doesn't contain sexual intercourse or genitals, so feels a bit out of place. maybe we need a #(series name)kink tag...
i can also nudge you towards @mcytredacted, a submission blog that has tags for submissions about a certain CC or character. most of the likes will be from SFW mains, but if you see any reblogs, it might lead to a sideblog you'll like! a lot of blogs i keep up with know about it, so it serves as a good "hub."
if you do go digging and lurking, just remember to be respectful and keep everything on the down-low! (and if anyone wants to promo themselves under with this post feel free? anon was asking about g,em content specifically but i'm a sorta well known blog, so it might be nice for anyone to pitch their stuff...)

// I know i'm a bit scarce rn bc of school, but I probably won't be around much starting tomorrow until i'm able to finish arle's story quest. I may be able to start it on wed, but idk how long it will take to finish it - maybe as long as until friday.
I will probably also be able to move to the new blog in early may, since I'll only have three tests for finals and then it's just my summer projects I have.
so!!! all that being said, this will be an affiliates call that will go into effect with the move: like this post if you'd be interested in being affiiliates and we've written together/developed our muses quite a bit. you also have to be okay with me bothering you in dms about them, sending you links to fanarts/memes, and it may even come with spontaneous edits/aesthetics if inspiration strikes.
when I move, I really want to focus on development, with my muse and between muses, on threads both fun and diving into our muses. this is also open to his hsr verse.

WHOS READY FOR SOME CENTENNIALS!!!!!!
unasked for explanations below once again
This set of designs is different from Ryan's because i basically just traced my old sketches and redid them digitally to give them colour so there are less design details (sorry lmao)
ANYWAY continuing with the "time-accurate" clothing choices, I'm hoping it's more obvious with loey and neas this time. You have no idea how RELIEVED i felt when i saw neas' third overhaul was in the 2000s. I love details but I have been working with suits for like 30 designs by now.
Because I did these back in october I don't really have proper ref images but if you googled men's fashion for each of their respective eras you should get pretty good results and if you don't im sorry💀
Not sure if it's obvious but they're supposed to "age" with every overhaul, yea im aware my ability to draw people older than 40 is nonexistent-
On that note, I have a more in-depth hc for how the "human" of an engine appears which would explain how loey and neas can "age" but the short version is the "human" is a combination of the maturity of an engine's mentality and the engine's actual age
I do not know enough of the Skarloey Railway lore to back my headcanons but I hc that during their early days, the SR was more strict with appearances, hence the suit jackets and whatnot (kinda like how RWS SR engines all have the same livery)
Towards the SR's later days, the change of directorship and the increasing diversity of their rolling stock led to much more relaxed regulations on appearances. The jackets that the overhaul 2 designs are holding would look similar to the jacket that overhaul 1 loey is wearing, which would bear the engine's nametag and the signature red shoulder pad designating an engine's gauge
Also the nametag and specifically the number badge were details added later when I finished my handel and petah designs, yes I love it a lot that's why i mentioend it.
Overhaul 1 neas is particularly different from overhaul 1 loey because for one they're two different decades, but also the time between his first and second overhaul was when neas had to run the line on his own (not to mention the world war woah...)
I haven't really figured out specific height hcs yet but neas and loey are around the same height as each other but grow a tad with each overhaul
ok das it for this one i think, thank yall for the wonderful reception of ryan im so happy yall loved him😭🥹also thanks for making it to the end next time it's probably gonna be handel and petah<3

so like i want to talk more abt what suicidal means but the problem is "suicidal ideation presents in two general forms, active and passive. the thing most people think of as suicidal is the active version, where the person *actively* desires to be dead and/or is making a plan to get there. the passive form however gets almost no attention in media so many people experiencing it are unaware they are even depressed, much less passively suicidal. some examples: not wanting to experience death but feeling like you wouldn't mind if you didn't wake up tomorrow or just stopped existing; feeling deeply exhausted with just the entire concept of being alive; even feeling like you want to run away, change your name, and start a whole new life; none of these look like suicidal ideation to most people because they don't involve actively doing anything to get from point a to point b, especially the more abstract ones like the start a new life thing - but remember that in order to truly start a whole new life, you have to destroy your current one. it's not suicidal as in wanting to actually DIE die, it's just. wanting something close enough to scratch the itch. but just because you haven't booked the ticket doesn't mean you don't still revisit the 'vacation activities at point b' tab occasionally to daydream, yknow?" is i think very informative and specific, but its also quite long and run on-y so people are v likely to tap out like a third of the way through it, whereas "suicidal doesnt necessarily mean wanting to die" is way shorter and therefore catchier, but is also the kind of nonspecific phrasing that gets you a thousand angry anons about how you said all suicidal people are just pretending they actually want to die or some dumb shit. so it's a fun line to toe

i think the thing about miraculous ladybug is that for how utterly silly it is, it does really succeed at setting up intriguing and potentially complex character dynamics, that the silly tone of the show continuously does not follow through with, which is hilarious, but i can see why people are upset that it isnt as deep as it could be. like the whole love square thing is insane. the fandom makes it so angsty but the show just milks it for dramatic irony and comedy. and both takes on it are great 👍
